Have to replace the sad excuse for a pilots seat. I scratch built mine and then finding a reasonable facsimile for the back of the tail turret. I used one from a binned Sanger Halifax kit. Yup, it's an injection moulded vac-form kit. 🫣 Punch happy with the end results after putting a years worth of work into it. 👍

I have the HP Halifax / Halton version of this kit and its a lot better then the bomber version. The fuselage and wings sections are mostly clean of flash, and the plastic is very strong especially the fuselage, panel lines appear consistent and would look great riveted . The fuselage is molded in four parts with the rear fuselage separate (the instructions show complete fuselage halves), I was a little confused as to why they did this as there is no alternative parts, only for the faired over rear turret position. I have seen some Haltons that appear to be fitted with a rear turret, maybe they intended to do an earlier version.
Main wheels are good, but could be substituted for the Tamiya Lancasters block tread tyres.
My clear vac form parts are very clear and consist of two canopy's, two nose cones (surgery is required to fit these as nose is solid) and two upper turret covers.
Resin parts look ok with nice resin engines.
Decals are for three aircraft, they look fine and in register, BOAC (speed bird), de la LAMS, and an RAF version operated by a Polish Squadron.
Im glad Phil is building this kit as I've been a little hesitant in building mine as I paid $155 Australian for it, and now I can take solace in watching him build a lovely replica and use his tips on building it.

instead of sending individual parcels to customers, get a distributor in the UK. Simples.
