Spencer - I'm 64 years old and have been watching your channel for a long time. You've said that your not an experienced builder, but have done incredible work. You gave me the courage to build 450' of fencing to keep in my pack of 11 dogs. Yesterday, we completed the fencing project that started with a dream 3 years ago. But due to lack of funding couldn't start until 2022. In 2023 I got the rest of the funds and built the last 300' in 3 months. I can't tell you the emotional high of getting the project done, the appreciation to those who helped me get it done and see it though. And you for giving me the courage and will to dream for something I thought I could never do or get done. Thank you so much!
Congratulations!
Neat story! Congratulations!
Wow!! That’s awesome 👏🏾 😊
He does make it look easy. Way to stick with your dream knowing it wouldn’t be!
👌👍
May you two never lose your ability to laugh together. It is truly heartwarming 🥰
Love it!!!!! That is so neat ❤
How are you going to do the ceiling now
@@lindadavidson4140 With wood as stated in previous videos.
For a guy who had little to no construction experience a few years ago, you certainly are a fine craftsman now. I enjoy how precise you are with everything you build.
I love the sound of your children in the background. Life is beautiful.
Beau trying to get her "business" started already and Cam's sweet "Momma" ❤ You have more family than you even know! Love watching them grow up!
The music at the end of the video is beautiful but makes my heart clinch because I always want “more time” with this phenomenal family! These two are made for each other and their kids are the most adorable and I just love the life they’re building (literally 😉) Love to the wonderful family from a devoted grandmother in Texas. ❤😊
I feel the same way…..when the ending music comes it makes me happy-sad!🥹🥹🥹❤
This pair of nutters were the first couple I ever watched, I fell in love with them within 5 mins and have adored them ever since, they have a little piece of my heart and the children I would babysit anytime, and squish them and snuggle them and have a mummy nibble and yeah probably suck their chins 😂, I hope you mamma's know exactly what I'm talking about. All my love to you both always xxx❤
I feel your comment. 🎶 I am the same way!! 😂❤ Also, a grandmother in Texas! 🇨🇱
You and me both!!!
All I can think of is the precious moments and memories the little ones will have! It truly warms my heart and soul!😊
Came for the shipping container, stayed for the spectacular eyelashes. 👁
😂😀
Tip for the storage compartment at the bunk bed. Make a fabric bag that you can hang in it. Easier to empty the "bin". I also made that for a large storage chest.
Fantastic bed!
The children are asking questions already because they are all grown up and is aware of their surroundings !!!Amazing 💜🥰
May you two never lose your ability to laugh together. It is truly heartwarming
Spencer! The container converter, plumber, electrician, carpenter, fabricator, welder, painter, designer and cabinet maker! Wow I love this channel!
Don’t forget great daddy
If I were a child and my dad built me a 3 layer bunk bed I would be ecstatic like your two little older ones. The wee babe doesn't understand yet but she will soon enough. Always crawling up on the low bed once moving freely.
Glad I’m not the only one whose kid keeps asking questions! She’s 3 1/2 and has been in her why phase for long time now!
I consider it a blessing if a child asks a lot of questions. It means they’re always thinking and trying to understand the world around them and I think this will benefit them throughout their life.
Spencer, how good you are at creating and building something for the container. Mackenzie, is always there to bring a smile to everyone's face. If the move is done before your next video, I hope all goes well without any problems
love from Mike. ❤
That inch worm was helping checking your
measurements. 🌧 Rain or 🌞Shine you get it done. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just love the convo under the tent in the rain…..much different than what would be romantic a few years back lol
Been following since the beginning! ❤Just love this sweet family🥹
You guys are made the same to each other. Your channel was the first one I had seen. Happy beautiful, lovely family.
Yup..this channel got my you tube journey started...love it
I’m confused. Are you selling your first house when you move to the mountains?
@@MrsStewart1953 I think they said they are going to have a retreat in the mountains, but it would be cool to see them build a homestead. I think the mountain home is in TN and their container home is in TX, and I just cannot imagine they would enjoy living with inbred types
Looking so good and it will be so great to move that container to the mountains where you have that property for it. Have a blessed and beautiful day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 🙏👍💜💜💜
I slept in a bunk bed as a child. The upper bunk had a removable finished wooden horizontally mounted long board that prevents falling out of bed at night. It saved my bacon one early evening as I was goofing off in the top bunk and fell out head first. On the way down my foot got caught on the safety board thus preventing me from cracking my noggin on the floor. I did get rescued by a family member. That was almost sixty years ago. 😅
I know it sucks to work in but so happy to see rain this summer for y’all. Better than worrying about having enough water. Especially with three little ones. Good job. Happy y’all be able to go to the mountains soon. I know y’all love it.
You’re so close to 1.5M👏🏼 We solved the end of bed cubby “where things go to die” problem by filling it with books for bedtime, Can’t wait to see the beds done.
Considering how your family has grown you still haven't compromised on your tiny home lifestyle. Your kicking it for all your worth keep going.
Good job my man. Nice to see the children and my all the questions they ask. They are very bright. Xx
When I was a child (I'm 80 now) with 6 siblings my parents built bunk beds for all us kids. We were so excited to each have our own bed. This video brings back happy memories! Your channel is the best!!
Laughter fills your home and family ~ what a joy to watch! Good luck on all your endeavors! 😀
Oh dear...I haven't been here in a long while. Baeu is all grown and the brother, who was about to he delivered then is all grown too. I have missed a lot. But always wonderful to watch you guys and your progress ❤
Your daughter's adorable questions...
Miss those days with my kids. They grow so fast. ❤
I want that bunk bed system for my grandsons!! Perfect cubbies for books!❤️
Just seeing you have a shot out your window at your work station under that 10X10 pop up canopy. I will hound you forever about you having a 2 shipping container work shed there. As I said, as a union ironworker. We had just that set up on my last 10 years on the job at power houses. We ate 50 Ton lifts for breakfast. We always had around the job site several duel side by side shipping containers spread out by about 20' or what ever is needed, with a roof over head. Some metal and some made out of wood rafters. Most of the metal ones were inside to inside. But most of the wood rafter ones were outside to outside, which is what all the carpenters sheds were. That keeps all the containers covered and cooler from the sun baking them. Trust me as you know, those things get baking hot. Put a roof over them and reduce the heat by 30 degrees or more. Add a door on each one inside the shed for access in the middle of the container. Tin roof on top. BAM, you have a work shed that you never have to worry about the weather. And storage in the containers that keeps all your material dry. Build shelving inside each container to fit your needs.
Just think, you could store all your sheet rock vertically in a rack. All your tools on shelving. Nails and screws in a separate bin. 2X4's and such on like a 4' spread support so they do not warp. Housing for your E-bike and countless other items all in the dry. A battery charging station mounted on the wall.
Not to mention a 20' X 40' under cover work shop that you can set up with table saw, radial arm saw, drill station, huge work table, any thing you want. All in the DRY !!!!!
On the open ends of the shed, the carpenters would build out an enclosure on each end. But they also installed a double door system in the enclosure build out on each end for access big enough for a forklift to bring in material or in your case, a tractor. We could not be shut down by rain or heat. Rain was not a problem with this set up. Heat was still there outside, but think what it is like in direct sunlight. 20 or 30 degrees hotter. I know, I have worked in these shipping container sheds. Had my men and me working in these shipping container sheds in 90 degree plus days ever day during the summer. Roof over the containers mad the difference. Difference between doing our job and sweating a lot or having heat stroke since all of our bolts for the job are stored in those containers.
If you do this you will be SO HAPPY !!!!!!! A lot of work, but end product is worth ever drop of sweat. Like heaven on earth !!!!!
Need details, shoot me a message. LOVE YOU GUYS, HAVE SINCE DAY ONE. Remember sitting in that car and hopping for 1 K subscribers? ROCK ON !!!!
A beautiful family earning their way through life inspiring bless this family
I love watching you be goofy both of you and your children asking questions that may seem silly. Cherish those questions because before you know it those children will be all grown up. When you make people laugh that is a good sign, for you cheer many up that otherwise do not have that. So, stay safe, warm/cool, and blessings.
I have been on TH-cam 5 1/2 years. But I have not been so successful as you have been. You guys are awesome. Everyone watches your programs because of the content and the way you presented and the loving way you and your family get together and have fun together and work together. Your kids are going to grow up to have the same attitude as the two of you excellent! This is what family truly is! Thank you so much until next week
Hi guys, I'm your fan since you two moved to your present place. Now you got 3 wonderful kids.....and still so sweet to each other. Keep it up and likewise on your very high quality of workmanship.
Looking forward to see you guys enjoying your property in the mountains.....God bless...
Have watched you guys from the beginning! Having built two homes myself I am impressed with your skills. However, while I run a table saw without all of the safety junk that comes with it, please use a push stick when cutting boards. It can go south quickly. Ask me how I know!
Ive watched from beginning also
I got a kick out of all the "where did ... " questions from your son. He reminded me so much of my daughter at that age 😊 I thoroughly enjoy you guys personalities and bantering back and forth with each other. I loved Kinzie's comment - "you are essentially building a trash can" 😉 I laughed out lound at that one. Spencer, you are a perfectionist (to which I can totally relate and identify) and you always have the target of "perfect" in both your design and execution. I know it may drive Kinzie, and possibly even you, crazy once in a while 🤪 , but it is so very worth it! Your methodical approach and craftsmanship are admirable and a joy to watch. I too believe if you are going to take the time to do it, do it right and well. Have a great week and I'll see you on the next one. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Awesome job on the bunk beds ✌️😎
Great idea with the cover over the saw, haha. I gotta do that!
My children are just past that age ... And when he said mamma I just about lost it... 😢 So cute
I was just about to say your kids ask a lot of questions but then 2 seconds later, you took the words out of my mouth.
The container is looking great. I am sure you by now you have already ship this container I pray that all your hard work did not get damaged with the structure you removed to create the beauty. Keep up all the great work and content. Love you guys.
We miss seeing your dog IO❤
Yeah, What happened I wonder? Snake?
@@OFCbigduke613 Way too many snakes for me....
@@OFCbigduke613 Was wondering the same.
I literally thought the same, i wonder what happened to IO 🐶
They need to let us know about io 😢
Your love is inspiring ❤
Those cubbies are the perfect size for books!
Hello Everyone, you are doing very well there with your Cabin. Your Family is so beautiful and your work. God Bless you all.
We have seen Bear...but we have missed IO. Where is he?😢
😪
I have been watching this channel since before you had children and now you have three beautiful ones. You two have come so far. Love the journey.❤❤❤
Was the snake alive? I just adore all of you. The kids are precious. Can’t wait to see it in the mountains
I always worry that the kids will stumble upon a snake when they're outside playing. That would horrify me to know that there were that many snakes on the property.
So many questions. He’s a sponge absorbing information.
You cold make your bed a pull down one then you have the extra space for day time things xx
Uh oh 😮Didn’t they have 2 dogs?
A little clamp light mounted to the cubbies for books. Nice.
I sure needed the eyelashes laughs this morning. THANK YOU
You guys are the best. The children are adorable and big.
Nice job. Looking do good. Kids will love that little space of their own.
Great idea for little bins!! Kids will love them..
Thanks family for sharing the new episode, great! It's almost time to see it fully in use. 👍👍
Great job Spencer 👏,
An idea to paper to production to assembly. Making changes along the way and it's looking really good 👍.
I see bear, where is the other dog?
I fear that something happened to Io, (pronounced “EYE-oh”), and that they haven’t mentioned it to keep sad things out of their videos. My guess.
What happened to Bear's little buddy?
Your are so close to transport! Great job on the beds! This is exciting!❤
Life should be about family and living simplified. AMEN....Staying positive and continuing to inspire those watching gives people hope. Love your channel.
What about just having lids for the cubbies that just sit in place or perhaps use some small magnets to hold it in place. Need to make sure that the platform is supported in at least 3 places. The kids will try and stand up on the beds and possibly jump. Overengineering is never a bad thing when it comes to kid stuff. Laying a rubber mat like what is used to keep tool boxes organized on the platform under the mattress will keep it from sliding around. The rails can be made of gas pipe material so when the time comes they can be easily removed.
Yes it does bother me too, maybe because my dad was a carpenter ? Love guys. Beautiful children. Congrats on all your achievements.❤️
You are doing a great job. A highly anticipated way point to a worth while journey is close at hand. 👍🙏
I love this all the kids have a bed
Excited for the move of the container to the land 🎉
Piano hinge with rounded corner on the back, so it can open.
I cant believe I been watching you guys for 4 years haven't missed one video 😂
Just an FYI with bunk beds "THE BEDDING TO GET" is "Beddy's"!!! My life would have been so much better if there were "Beddy's" when I was raising a large family. You can find them online. ♥♥♥♥♥
Spencer is so cute when you asked if they wanted to go for a walk, so sweet when he said momma. adorable.
LOL Kids, always, ask a lot of questions !!!
Hi guys, thanks for the video always enjoy watching. You guys have fun even in some bad situations. Yours have a lot of fun , I lost all my eyebrows when I was in a coma for 29 days and I’ve never grown back. How weird is that , Cliff from Australia
Was that Cam asking all those questions? So cute. I think the bunk beds are looking fantastic! Great work. I love that the donkeys have “best friends “ (adorable, plus I love donkeys 🥰) and I think you great eyelashes Spencer, and so does Mamacita❤️✌🏻
It's a king snake. They eat the venomous snakes. Great to have around.
Love following their awesome stories. I'm not their parents but I'm proud of them
Just think Spence and Mac. In 15 years you can say, son/daughter go fix that for the old man or mom. Until then, you both do great work. Love watching and watching the family grow. Just keep in mind, if your family keeps growing. You are going to have to make your shipping container house a 2 story !!!!!!! LOL !!!!!!
Hey what happened to the smaller dog??? IO? I think his name is?
So cool. Bunks are the stuff of legends and the kids will make so many great memories! Almost thought it would have needed to be a triple bunk though 😅
Spencer You Are A Hard Working Family Man. Enjoyed Watching Your Videos Love To Your Wife & Children. Greetings From Southern California. ❤️🙏❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Pencil is typically easier to remove than ink when used to mark wood.
Thank you ❤
The little storage space would be great for books
Hi guys, been watching since the beginning, not episode after episode...but try to catch up with yall.... love your dog, such a freindly face, good demeanor, etc. Anyway amazing progress youve made, good luck and god bless all of yall.
Like your two younger children, I would be overjoyed if my father had constructed me a three-tiered bunk bed when I was a child. Although the little baby doesn't understand now, she will in due course. Once free to move, always crawling up on the low bed.
What happened to your other puppy??? I never see him now. Hopefully, he wasn't bitten by a rattler?
Great job 👍🏽beds looks very nice 👏🏽👏🏽
Hi, the mountian house is coming along nicely.cant wait to see what the kids put in those boxes you built. The headboard boxes could hold a extra blanket for winter.
Keep laughing and working together. God bless and keep you guys.🐶⚘🤗
Great work! Spencer- please get some sort of out-feed table set up for your table saw, and use a push block!!
Your family needs you for the long haul and you would not be able to keep building like you do if there’s a serious accident.
Hello 🤗 I love your interaction & kidding around💖 Spencer, the bunk beds with cubbies are awesome - kids will love them 😉
Doing such a good job nice work
Have y’all thought about making a very super swingset with a slide and all it maybe in above ground pool not a real deep one but above ground deep enough for everyone to enjoy and then just keep a cover on top of it to keep the snakes out? That would be a great place to go whenever it gets hot there make sure the babies always have their tubes on and make sure they learn how to swim.?
Hopefully their planning ahead for how fast the kids will grow, need room and the kids will want their own bedrooms at some point !
It still amazes me that Spence still wears his beloved VANS doing all the construction 😮I’m thinking about wearing a protective boot 🤗
Another wonderful video, but did something happen to IO in the mountain and your waiting for when the container gets there, to show us or give us more insight of what happened.
God bless the family! Really enjoy watching the work 😊
Glad they are doing well, I am having trouble paying property taxes with my social security. I’m OUT!
Asking tons of questions is a sign of intelligence ❤
Love the bunks!
