Thankyou Diane! - really interesting - looking forward to seeing how these continue to develop. Watching you beat your painting with that big question mark brush makes me smile! 😊 Loving the string/charcoal technique! Is there a limit to the number of layers of oil and wax that you can lay down before it starts to break up or peel off?

It shouldn't break off or peel if on a rigid surface. They can get quite thick.

My God you have a lot of patience. Do you know what technique Gerard Richter uses. I would like to learn how he paints too. Im a franctic artist that creates a big disaster and keeps on working like a maniac. Your stuff turns out to look great. Would love to see more of your art. So thanx for sharing. You really do have patience maybe because you have turned many of these beginnings around. So you see the shapes and kind of make up what they are to be.
