Thanks for the adventure Love the heater set up and plastic tub cover What a totaly different adventure in the snow Seeing the Trailhawk do this gives me more 'confidence' that I can in my stock 2017 JK , I'm a big chicken and I travel alone :) Awesome drone view of the resevoir I was just wondering if you ever do any rescues and then I saw it.... Again... thanks for the adventure Matt Hudson Valley, NY
Darkside Off-Road Yes I live in Dutchess County. It is nice to see places where I can go off roading and camping. I have a m416 trailer with a roof top tent ready to go!!! (And the diesel heater for the winter!)
So that's only exposed because the reservoir is lowered for the winter season. During summer there's no more than a 6ft gravel ring and the water is up to the tree line. It's just for winter fun ❄
I am in Buffalo, patiently awaiting my Bronco order, and am curious what groups/social media platforms there are for our area that you get your meetup and events information from
Without digging out my ANF map, was this up around Tracy Ridge or Red Bridge somewhere? I ask because at about 18:00 I see blue blazes on the trees like it’s North Country Trail.
Hey there, I have all the roads listed in the descriptions of my videos so you can plug them into the map site/tool of your choice and go from there. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the adventure

Awesome, thank you! 🙏
Also from Buffalo, and can’t wait to get down there with my gladiator. Love the videos!
It’s the best spot. Amazing that it’s so close to home. 🙌
Nice to see videos about new york.
“Near NY” 😉 right in our backyard!

Nice to meet you out Gordon! Loved seeing the Ranger cut the trails too 🤘
@@DarksideOffRoad Same!!
Love the ANF coverage. Can't wait to get back out there and hit some trails this summer.
Thanks! My favorite place 🫶
Facebook group is WNY Overland.
Awesome! Not too sure about sleeping in a tent when 8 degrees out : ) Thanks for sharing!
The diesel heaters are a wonderful thing.
Getting down to that lakeside location would be fantastic during the summer months...I am sure y'all take advantage of that.

@@DarksideOffRoad Glad to hear your lakes fill up out East, things are a little low on this side of the country unfortunately.
I'd like to tell you about 14 years on TH-cam with sub-minimal effort and 149 subs to show for it! Congrats, brother!
Ha thanks Red!

The WNY Overland, Tri-State Overland, and Central PA Overland Facebook groups are great!
Don’t forget to update the deer tracker!
Definitely up to eleventy-billion deer now I think.
Can anyone join this trips?
Looked like a great time! We may need to put the ANF on our Fall destination list. Or our observation point for next year’s solar eclipse!
It won't let you down.

Yep a bunch of this is near red bridge.
Great video! I’m planning a trip up there this weekend, I was wondering if any forest roads like these would still be open this time of year? Thanks!
The forest roads are open year round. Trails are usually open, but sometimes gated depending on the season for weather management or wildlife reasons.
@@DarksideOffRoad Thank you! Keep up the great videos!
what is that heater ?
I have a Vevor 5kwr diesel heater. Game changer.
Planning to go there next month, can I get the coordination to entrance on this trail please, and very nice video I enjoyed watching it
