cool game but many things makes no sense. why is that door so damn fucking secure? its not a vault with the worlds most valuable treasure or super weapon besides the mech thats leaving. its not keeping something in or out. the opening is bullshit with the giant laser from you, a boss ship not in game, you have no shield. you ultimate attack is nothing like that. why is a super AI/Computer in the far future aiming for the 1940's first ever computer? the fuck is it gonna do back that far back? tech was super primitive, it would only be wasting its time. wouldnt it make more sense to attack much later in the past or a few years back? then the time shaft warps you to further into the future. lets say its the year 20XX, later its 25XX. so the alpha cores target should be prior to 20XX. not the 1940's thats too far back and this vac tube? it looks like a tiny lightbulb and what is our pilot doing with it? throwing it and catching it back in his hand. thats supposed to be the replaced part and hes playing with it and if i remember right after credits, theres some drone that delivers it. why is there a drone and why does the vac tube look bigger? and no such ai would have existed in 1946
The Alpha Core was trying to change history so that it would come about earlier and be able to destory humanity. The vacuum tube is an un modified one to replace the one that the Alpha Core put into ENIAC to hasten computer development before countermeasures like the Time Shaft and Omega Boost could be created. It is like Skynet trying to ensure that it is created when they try to stop it in the Terminator series, but with a cleaner result that isn't dragged out for sequel bait.
