    Love the early 3 series! I spent summers as a landscaper at an amusement park mowing on a early to mid 80s (new at the time) 318. 2 years ago I bought a 1984 430 Diesel and restored it from the frame up back to original with every option. I would never do it again, but if I find the right tractor I will buy it and part it out! These parts are like gold! You didn't show the other side of the blade. There is a pin on the right side lift cylinder bracket that can go in one of two holes. I believe if you put it in the front hole the blade will still lift and float automatically without pushing the lift lever past it's sticking point which is very handy. My 430 will lift the mower and push with the diff locked. I I don't know how well the smaller ones with an open differential with the tractor lifted. Those plows will fit the 322 400 and the 430, the 430 requires a front end extension bracket. Love the content!

    Two questions
    1. I have a 317. I saw a blade that looks the same for sale that was on a 420. Should fit mine right?
    2. Could this be made into a small loader? I think the challenge would to change the hydraulic cylinder for left/right into tilting up.

    Noticing the bracket on the front of the up down cylinder is in a different position than mine was in when I got it. Do you happen to know what the purpose of that is?

    We bought one of these 300’s and it came with the blade but we also want the front end loader any idea on what the easiest way to get more attachments?

    What is the model number for that blade? I am wanting to get a blade like that for my 1982 317.

    I desperately need a video about the slop in the pivot bolt and some of the other bolts that hold the hydraulic pistons to the mount on the plow.

      I think a lot of that is the result of decades of use so some of the holes become worn. You’d have to take it apart to see where the wear is but some solutions could be larger bolts, sleeves, etc…

      @@outdoorpowerhouse awesome thank you for the quick response. This is my first 318 and I got it from a lady who was selling the blower and plow all together. I have used the blower but haven't used the plow yet. I've been doing a lot of reading on forums and the answers are all over the place. Someone posted they have 3 of these same plows and they all have slop so hopefully it's fine or not too bad. Definitely hoping it doesn't have any egg shaped holes. Thanks again for the response! 👍

    I was told this plow could fit on a 1 series to. I have a 1025r so I bought this plow used. What kind of bracket do I need to mount this plow?

    • @outdoorpowerhouse
      @outdoorpowerhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know of no ready made bracket to fit this blade on a 1025R. As far as I know it would be custom.

      There used to be something made years ago called a frame squeezer, but to my knowledge they’re no longer made.

    How do you bleed or presurize the hydraulic for maintenance?

    • @outdoorpowerhouse
      @outdoorpowerhouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure what you’re asking exactly, what situation do you need to do that? When I install the blade, I never have to do anything other than hook it up. Operation will work any air out of the lines.
