Many people say that the engine feels gruff at a certain rpm, may be at 6k rpm and also some people say that the engine loses its smoothness if we continuously ride for more than 1 hour or two hours on highways at higher rpms, is it the that way ? What's your take ?
for me it hits at around 4k to 5k rpm mostly on 2nd and 3rd gear..i can feel the vibration specially on the foot peg. I guess every bike has this on a certain RPM.For my bike It happens Most between 5K Km to 10k KM. and after that the vibration reduce..Its not a big problem. regarding the loss of smoothness. Havent experience it yet on those hour😁. Sometimes I use to ride all day mostly in High rpm.. Maybe a litte at those times.

If you lean more to touring.. vstorm will be better in my opinion, it will still have the same smooth engine. And Even for inside the city ride its still a great bike.
As of now no major issues with the bike so that parts required are mostly brake Pads, chain etc. the small things. So, quite managabe with the spare parts. Servicing here in Hyderebad i will give 5/10 never satisfied with the service specially cleaning.
