I don't know which is more pleasing....the music of that 392 or the big ol' grin on the wheeler's face!! I know guys who can't do a cackle without a respirator. Well done, girl!!
Is she wild and radical like the cam in that motor? Music to my ears. I remember well the 392" hemi years long ago when a 1200 h.p. motor was the norm. Then it was 1800 h.p. followed by about 2500. The last funny car race I saw had cars that ran 3500 h.p.!
Brings back memories of all of the time I spent at O.C.I.R. Less than a mile form my house is a early Hemi with that has never been on the street or a race track anywhere.
@@justjamesAMX i worked on them new, in the 1968-1989 era,drove them when they were new,the early hemi's are my favorite and quite affordable,yes the gen 2 is exciting,but first design always tickles my fancy,extra care in engineering,chrysler corp cars and trucks
@@pudgip2855 331 out of a 1955 chrysler new yorker,12.5 to 1 mickey thompson slugs, isky cam,rev kit, lightened crankshaft,carrillo rods,hillborn injection,standing next to it alone,feeling the power thru your feet,rising up thru your legs ,i wonder if Walter P had any idea that his designs and genius would win the war for us and design a whole new culture of drag racers,this engine is going into my favorite car a 1965 cuda gasser,then my life will be just like it was in 1969,fun,i hope you find what you want
I love the 2 stroke sound, its most likely loop charged through the valves with blower and 1:1 ratio cam with intake/exhaust opened for scavenging. I'm going with an aluminum 572 block for my 2 stroke project.
very nice slingshot rail as i liked these dragsters as they are the cars of drag racing golden years as i knew thiswas drag racing golden years and the sport was really not the same atfer the Garlits clutch explosion as thiswas the end of the front engine dragsters as we are in the nostalgia scene with these cars as i liked the front engine dragsters as these was my Favourite cars in drag racing in these days we are gonna have fun racing these cars in future as thisas really getting more fun in future these slingshot rails these was really the trusest dragsters as they are really the heritage of the sport of drag racing as im going to build a dragster like that in future thiswas my first ever front engine dragsters was twitchy witch was my first ever FED dragster as thiswas my future career was in these cars in futue

In 70's as a Kid My Uncle would take me to the Orange County Race Track, Seen alot of the Legendary Racers and Cars..
