Kaido is underrated imo, he easily displayed some of the best usage of haki in the series during phase 4 wano. I personally believe Shanks and Kaido could give Roger and Whitebeard a great fight in a 2v2 all in their primes.
True, people tend to be too hyped with OG to see things straight, but Kaido and Shanks prime can definitely rival the OG prime
Kidd doesnt measure up when the story portrays him as one of luffys rivals for the one piece. Kidd is very strong but if kidd fights anyone who is a viable contender for pirate king he gets folded like a school folder

I think people are getting too hyped over Garp and Shanks. I mean just because they are using abilities we haven't seen yet doesn't mean they are the only ones who can use them. there may be other reasons for it like age. Whitebeard most likely didn't use it do to being to old and sick, Garp most likely because they were fighting on their home turf and going wild would only hurt the marines

Kid loses most fights without help from others. His on screen fights he won because he was fighting with luffy and/or law. Also was bodied by Shanks (most people would get folded anyway but it's the only other time we've heard from him). Also "A Dude In A Room" aka Grand Line Review made a video talking about Kid vs Law and someone mentioned "useless captain mid" as opposed to his actual name "Eustass Captain Kid".

Shanks used his strongest attack against Kidd and did by surprising him so Kidd had no time to prepare for his Adv Conq Divine Departure(A skill Roger had)
It being his strongest attack is completely headcannon. Kid got blitzed. It’s not like he didn’t see Shanks at all. He saw him but couldn’t react.

There’s no confirmation that that’s Shanks’ strongest attack. And honestly Shanks is surprising anyone since he can apparently kill someone’s observation haki. Combine that with the insane speed he showed and I don’t think anyone is seeing that attack coming.

Haki can cancel the effects of devil fruits if it's strong enough. Law couldn't use room on big mom & kaido because their haki was too superior to his own.

Kidd is pretty much a match with Luffy in terms of power but he was unlucky enough to face against Shanks who is considered to be the strongest Haki user in the series so he was one shotted, wether he died or got picked up by Shanks is up to Oda.

May I suggest you watch Mashle when it comes out in anime form? The manga is literally one of the funniest things I've ever read. It seamlessly combines One Punch Man and Harry Potter into an action series and I've had chapters that made me laugh so hard I puked a little. Not proud of the facts, but there they are.

there is no such a thing as a haki man. haki is like a invisible coat that strengthen your weapons and body, which means that you are not using haki to attack but to strengthen your attacks. also the only way to be a "haki man" is through the haoshoku haki (conqueror's haki) becouse that is a pure haki attack, but lets be honest, no one uses that as a main attack

Garp is probably in God Tier, not that far from Shanks honestly.
We've seen monsters like Kaido destroying mountains or WB destroying islands with their DF. But Garp destroyed a goddamn city with his haki burst only, and he's not even in his prime anymore. We haven't seen anyone do that so far except for him.
People have been shitting on Garp, but honestly Garp was definitely at Roger's level in his prime, not below.
