Now that I've taken my 400 apart and looked at the cases, it DOES have what looks like oil holes for the crank bearings. Are those just holes to nowhere, maybe? Also, I was glad to see that the rod kit I got for my rebuild did indeed have oil slots in the big-end. So at least I've got that going for my bike...
Great info. Kind of disappointed about not having anything going to the crank bearings though. I wonder if any of the guys who rebuild these cranks will retrofit a slotted rod to help the lubrication?

hey @TripleDarth since it is not oiling the crank bearings does this mean the system can be deleted and you can run just premix?
