One thing about speed in one piece is that, characters move at light speed all the time, it’s just that kizaru is light speed by base, and adds his own speed on top of that. So he is easily FTL, but scaling is really weird for this so take this with a grain of salt. Rest assured, he isn’t just light speed

About the whole paramecia thing, devil fruits fall into 3 categories, logia (abilities that transform the user into an element), zoan (the ability to transform into an animal of some sort), and paramecia(abilities that don’t fall into the other two categories, basically think of it as misc)

1:51 The video meant that since aokiji is made of ice he cannot be hurt normally. If you punch ice, ice cannot feel pain. Likewise, aokiji is immune to a wide variety of attacks. Aokiji's ice even allows him to reform his body if shattered and has no limit to how much he can reform. Even with fruits such as light, you cannot touch light so you cannot touch or hurt kizaru. This is one reason why logia the admirals are so op, because one basic ability of their fruit grants invincibility to most attacks. That is where haki comes in. Haki is able to hit logia fruits and damage them. I hope this helped to give a bit more context to why some one piece characters are ranked so highly by one piece fans.
Also in the video, the dude miss label Aokiji devil fruit. Aokiji eated the cold cold fruit, NOT ice, He is the concept of coldness, turn himself to ice is just one of the feature.

Aokiji devil fruit in is Hie - hie no mi, with mean chilly or cold, he can generate/control/ transform into breathe of cold. And if you pay attention, he never generate ice, and have to freeze the surrounding water (air/liquid) to do the stuff he want.

For your question as to what turning into ice does for aokiji, this answer applies to all logias: turning their bodies into their respective elements basically gives them invincibility. For aokiji, if he turns to ice and you shatter him, he'll reform perfectly fine the next moment.
Many devil fruits in One Piece initially present themselves are silly or useless (except for the obviously powerful ones). The Creator does great job at illustrating how devastating the powers can actually become. This is a clear factor that makes One Piece so entertaining.

I don’t think you fully understand just how strong Aokiji is with his ice. Temperature is no longer a problem for him. Something is melting him? Easy. He can be colder.
He literally fought the Magu Magu fruit, which SHOULD be his weakness by your logic, but he only lost after losing the stamina to fight. Why? Because that’s how cold he is.
Aokiji does not have the ice ice fruit, it is the cold cold fruit, things transform into ice because of the temperature.
It's really hard to pinpoint where kizaru really stands as far as strength So his AP is at a question mark but this poses a problem to the other admirals as well because people only go by what they've seen so far

There are 3 main types of devil fruits to start the series, and adding on 2 or 3 additional “versions” (depending on whether or not people accept special paramecia types) SO let’s start with the 3 main types: Paramecia, Logia, Zoan. The paramecia type allows the creation and manipulation of a certain type of material “or in some cases turns the users body into the material ie Luffys rubber fruit, some paramecia devil fruits are man made material like “candy” as well. Logia type is what you saw in most of the early admirals, that type allows the user to become intangible (you can’t hurt them physically without haki “which is its own other thing”) they can also create their elements to use in attacks. Zoan type allows the user to turn their body into an animal, some can fly like the falcon fruit, and others give them power and speed like the bull fruit or the cheetah fruit. Onto the 2 specials, first is Mythical Zoan type which allows the user to turn into a mythical creature like a Dragon or Phoenix granting them special powers for each fruit along with the ability to turn into mythical creatures, (the phoenix has regeneration and blue flames “though the user still feels the pain when hurt because he’s just regaining damage taken”) AND FINALLY Ancient Zoan types, which allow the user to turn into extinct animals, (most of these animals have extremely goofy methods of hunting sich they claim is how the dinosaurs really hunted back when they were alive) ,dinosaurs, mammoth, saber tooth tiger, (the triceratops fruit eater claims that the three horns rapidly spun allowing the dinosaur to y’now fly 😂. Tbh, we haven't really seen much from the admirals except for the clips shown in the video. I'm sure Kizaru can move faster than light as we've seen Sanji move so fast he literally becomes invisible, and right after timeskip sabody, Luffy dodged light 3 light beams with ease even stating "Thats slow". With Future sight and being able to see multiple seconds maybe even minutes into the future really helps dodge these fast attacks. Akainu was the admiral that put the donut hole in both ace and whitebeard, and his magma is stated to be so hot that it can burn fire( When he punched ace, ace used his fire df to make it go through him but said that Akainu literally burned through the fire and then his organs. Like how the heck can fire be burned??? Fujitora is able to increase the pressure/amount of gravity to the point of even casually bringing down meteors (did this with doflamingo and law). Logia devil fruits are basically elemental. For example, light, sand, darkness, mud, ice, etc. Paramecia changes the users body similar to how Luffys body turned to rubber(also has another name after a god which brings him to G5, so hes basically a 2 in 1) people like how Aramaki can turn himself into plants or how law can make a large space where he can manipulate anything in it. Zoan's are basically animal devil fruits, for example jack from the beast pirated can turn into a mammoth or how queen can turn into a brachiosaurs.

The thing about logia's is that they're able to reform no matter how hard You hit them and the funny thing is that akiji is relative to absolute zero which is relative to -274 but only uses -10 if that he doesn't really go all out and we've never seen akiji go all out
This video didn't include prime sengoku(the one that can transform into a Buddha) because we don't know how strong he was in his prime but roger said "if you want to catch me send at least sengoku or garp", so that means only garp and sengoku were the only marines that capable of fighting Gol D Roger aka pirate king but it seems the guy who made this video just included old sengoku

Fun thing about logia is that even solid elements like plants and ice can be used to regenerate like Aokiji whose body getting shattered but refroms by creating more ice until he's back to normal or Ryokugyu who can sprout a new body away from his damaged one.

Logia-type Devil Fruits allow those who eat them to transform into an element, even doing so automatically to avoid all attacks that are not Armament Haki-imbued or are made of their weakness.
For example, Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit's intangibility can be negated against a 'hotter' Devil Fruit, like the Magma-Magma Fruit wielded by Akainu; Enel's Rumble-Rumble Fruit (lightning) was countered by Luffy's rubber body; and Crocodile's Sand-Sand Fruit becomes solid when it makes contact with liquid.

Paramecia fruits allow the user to either control things (doflamingo strings, whitebeard earthquakes) or do specific actions (Bonnie aging people and kuma repelling stuff). Logias allow the user to control a specific element and can turn their body into that element.
The thing with logia is, unless your a flesh logia, no damage to your body is going to hurt you.
It may move bits of you out of place, but moving your body back into place, to transform back, is an instinctual skill.
The only exceptions are natural weaknesses.
Not saying those aren't relevant, because they exist for a reason, but that's why the fruits are OP.
Meanwhile Garp isn't even an admiral but he's in the S+ tier for this list.
Aokiji doesn’t consciously turn into ice. The devil fruit literally makes aokiji’s body made of ice. That’s why logia users are so strong they literally can’t be damaged without haki

Even if the ice guy look like a human on the outside on the inside he's always Ice.
I mean it's not always an element right it could be a force of nature like Sakazuki.

the element thing is something they have to activate, though crocodile states you can train yourself to do it on instinct and so quickly that you don't have to consciously do anything. enel might be the best logia user we've seen simply for how fluidly he shifts back and forth (unlike most logia, who simply rely on being a logia to overpower their enemies).

in theory all of these characters are at least A and S tier so nothing was wrong on your list, i think his tier list just compares the admirals against each other rather than everyone at once. thats why someone like sengoku got C tier because he lacks strength to compete with the other admirals but hes still strong enough to beat alot of characters in the show
Lol turning himself into ice makes him invulnerable to damage he’ll just reform I would say that part is what makes logia’s almost broken
i would recommend checking out one pace if you haven't yet. personally i got burnt out around episode 500 and pretty much stopped watching it for a year or 2, but i was able to get back into it when i started following one pace. now i'm all caught up and i really enjoyed it.
Okay buddy so here's the difference between all the three types of devil fruits:
-A Logia fruit it's by far the strongest which allows you to manipulate a certain thing (such as fire, ice or light) and yet transform your body on it.
-A Paramecia fruit gives you a certain power (such as soul stealing or manipulate gravity), but you cannot transform your body on it, even thought it may change something about how your body works (Luffy's fruit was classified as a paramecia before the Gear5 plot). On the other hand, there's a plenety of different ways you can use these kind of powers in different ways than Logia users can
-A Zoan fruit gives you the ability to transform your body on an animal or a hybrid between your human form+the fruit animal. There's a special class of these which are called Mythical Zoan, which transform the user in some mythical creature, such as yamata no orochi, the Sun God fruit of Luffy or a chinese dragon in Kaido's case

I saw your question earlier so I'm gonna answer it for ya. A Paramecia type Devil Fruit is a class of Devil Fruit that doesn't fit into the other 2 categories, which are Zoan and Logia types. They're not the strongest but they're considered the most dangerous due to there being so many different abilities you could get from one, so they're unpredictable and anyone who fights with them is pretty much a wildcard

Paramecia Df gives you superpowers, but don't always directly change your body's make-up. For example, a logia is intangible, if you punch them, they won't be affected by it because their bodies are elemental. But paramecia users are still flesh and blood, and therefore can still be touched by regular attacks. (With few exceptions)
btw it was stated that aokijis fruit isnt an ice fruit but a cold fruit so he just makes himself cold enough to become ice as long as other things

A fair and non-bias assessment of the Admirals in One Piece is that they are the Navy’s strongest but are meant to typically be lower than Yonko since based on power and influence alone, the Yonko make up one of the major powers of the World alongside the Navy, Celestial Dragons(World Government Influence) and the Warlords at one point. The only admirals that have shown Yonko level power are Fleet Admirals or candidates for one like Akainu, Aokiji, and Sengoku since they have powerful DF but also great haki in general. This doesn’t apply to Garp since he refused to be an Admiral to not directly listen to the World Government and is the Strongest Marine in the series. So the reason I say Admirals are below Yonko typically is because to be the 4 Yonko you usually have an immense haki and/or a powerful DF as well as having crazy physical attributes and a fleet that amasses a great power that allowed them hold major territories in the New World. For example the mere presence of Whitebeard, even old, made the Navy sent out the Admirals, most of the marines with vice admirals, and the Warlords to fight WB and his fleet. While the admirals did do considerable damage on WB in Marineford, he was Old and sick as well as fighting multiple marines, vice admirals and the different Admirals at different moments of the war. In a fair 1v1 WB would beat each of the admirals but their is no fairness in war. Ranking the different Admirals in terms of powers looks like this, Greenbull is strong but by far the weakest Admiral since he was frightened and backed down from Shanks haki presence alone and his fight against Kaido commanders King and Queen wasn’t fair since he fought them after being damaged and injured after their fights in Wano. Fujitora is next and by being blind has enhances hearing and development a great observation haki and as admiral would have great haki overall. His powerful DF gives him a wide range of attacks and versatility in combat but an opponent relative or stronger than him in battle as well as people with strong haki can keep up with his gravitational attacks and not get greatly affected by it right away. Kizaru is up next being an elite Admiral with a great haki but more important a powerful DF that gives him a wide array of light speed attacks. He is elite however when him and the other Admirals encountered Shanks and his Yonko crew they backed off since they all have powerful haki and it wouldn’t be smart to have an all out fight at the end of the war with a Yonko and his crew with powerful haki users. The next two are Yonko level with their great DF, haki, and physical attributes and they are Aokiji and Akainu who fought for days on end and Akainu eventually won the battle in the end. The legendary marines Sengoku and Garp have immense haki and even with old age can still compete with Yonko but their physical attributes have gone weaker in some areas with age. Just a heads up I will put my One Piece tiers for the admirals in the scale of the verse and not the Yeagerists who put a tier list relative to the people present in the video and not the verse as a whole.
S-tier- Prime Garp, Akainu, Old Garp, Aokiji, Prime Sengoku, Old Sengoku
A-tier- Kizaru, Fujitora, Greenbull
Prime Garp is hands down the best just a step above elite Yonko with everybody below him being elite Yonko or close to it
A tier is your admiral level characters with Kizaru being close to Yonko level, Fujitora being an elite admiral level, and Greenbull being at admiral level
Until we get to see more powers of the Admirals in One Piece, this is my current opinion and ranking of all Admirals using knowledge from the anime/manga and my own personal opinion

The reason why the tier lists are ordered in different ways, is mainly due to what the characters are being compared to, for example, Fugitora, his power is exceptional, and would beat most of One Piece (excluding actual important characters like Garp, Luffy, the Yonko’s, etc) but when compared to the other Admirals, Fugitora is weaker than most.
when he becomes ice he can use it like a substitution jutsu.
Admirals are S tier overall but this tier list is essentially admirals vs admirals. So this is more of a high S tier vs low S tier

Something you gotta understand about this guy's rankings is that he's ranking them in respect to each other. So there's a really strong case for everyone here to be A or S tier overall, but that's not what this guy is ranking
Just to let you know that devil fruits basically defies the law of physics in some ways. And they are unpredictable depending on how the user use it or they have to trained for it.

silvers rayleigh, "the dark king" and right hand of the pirate king is one of the greatest living haki masters. he has all three types (armament, observation and conqueror's) and has demonstrated the ability to use the advanced form of one (armament) while displaying knowledge of the advanced form of a second (observation).
as of the current chapter (chapter 1080), we know of only three living characters who surpass his haki skill, and he trained two of them.
he's also old, drunk most of the time and a bit out of shape from the alcohol. so, dueling kizaru to a standstill and knocking people out with a look is _him on an off day._

I have a theory. Kizaru cannot move at the speed of light (300,000 Km/s), that's because Kizaru has mass and consciousness. Basically, light moves that fast because it has no mass, and Kizaru has mass which makes his maximum speed drop drastically. And according to Einstein's theory, the closer we get to the speed of light, the faster time goes, making Kizaru see the world faster than it should be and observers see Kizaru slower than it should be and this also affects Kizaru's speed.
For admirals we don't know what they're capable of so their list here is going to be where it is for now until we see more cuz it's hard to pinpoint exactly where they stand at we can only put them as what we've seen so far but not what they're capable of because we have not really seen them go all out. So when people try to put admirals in the fight All cards are not really shown therefore they only go by what they've seen which is not really much

Well to clarify all the admirals are kinda like in high A or S tiers but I think the list is ranking admirals among themselves separately aside from the rest of the world.
Similarly as Big mom was definitely not C tier in the Yonko tier list. She is clearly a mid to high S tier character in terms of strength but among all the yonkos or other pirates some may rank her lower.
One piece top 5 are somewhat almost neck to neck and you can arrange them however as we haven't seen them fighting one another yet.

One thing about One Piece: Don't expect a battle Shonen like Naruto or Bleach. One Piece is much more an adventure comedy, which is why you may be finding it slower early on.

So if you kick or punch him for example your entire limb would become ice and freeze and if you dont jump back immediately your body gets frozen a split second later as well. He is still a logia so he cant take damage without haki but there is one downside, you can still touch him. idk if you'd want to though. But yea he'd also just reform if shattered. most logia's reform if their original element body is shattered or split apart or whatever else. So for example lets say he has human durability and you nuke him and the ice pieces get disintegrated or fly off to who knows where, he could just spawn back. He just presses respawn.
Side note because Aokiji's dope as shit and i wanna tell you one of his feats. My guy put his fingers in the water and flashfreezed an entire continents worth of water for over a week. Aokiji's goated
7:20 well depends on if were talking old Rayleigh or prime. Old Rayleigh is WAY weaker, he stopped training and has retired. Prime Rayleigh though should be comparable to Roger, the pirate king, as he was his right hand man and in one piece right hand mans are almost always close to their captains in strength. Roger was one of the strongest characters in the series so you can imagine that Rayleigh as his right hand man was right below him in strength. In terms of solid feats we only have a couple really like him stopping a young Marco with one finger and him fighting for 3 days with the whitebeard crew and still chilling with not a scratch on him.

Kizaru for example is as literal as possible a light man. For example hes been shot before while not paying any attention and the bullets go through him as if hes light....because he is. People have tried to stab him even while in his human looking form but he acts as light because he is down to his DNA is a light man. So hes not a man who can transform and use light. he IS light. But even if this wasn't the case, his devilfruit is just his base speed. He can still train further as a person or train his devilfruit to be faster. LIghtspeed in one piece is easily achievable by even the weakest of characters. If Kizaru was only lightspeed he'd be getting blitzed by chopper. There's lightspeed feats all the way back in around episode 300 where a severely weakened Zoro dodged like 50 lightspeed attacks in a restricted area back to back. Lightspeed is pretty slow in this verse, anyone can do it.
13:19 Zoan's are animal types, Logias are elements and Paramecias are everything else. Its kinda the class where you dump everything that doesnt fit under the name Zoan and Logia.

Kizaru is effortlessly light speed, his devil fruit is the light fruit, when he eats it, he is light, and he’s human, kizaru’s base effortless speed is light speed, however dfs can be trained to be stronger, on top of haki and the fact that physical training is still a thing too

My guy this is a ranking of the admirals powers BETWEEN THEMSELVES, that is why they go on c/b tier, if you scale them compared to the entire one piece verse none of them fall even close to B tier (even the weakest in this list scales much higher)
