Kevin Nealon is funny as F!! Love this man!! It's about time he was on!! I hope I see a LOT more of him cuz he makes everything better, especially a bad day!
He was right between the two greats of Weekend Update. He was much better than Colin Quinn for example but had more gaffes than Norm and Dennis put together, to be honest. I started watching in the mid 80's, I didn't really see much of Akroyd or Chase, so I didn't include them in the greats assessment, but oh well. Jimmy Fallon was alright, but it seemed like sometimes he didn't understand the jokes good enough to do them right, a couple times each episode at least, or maybe he was getting baked with Horatio. Tina and Amy both looked and sounded intelligent and were pretty good, but Seth Meyers was so bad it hurt to watch the segment. Recently it's mostly racial "observations" and making fun of the (R) political party by misrepresenting and misquoting it, as if the (D) are somehow the moral authority now because they say it's ok for a 12 Yo to get chemically castrated and are dead serious. These jokes write themselves now, folks..
Today he's making a comeback on Lights Out and stuff, but people forget Kevin was the least funny of the SNL cast during that golden era (1986-1993). Even his takeover of Weekend Update after Dennis Miller left was considered a let-down. I guess the lesson is stick around long enough and everybody becomes a legend.

I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but they each had to portray Jay Leno, at separate times. Jay Leno's chin is so huge, that in order for someone to portray him, they have to get a whole life mask done just to make it look like him. Ok maybe I gave it something at the end there, but you get it
@@tobymcgroby8967 So they were doing a sketch on SNL where they were impersonating Jay Leno? Ok, that would make sense. The way Kevin explained it, I thought they were making a life mask just to be a guest on Leno's talk show. Now I get it. Thanks!
Kevin has a good energy and natural funny as hell.
he's a great story teller - and that freaked me out

That's gonna confuse so many people on so many levels lol
@Jeff B they're not married.
Nealon was a great but unsung host for Weekend Update.
Absolutely. I found him to be one of the funniest WU anchors ever, but nobody seemed to know.

Who knew a mask could go so wrong. I thought they oiled your face first so it won't stick.
I guess you should fast before getting a mask

Why would they need a life mask to go on the Tonight Show? I'm confused.
