He got several title shots. Unfortunate events just kept happening every single time. And instead of demanding the fight and just waiting for it he kept fighting other fighters out of ego. It’s understandable but in hindsight not the best decision.
Masvidal had a great year but now that he’s in the top at welterweight if he fights either usman or covington he’s gonna get worked very badly so I assume he’s praying for a mcgregor fight before that happens
