Went thru P.I. 39 years ago this summer. Spent 4 years as a grunt. If the drill instructors did not kick my ass around the squad bay at least twice a day i was worried that they didn't love me anymore. Anyhow, you marines of today do have your shit together, smarter, faster, bigger, better training and equipment than i ever had. Now when i say smarter don't get to swollen headed, you still joined the marines. could of gone Air Force and been in the rear with the gear. Good luck gentlemen, remember someone has to stand the watch....

These videos always make me wonder if just maybe I could’ve got through Marine boot camp. 🤔😳 🤷♂️ (And, I lived in Florida, so I’d have gone to Parris Island, boys & girls! 🥵🦟🐍🐊😱🤣)

They said “we won’t give up on you even if you given up on yourself” when my SDI give me a squad leader and another DI hate me so much he told me to quit cuz There no way he gonna lemme be a squad leader so I asked to quit being squad leader which another DI was like “you can’t quit cuz if your squad leader died in the battle field you be the next one to become a squad leader” and this happened back and forth until I made the DI that told me not to quit to fire me himself and when I quit every single one of my DI laugh and said “HELL YEA”
