    Thanks for sharing
I like that 2nd spot you scouted along the river.
Love the soup... have you considered a dutch oven instead of the skillet? Both of cast iron.
I'm in Orange Cnty NY so this area is in my backyard, so to speak. My kids went to school in Oneonta and Delhi so I'm very familiar with the paved roads but never thought to 'venture' out. Roscoe Diner is the BOMB!!!
I drive a stock 4-dr JK 2017 and look forward to exploring the area you present.
Have you taken a look at the NEBDR sections 1 & 2? You were certainly on some portions of it in your travels.
My goal for this spring is to hit some of it.
Maybe we can make something work...

@imspartacvs Greatly appreciate you watching. I Definitely like the Dutch Oven. I try to grab one or the other for my trip based upon the planned meals. Glad you like the soup as it is a favorite. I’m in OC as well, by West Point. Cheers to the kids in College! My two are HS age and going fast. I need to try the Roscoe Diner…. I’ve been saying this for too many years. Also, Check out my new NEBDR series. I am working on the edit for Section 2 right now. Let me know if you’re looking to get out and test those tires? Always looking to share the journey. Thanks for watching and please subscribe. I am trying to make this a Full Time gig with a little income. Cheers!

Beautiful area! We would definitely be interested in spending a few weeks throughout New York State. My wife is from Troy and my sister lives in the Watertown region. I have always enjoyed the scenery of that state. I really enjoyed the history you incorporated and look forward to more. Thank you for bringing us along!

Thank you for watching. It’s a beautiful region and you definitely should make plans to visit. I hope to do an Adirondacks and Finger Lakes trip to share a as well in the spring.

NYCer that overlands here. I can never find spots like this in the Catskills! Wish i knew where this was and where i could find dispersed camping! Very nice filming and scouting of spots, pleasure to watch.

Greatly appreciate you viewing and subscribing. As with many of these places, you just jump in with a group on a trip and you get introduced to something new. I promised everyone a long time ago that I would not share spots in social media and I still think that’s the way to go. Honestly, finding new places is sort of the adventure. Get out and explore.

This was awesome. Got me thinking of selling my bikes, getting another Jeep, and moving back to the area!

Thanks for the comment. LOL! This is hilarious as I am now thinking of selling my Jeep to get an adventure bike. I do love the area, but the winters are a little rough. Cheers! Enjoy the fall.

@@StormKingExpedition Keep the Jeep, get a small bike for the trails. The big GSA is great for adventure touring , not so much for BDRs. I miss a good cold, snowy winter!

Beautiful area. The Catskills and Adirondack’s are on our list of places to go and camp!

Thank you for watching. You will definitely enjoy both. If I had to pick one, the Adirondacks have a little more to offer. Especially in the Lake George and Lake Placid areas.

Hey I live down the road from the neversink dam. Found this video trying to find spots I can take my power wagon overlanding

Hey Thanks for checking out my video. You live in a beautiful area and I have family in the area that I’ve been visiting since I was a kid. I would cautiously recommend the NEBDR. It does get a bit narrow at some points, so travel with caution with your size truck. Checkout my NEBDR SERIES ON SECTION 1-3. Thanks for subscribing.

@@StormKingExpedition ill definitely check it out, man and I appreciate you pointing out the size of the truck. I've had trouble even thinking of some spots most guys do because of the size but I really can't imagine going smaller haha. The new 4runners do look nice though

      @StormKingExpedition  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I hear ya on having the Full size pick up. @SonosAzai They are so comfortable and do 95% of everything we need. I admittedly have said many times that my Jeep feels way too small compared to my other truck.
Let me know if you are planning something, I will try and meet up if I am off from work.

I live in the very most north eastern corner of NJ. 5 miles from the TZB. I’m a normal middle age family guy that is a carpenter by trade and have enjoyed off-roading, at and dirt bikes. I recently got a Jeep Wrangler for a couple reasons but one of the main reasons is my buddies and I don’t really have the time anymore to get together and do trips like this. If you are ever going off-roading or can recommend a place to go in the Catskills please let me know. I’m clueless of where to go. We use to rent homes in east Jewitt / Hunter and we would ride there but it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to roll in those spot. Please keep me in mind if you have any recommendations or are looking for company. This probably sounds like the most bizarre message but I’m just being real. Thanks for the video. It looks like a great time and 👍👍on the editing

Hey Kevin, I appreciate the message and completely get the comment. Congrats on the Wrangler. One word of advice, don’t throw money at it, they are super capable just as they come.
I started a new job early this spring and went from doing many trips to nothing. Unfortunately my schedule is off Sundays and usually Wednesdays and Thursdays. This has kept me from planning weekend overnight trips with friends. I have also now got the WANT A BIKE bug after doing sections 1-3 on the NEBDR.
I have been looking to hit these trails again and would definitely be up for connecting if you have any week day time available or if maybe a Sunday day-trip to get the wheels dirty?
