Thank you for this! It helped me get the color back perfectly. However, when I export from the deliver tab, for some reason the color transform space is lost. It looks great on the timeline and the preview, it's just the final .mov video loses that color transform. I'm completely new to davinci resolve so idk if there is something obvious I need to do. I tried messing with the advanced settings of custom export (color space tag and gamma tag) and I do get different coloration in the export with those, but nothing that matches what i managed to get in the timeline with that CTS node. I also made sure ENable Flat Pass is set to off.
this will interpret the fottage to rec 709, the color will still be lost, specially the gradient of bluish sky... best way to set the timeline to match input HDR

BUT, still there is one hug gap. I very good in balancing video picture/colors over standard iphone tools and I use it a lot. But the same as with default color profiles - Davinci and Premier - just ignored by some reasons those adjustments. It importing video in default quality. How can I import video which is in fact already adjusted. For example when I publish video in Instagram - it publishing in the way I adjusted on phone. Then they question - why Davinci and Premier showing video without those adjustments? And how can I import it with my adjusted preferences? Or maybe how to compile iphone video into final one - so Davinci can import final video I would like to edit in Davinci.

Applied brilliance and after adjusted saturation, vibrancy, sharpness, black point, contrast, shadows, and some times other parameters with standard ios features when clicking Edit on Photo/Video. So after for post production I tried many times to transfer videos from iphone to my mb pro over airdrop. So when I click to preview on mb pro - video is in the same adjusted view as on iphone. But when I importing it into Davinci and Premier - it showing without anything applied on it - the quality is the same as you showing in the video before Color transformation. So my question is how to make video appear the same (after import into Davinci) as I configured on iphone and as it appears in preview over Finder on mac os. If you have any kind of contacts - I could send examples of video or screenshots of what I mean with examples.
For use in other projects, click on video and grab a still. Click on still and export it as a jpg. Then when you want to use the drx open the folder where you saved the still, and import the drx file and that will have your node tree for this.

Hi there, i did this with my video but it made the colour more vibrant. Have you figured out a way to import and it uploads as true colour? If not, Im thinking about getting a different software cause it's driving me nuts! Lol
But still iphone videos are completely blown up with all details they are too bright unless u r watching them on just 6 inch mobile or 14/16 monitor .Try open them on TV android external devvice or embeded on TV you will see difference
This process destroy the quality of the footage. The best solution I found is import clip in imovie, export it. I know it sounds like a joke but it works 100%. You get the same exactly quality and color.

I believe someone just told me If you go into (settings) then click (camera) and then click (format) you select (most compatible)
why didi you choose that output Gamma? I assumed you would use Gamma 2.2 or 2.4. thx
