    I saw someone that looked very familiar as I boarded my first-class flight to Vegas…
    He was a few people in front of me in line as we waited to board, but coincidentally as everyone entered the plane and found our seats, he and I were right next to each other (I’m ALWAYS window btw).
    Now I swear this guy is an NFL Hall of Fame running back, but I cannot be sure as he is wearing a hat and sunglasses (typical giveaway). To be forthright, situations like this happen all of the time and personally I’m anti-celebrity, but I think this was my favorite player growing up! But, me being me, I’m not going to ask, and I just order a drink and go to sleep so I can get some much needed rest before a huge Vegas trip.
    I wake-up to the plane touching down and as I slowly become coherent and start organizing my things, I notice the gentleman next to me is removing his bag from the overhead bin and it is the same leather bag I have! And on that bag was this - amzn.to/3HbN0nm - and at that moment I knew it was him. I said what’s up and asked him if he missed SD (San Diego), and he said “always.”
    The strangest thing was, this guy played for two NFL teams over his career, and actually won the MVP award and the Super Bowl for a different team - but that wasn’t the team he was repping on his bag.
    So, Who is he?
    Our Identical Bags are linked in the description by the way.

    My husband would die and go to heaven if he saw that wine collection at Wally’s! I think there’s more wine in that restaurant than in all the stores in my city combined. Thanks so much, James. You hit on all the points we love most about vegas.

    James, another awesome review! I will be out this week to Vegas for 7 nights - and I have time for 3 epic dinners at RW. As per your guidance, I'm going to be trying out the Ribeye Cap at Carver, the Oysters at Kusa Nori, and now I will have to try the chicken at Wally's. Love your content - I always learn something interesting and valuable with each review Thanks again!

    Going in March to watch first 2 rounds of March Madness at the Sports Book at Wynn/Encore but staying at Resorts World. I love Wynn/Encore but I have been wanting to try Resorts World for a long time and have a comped room. Don’t know about the sports book at Resorts World so headed for Wynn/Encore for that. I can’t wait for the meals and your videos are the reason why. Thanks Brother for a great video!

    Thanks for doing the jobs most Americans just won't do! My initial impression of RW was negative, as it seemed like a big airplane hanger, but your reviews reveal that it has tried very hard to create inviting and stylish dining and drinking experiences in more intimate settings. I only wish I could eat and drink like you these days.
    Thanks again!

    Great video! I just booked our room at the Conrad for four nights over Christmas. I watched several of your videos before making that decision. We go to Vegas to eat and have amazing food experiences mostly, so trying something different from center strip and trying out Resorts World was a no brainer. I really appreciate your videos and in depth reviews. After your absolutely glowing review, I can't wait to try Kusa Nori! Keep up the good work 😊

      I couldn't imagine formulating judgements on a hotel until at least 12 months after grand opening.
      All hotels are horror stories for the first year. Sometimes the preceding isnt common knowledge, but it should be.
      Hotel Grand Opening = Enter at your own risk.

    I'm a 20 year local. My husband has to work on my 40th bday in a couple of weeks :( SO I've decided to do a hotel restaurant crawl. I do love sitting at the bar and dining on my own like you do. My bday is on a Tuesday so options can be a little limited bc some good restaurants on the strip are not open Tuesdays. Was thinking of doing Caesars and then maybe walking over to Bellagio. What would you recommend? If you have time to answer of course. Regardless, new to your channel and loving it!

      I really struggle with questions like this. When people ask my my favorite movie or song I always respond with a director and genre of music because my brain doesn't like to crystallize so many options down to a single response.
      I think you're on the right track, and of course it all depends on Your style and what your prioritize - cocktails, food, vibe, experience, etc.
      Personally, I'd start at the Petrossian

    Next time you're at Resorts World can you look up the price of any Screaming Eagle? Just curious to see what their wine markups are. Generally the higher end wine gets the least markup multipliers.

    I always thought that the Wynn/Encore was the best place for restaurants in Vegas, but in my opinion they've grown a bit stale. Resorts World seems to have that freshness and energy that Wynn/Encore is lacking. A lot like Aria when it first opened up.

    • @Coolist
      @Coolist  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I for the longest time also had Wynn/encore and aria at 1 & 2 for dining in Las Vegas.

    • @MACMAMI
      @MACMAMI 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel Wynn/Encore have been willing to shake things up in terms of lounges and bars, but in terms of restaurants they've kind of rested on their laurels and stood pat. Many of them are still a joy to be sure, but for anyone who has already exhausted their dining lineup you pretty much know what to expect.

    • @cindymmm11
      @cindymmm11 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same. Wynn/Encore used to be my favorite in LV to dine. Now, Resort World is my favorite place to dine.

    I'd say their high-end restaurant portfolio IS a bit superior to both Wynn/Encore and Aria considering your Resorts World stay produced a minimum of FOUR stand-alone restaurant reviews (possibly five if you'll have one for Genting Palace)................while I don't remember Wynn/Encore, Aria and Venetian/Palazzo even producing TWO yet (X-POT at the Palazzo, Mizumi at Wynn).
    You certainly can't go wrong with any of them and I'll keep coming back to each of them, but I now consider Resorts World tops in terms of high-dining portfolios. Bellagio may still have the ultra-ultra-elite crown, that said.

    • @Coolist
      @Coolist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Smart... And yes I actually had to cut a few standalone restaurant videos out of production - Caviar Bar, Zazu and Genting Palace.
      I just wasn't comfortable with the way they came together, but I would've easily published them if I had stayed at ANY other hotel.
      That's how good the dining is at RWLV...

    • @Coolist
      @Coolist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And yes, Bellagio is a tad isolated in its own unique dining niche as I find it both ultra-impressive and unparalleled while concurrently being bipolar and underwhelming.

    • @MACMAMI
      @MACMAMI 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Coolist Yeah, I understand how awkward that would have been just uploading seven stand-alone restaurant reviews from one resort.
      If anything, I was kind of surprised when I first encountered some of your other resort reviews that a few places like Mott 32, Cipriani and Carbone didn't get the stand-alone review honor. Although in fairness I don't think you started making stand-alone reviews right away with your Vegas content and the inspiration began a little later on. 🙂
      Either way, the joy is that there's STILL places you haven't gotten to properly review on this channel yet that I feel can very well inspire stand-alone reviews in their own right, yaaaaaaaayyy! Like Wing Lei, for example. Or whatever Fontainebleau and Dream might have in store a year or two from now. Can't wait! 😇
