I purchased this bike last year (Aug 23). Gear shifting is too hard. Clutch is also very hard. Palm will pain too much in heavy traffic. Pillion seat is too high. Its just like second floor. Leave women, even gents also feel difficult to sit on pillon seat. Good things are built quality, 6 gears, wide tyres, decent mileage (38-40 km/L), weight, good in long rides. If USD forks, slipper clutch, traction control, are there , it will justify the price (2.45 L). I request Suzuki should work on pillion seat hight, clutch and smooth gear shifting. Suzuki also should launch family bikes with single long seats.
I have this beast. I am lucky to have this one. I have taken test drive of KTM 250 , Mt 15, cb300f, apache 200 , hunter 350 and gixxer 250. And finally I choose this bike. I can tell pros and cons. Pros: smoothest engine among in 250 cc. No vibrations Good mileage No heating Reliable and durable. Cons: only cons I found that suspension could have better but that does not bother me because 99.99 percent I am riding on good roads. Some other points Looks are subjective that does not bother me Breaks are average not the best not worst

I have 2021 Gixxer 250. Very reliable and frugal. Good aftersales and services too if you have taken extended warrenty. Bike is good after 6000 rpm, very responsive. Good for low speeds too. Looks bland,like a block of black plastic which is its biggest weakness. Better in most aspects with its competitors in the 250 segment. Ramp up the brakes by exchanging the master cylinder for a better sharp bite or else ok if you like progressive braking. I have done 24000 kms, so i know.
The bike is good, probably would have been a hit, if they priced it in a good range. Because when it was released, the only competitors were ktm Duke 250, and yamaha fz 25. Now, under 2 lakhs, there are plenty of good bikes. N250, f250, ns200 new update, ns400z, hero mavrick 440. Although gixer has a good engine, the bike does not have any high technology as per the price.
I always loved Suzuki bikes but, there are so many value for money bikes in Market compared to cost of this bike. We got Honda Cb300F which has 300cc engine at 2.10 lakhs something, Hero Karizma XMR 210 at 2.10 lakh, Pulsar Ns200, N250, F250 and believe me, I didn't use to prefer Bajaj bikes, but NS400Z has become my personal favourite now😂. Suzuki needs to really improve there game, else they won't survive Indian Bike market. Scooter market, may be they'll survive, but Indian brands definitely are improving there game with every launches 🥳
N250 price motabek achcha hai. Gix250 overpriced. Both bikes dekhne inka chote bhai jaisa. Agar, koi looks ko prioritize karta hai toh unko liye Gix250 thik hai. Price ka segment se agar judge kare toh ns400z behtar hai🎉 NS400z ka mileage, after sales service, spare parts availability sab dik se achcha hai.
To be honest, looks is very pathetic. Side profile looks bad too. Only the front look is acceptable. Colour schemes are bad too. I would suggest people not to get one. As suzuki engines mi8 be reliable but after sale service is not great either. Just skip it for 2.3L and get NS400z at same price.
