The Egyptian Gods are the oldest. I’m surprised they would even put the Norse gods in the same Spectrum as the Egyptians. The Greek stole everything from the Egyptians and the Romans stole everything from the Greeks. The Norse Gods have always been lesser than Egyptians and the Greeks.
With the way Odin and zues act in the mythology I think it would make sense to have them be like 10 feet tall or something, just a bit to differentiate them from everyone else, they are both proud and arrogant.
in the comics, they are both over 6 feet tall, i just dont remember by how much. probably closer to 7 feet. and they can control their molecules, so they could be taller if they wanted.

A showing of that story arc might be neat, but only if they spent multiple phases building it up. More than Thanos because they would need to show & encourage audiences to care about the realms the gods will eventually loose. The reason for this is they would need to show the individual gods as actual heroes. That is real characters with personality flaws & traits that they work on through a Heroes Journey. In addition, the increased number of movies is necessary to establish stakes in dealing with Celestials because they are vastly more powerful than gods. A war would involve significant losses for the gods. Yet without a few phases that showed different worlds, why would the audience care? Why would the audience think the gods would care? That is the key to Hollywood's crutch called exposition. Show instead of tell. Most of an audience will not care or remember exposition. If the director/writer didn't care enough _show_ why the audience should care, then why should they?

As a 40+ year collector of the Marvel Thor comics I found it very cool when Thor had to visit the various Earth pantheons in order to receive a portion of each Godhead's life force in order to resurrect Odin when Odin while inside the uru Destroyer armor was killed fighting the Celestials during their Fourth Host visitation to prevent them from judging mankind. Thor used Mjolnir to collect and contain the various portions of life force until he had enough. Great story line and art.
