The most inspiring recording of this concert I found on TH-cam.

Beautiful interpretation, congratulations to all! What subtleties, what delicate and internalized sounds, great. Thank you for the music!

Heerlijke uitvoering op deze geweldige pianoforte, minimaal gelijkwaardig aan Jos Van Immerseel . Bravo mevrouw Biesemans, u bezorgt mij hiermee een geweldige dag.

Such an engaging performance of this often neglected concerto! I'm hearing details in the phrasing I've never noticed before! Brava!

To my ears Mozart is inventing Romanticism here ..

If indeed this concerto is neglected (is it?), nonetheless it is often considered to be Mozart's first truly great work in any genre.
Hearing it as it ought to sound is a tremendous pleasure!

The music sounds more intimate with the chamber group standing and surrounding the piano. A beautiful performance.

OMG, this performance is perfect example of using rhetoric in playing! I'm amazed by your playing, thank you so much for this!

Such a wonderful performance of an amazing concerto on the instrument for which it was composed. Beautifully played, so pleasant and enjoyable to listen to! Mozart would be pleased, I know I am. Thank you for posting this and allowing us to experience this when we need to the most, (I know I miss attending performances such as this during these times). Cheers and be safe!

This is a wonderful interpretation. It is one of those pieces that simply stands alone. Mozart never composed anything like it again. It's as though it wrote itself and Mozart put his name to it.

The Fortepiano sounds more like a stringed instrument. The sound is simple compared to a more common piano. That gives a certain beauty especially with the historically correct reenactment of the composer's context. My background is more of low brass. I had some piano instruction. I just recently learned of the fortepiano and the history. I hope to see more of the revitalization of the potential of the fortepiano. There is definitely a world of rediscovery due for the fortepiano.

Bravo.

Thanks for uploading! Great playing as well as on a Paul McNulty piano copy of Walter which fits the period. Is it the Walter und Sohn one?

I am so happy you like it! Thanks a lot for your comment. Yes, it is the Walter & Sohn type with 5.5 octaves.

Thanks so much for posting these wonderful performances! (And thanks for providing time-stamps for the individual movements.)
Is it just me, or is the piano unusually Stein-y sounding for a Walter copy? (To me it sounds even more like a Stein in the Clementi concerto, if that's the same instrument.)

El pianoforte suena ESPANTOSO.....Es una ofensa al GRAN WOLFGANG interpretar el glorioso 9 en este cajón de frutas que suena a "arpa mal afinada"!!!!!!!
    Pianista y orquesta ,VIRTUOSOS!!!!!

I'd say beautiful sensitive yes. but 🙂 was Mozart here so serious? I think you can make a different performance too emphasizing humor and contrasts more and still using from time to time sensitivity and beauty to for a contrast. Compliments to all of you. Onno Nugteren the Netherlands.

Interpretação romântica embora usados instrumentos de época. Válida a tentativa de recriação da obra. Nada de mais do mesmo. Singular. Pessoal. BRAVO!!!

Too many liberties of tempo taken by the soloist in tutti sections. Many of them should be saved for solo and cadenza sections. Otherwise, a beautiful performance with gorgeous ensemble sound.

I couldn't disagree more: thank goodness for fortepianos. I would accept a performance on a Steinway if tuning is well-tempered, not bland equal.
