    • @edconway8599
      @edconway8599 4 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      That’s the record that will be the single hardest to beat because fighters are getting so good it’s just too difficult to defeat the contenders today 12 times. The only division where you could say there is no one good enough for the champ is women’s bantamweight and Nunes has a long way to go(not disrespecting Johnson’s opposition he fought some really good guys he was just on another level)

    • @Tenchigumi
      @Tenchigumi 4 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      It's sad because everyone shat on the flyweight division for "not being a draw," but I don't think that was due to a lack of talent or entertainment. For the longest time, the UFC shoved all flyweight fights onto the prelims, so basically no one could see flyweights unless they came to the arena super early or had Fight Pass (which is like, what, 1% of the MMA fandom?). We had TONS of smart-asses talking shit about "no-name" flyweights when they had literally never seen a non-title flyweight bout, so by the time these "no-names" fought for the strap, they looked like faceless jobbers fighting an "overrated" DJ when, in reality, they were world beaters like Cejudo and Horiguchi. Now Cejudo's the BW champ, and Horiguchi was an ultra-dominant multi-organization champ. The talent is there. The UFC marketing is not, and it's a damn shame that they had to drop the ball during DJ's time.

      Maybe if a guy in the blue corner pull a similar strike at 2s and the opponent fall close to the ref(because, if the guy in the red corner gets the KO, the oponent will fall a little bit far from the ref, which will take 2 or 3 seconds to stop the fight), maybe it can be broken, but it needs too many circunstances to happen, so I agree it's very unlikely to be broken

    I think Nunes or Valentina can break both Anderson and DJ's records, I don't see no one at womens 135, or 125 beating them at the moment. As long as they keep defending the belt, I think they got a good chance of breaking those records

    Khabib was on his back and did some voodoo and got up and then....They most torturous slams I have ever seen lol
    (I really think Khabib had his pride hurt a bit...He knows that shouldnt happen...but it did.

    This video only shows how wild of a sport MMA is and I'd love to see this video reviewed. Max demolished his own record against Kattar on his own, Pavlovich and Aspinall are currently on pace to beat the shortest average fight time, if Nunes didn't lose to Pena the first time she would have beaten Anderson's reign, Glover managed to become champ at 42 (2nd all time), Stephens has left the UFC and Guida, Miller and Arlovski are still active and 1, 2 and 3 losses away respectively, and Sam Alvey went 9 fights without a win (1 draw) while Tony has sadly tied BJ for 7 losses in a row and hasn't been cut. That's 6 of the 10 records that have either been beaten already, on pace to be beaten, or came way closer to being beaten than we would have thought just 3 years after this was released.

  • @T-Ron

      The GOAT DJ oustruck and outmaneuvered the king of cringe Henry Cejudo, he beat Cejudo albeit in a narrow margin. It's just that those two stupid judges screwed DJ and stole his title for Cejudo, and the UFC was fed up with him being the champ for a very long time, and they probably wanted another champ to see if that new champ could sell more PPVs than DJ.

    • @VladTaltos01
