@@SameoldPrimaldata True, but Russell Crowe isnt exactly in his gladiator days. If they do resurrect him, they should put him in a new, young body for the future of the MCU. I'd hate to see them introduce Zeus and kill him off for good. He's such a powerful character.
In response to EliasAlucard's optimism: Ethan Hawke's reputation is tarnished by Moon Knight's terrible scripts, most notoriously the fake Chinese, the blatantly villainous, heedlessly written monologues, and the fake-out finale. Vincent D'Onofrio's beloved portrayal of Kingpin in Netflix's Daredevil was reduced to a bumbling second-rate mob boss with previously non-existent superpowers in the Hawkeye series, shamelessly begging for his life in the end. Tom Hiddleston is hanging on by a thread, no thanks to the Loki show's "character arc speedrun", and morally questionable romance with himself from a different universe. Not to mention Jude Law's one-dimensional misogynist in Captain Marvel, Richard Madden's almost-sympathetic Ikaris in Eternals, Tony Leung's bizarrely tunnel-visioned immortal in Shang Chi, and many forgettable villains. Marvel has the money to afford amazing talents, but in recent memory, they have only wasted one good actor after another with no signs of stopping. Christian Bale is a phenomenal method actor, and Taika miraculously revitalized Thor, but I fear not even them can stop Marvel's deep dive into rock bottom.
Oh and a vain God of Mischief falling in love with an other dimensional version of himself. Loki is a narcissist, that actually tracks. Seriously, I get you want attention but trying to shit on things other people like isn't the best way to get it. You don't like it, why you here? And don't give a lazy answer because your commentary shows you never gave ANY OF IT a chance
@@SameoldPrimaldata If by "giving a chance" you mean "to give an overall positive review", you are correct. You are also correct about wanting attention, I do hope to raise awareness of Marvel's failings as only our reactions can help producers realize their mistakes, not blind faith. I made each assessment after watching the entire finished products, I did not bring up the plot inconsistencies and CGI failures, as they are irrelevant to Elias's hopeful comment on Christian Bale's performance. I replied to express my concerns, my trust in Marvel's writers are currently dubious at best. I gave each and every production I mentioned by name a chance to prove their quality, I sat through all the content, only to be disappointed by the lack of substance, and if that still isn't enough, you are asking too much. Remember, I only brought up the misdeeds. There are still many things Marvel has done right, such as fantastic set pieces, but again, they are not relevant to the conversation, hence the overall negative tone. You should stop with the hypocrisy, whether a person likes or dislikes something, they are all free to express their opinions, you cannot invalidate my comment out of spite. I gave facts to back up my objective statements, so did you when you tried to defend Loki (as he is indeed narcisstic, and would be drawn to someone displaying similar ideal qualities). Should I invalidate your opinion simply because you "don't like mine"? Look, we can disagree on things, but I don't say them just to hate them. Unfortunately, seems like you do. Let's be more civil.
@@enochlo9156 lmao, what did I say that was hateful? You aren't bringing attention to anything of anyone but yourself. You are little pissing on some of the Fandom favorite characters, and for what? Your takes were terrible and not well thought out. Not only that you took things people actually complained about(like with Donofrios character(that he was slightly more grounded and not as larger than life as in the comics) and somehow said "it not to the source material" Look the Eternals are trippy, always have been it was one of Kirby's more far fetched creations. Was more front and center with DC and their new gods because of how great a villain Darkseid is. The Wen Wu critique is piss poor, there is no defending it. At all. The Loki Fandom probably already has daggers sharpened for you. Yes flag smasher was an EXTREMELY nuanced character (even more so than the comic villain she was based on) but such a risk, in that context was admirable. Sadly lost on you. Again, nothing I said about the villains was hateful it was an actual honest assessment of the villains, their motivations and their comic sources. Not "I just wanna complain without actually looking at motives, source material, story lines, or character arcs"
The best way of handling this epic storyline is to make it a REAL story instead. What do I mean?? What I mean is that since Thor is obviously here to stay for a while now according to all the evidence, it means that the future of the Thor character has many more miles left to go. So if you want the epic story from the comics, you have to pace it right and in my opinion that cannot be done in just ONE solitary film. This movie is going to start a whole new trilogy for Thor. One which will cover the entirety of the God Butcher story with the God Bomb and everything, including getting alternate versions of Thor to defeat Gorr the God Butcher just like in the comics. So if Marvel is smart, and I think they are, they will use this opportunity to get this storyline PERFECT for the big screen with a full on trilogy covering this story. I think it can be done and I personally think it SHOULD be done that way. Thoughts anyone??
it would be nice but with the M-She-U in effect it wont be the REAL Thor and just some human with Thors powers(which shouldnt exist since the hammer was shattered)
Thanos could be easily handled by Asgard . He hid until Asgard fell. Gorr couldn't care less about Asgard , he totally defeated them I doubt Thor will survive this movie

Marvel’s only answer to expanding the verse without doing too much that they’d regret is making prequel movies for villains after they’ve been defeated or whatever and expanding with other characters related to the past it’s marvel there are over a thousand characters to choose from if we’re being honest Ik this has no relation to the video but I gotta leave this here
Marvel should just make TV series of certain movies and situations like they did with Hawkeye. Again you're welcome.
Now you may stand corrected. 😜
Gorr vs thor would be the best thor fight
In the trailer Valkyrie is fighting Gorr with Zeus' lightning rod so I imagine Gorr killed him. Russell Crow's Zeus character is a one and done most likely.
Nice catch :O
meh, a lot of Earths God's have resurrection clauses. you can bring them back doing some ritual or other. one and done, no resurrected to a younger less experienced version yes.
100% am thinking that Gorr kills Zeus in this movie...
@@SameoldPrimaldata True, but Russell Crowe isnt exactly in his gladiator days. If they do resurrect him, they should put him in a new, young body for the future of the MCU. I'd hate to see them introduce Zeus and kill him off for good. He's such a powerful character.
every god Gorr the god butcher has killed:
1) Rapu
thanks for reading my comment
Gorr can make a bigger villain than thanos
No way bro
Yes , Thanos hid like a bitch from the Asgardians
Gorr seeks them out
When your suffering is larger then you become gorr to kill gods.
In response to EliasAlucard's optimism:
Ethan Hawke's reputation is tarnished by Moon Knight's terrible scripts, most notoriously the fake Chinese, the blatantly villainous, heedlessly written monologues, and the fake-out finale.
Not only that you took things people actually complained about(like with Donofrios character(that he was slightly more grounded and not as larger than life as in the comics) and somehow said "it not to the source material"
Look the Eternals are trippy, always have been it was one of Kirby's more far fetched creations.
Let's see how many Gods Paul Allen has killed..
I'm tired of anything avengers, including thor. He had his time, IMO they should move on to other heroes as marvel had thousands.
@@escape808 this would be nice too
I wonder is he could take on Thanos
Thanos could be easily handled by Asgard .
He hid until Asgard fell.
Gorr couldn't care less about Asgard , he totally defeated them
I doubt Thor will survive this movie
A better question would be could gorr take on darkseid or trigon? Thanos isn't even a god , he's a titan eternal
@@cedriceric9730 Really then in that case I hope the Marilyn Manson Reject kills everyone in this film and he gives Thor a death worthy of his status as a god before killing Gorr.
@@SpockBorg5 He can easily finish off Darkseid
Darksied Got defeated and Left with injuries when he first came to take Earth
Especially by Zeus
Zeus is afraid of Gorr now imagine how powerful he is
But Movie gonna nerf him anyway
@@winnersmindset7195 yeah right
Loved the movie! Only wish they showed more of gor killing gods
"All Gods will die" sounds like "no more mutants"
Yea because a wiki entry is a definitive measure of a gods big-ness or small-ness
The characters in the MCU are watered down from the comics. Nuff said
If the necro sword is all that powerful in the hands of gor who was not even a warrior....how come knull died fighting the golden god?
It became too powerful after it tasted the blood of those two gods, and continued to get more power the more gods it killed
Kang probably teaches him the god bomb in the mcu and it’s all part of his plan to use him as a means to an end
Would love to see him have a pop at Kratos, Kratos would destroy him.
I'm a fan of horror gore like Hellraiser, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Underworld (to name a few)... It would be easy for me to be excited by a Gorr standalone movie... Thanks for sharing...
Marvel shouldn't have been afraid to Voldemort Christian Bale for the movie, just would have made his look more complete.
I don't know. It's hard to say because Voldemort was an absolute disaster in my opinion
From what I found on the Marvel Wiki, Chernobog came back some time after.
Batman has proven......Given enough time, he can even take on the Gods by himself.
1. "Butch the burly blacksmith belligerently battered big bronze bells, blending blunt blows with blazing brilliance."
2. "Butch boasted boldly about brewing bubbling batches of brilliantly balanced blackberry barley beverages."
3. "Brave Butch brought bundles of brittle birch branches, briskly building bright-burning bonfires beneath the broad blue bridge."
4. "Butch’s baffling bakery briskly baked bitter butter buns while balancing bright brass bowls brimming with brown batter."
5. "Beneath blustering blizzards, Butch briskly bundled brittle birch bark, battling biting breezes with brash boldness."
A ten episode (each episode being an hour) series.. saves extreme time and money and makes excellent use of writing and saves movies face.
The Eternals movie should've been a damn series. That and Infinity War.

Kind of liking this Gorr character. Death to all gods!
If the dark god was knull imagine how powerful the gold god was to be on par with him😳😳
It wasn’t knull
@@Chiefteeth1 huh litteraly says knull?
@@Chiefteeth1 possibly the 616 knull or is there only 1 knull in the multiverse?

I wanna see an alternate universe where he meets Kratos
How come the MCU version of Gorr the God Butcher doesn't look like his comic book counterpart? Where did he get the Necrosword to kill gods since Sony won't let Disney use Knull the God of Symbiotes?
Because it's still Disney, they don't want to scare the younger audience with a grotesque looking face.
@@Callumdevan17 well they didn't scare anyone when they did the same thing with ebony maw
@@mohamine9540 okay, but Ebony Maw is not as ghoulish as Gorr's comic book depiction. Just my opinion.
@@Callumdevan17 okay that I didn't know
The looks; Because it's a live action movie, not a comic book, entirely diffrent art, entirely diffrent visual styles work and don't work with some overlap.
The rest. Who knows? There's new lore to learn from the movies now!
Kratos would like to have a conversation with this Gorr dude
You should get an affiliate link for online stores selling the comics themselves. I haven't opened a comic book in 20 years and I want the series with Gorr...

He isn’t a bad person. He was just sad because of his daughter. He could’ve fulfilled what he wanted to do, but instead he brought his daughter back to life
So he just found a weapon laying down took it and became super powerful, very good back story
@Fame paved you get your planet destroyed, stabbed, and cast away as an infant surviving only through rage, and see how stable you end up.
Violence is not the answer, it's the question. And the answer is yes.
Legend says this look of Gorr is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi 😆😆
Lol
😂😂 Gandhi tha British butcher
Insert footage of Gorr nuking planets
I feel sad when I see all those beautiful artworks getting overwhelmed by movies, how harsh life can be !
How much God could a god butcher butch, if a god butcher could butch gods?
*could butch more than one God?
When his eyes glow yellow he kinda just looks like a sith lord all pasty and what not.
To be truthful, I see Gorr's point. No love lost on Gods.
...devils are like that. Have fun with that bunch.
Damn right
Edgy
Kratos : when do I get to fight ?
Kratos would probably team up with Gorr since he is something of a gods butcher himself loll

It is some other god send by knull...
Knull is so powerful than that

Good thing Stormbreaker isn't the jealous type 😂
I like to see Gorr go against Kang the Conqueror.. That would be an epic battle..
Which one, cause there are a few versions of Kang that would easily wipe the floor with Gor. Especially since he probably knows all of the symbiote/necroswords weaknesses and doesn't even care about "testing his opponents limits." You catch Kangs more ruthless incarnations Gor'll wish he died Volstagg's death.
@@SameoldPrimaldata I agree.. Still it would be two bad dudes battling it out..
I cant blame him. He is called god-butcher and ist doing his job as a god-butcher. He loves his work.

#MCUMultiverse #PrimeMCU #SonySpiderManUniverse #ThorLoveAndThunder #Venom #KingInBlack
So, So far, Gore has buchered "cans" as we call it in MMA. 😂
Its gonna be too light-hearted. He'll have like one slightly dark scene and that will be it. How can they keep making the same movies and people go in hoping for something different every time and it never happens
Disney will not show even 1% of the real Gorr The God Butcher.
Never question, just consume. The Disney motto
@@andrewkuebler4335 Yep and it is that motto that got them in the situation they are in.
Bale arguably gave the best marvel performance 👏🏽 👏🏽
Ironically, had Gorr actually helped his golden god, none of this would have happened and he would have happily lived the rest of his life in faithful joy. Choices have consequences which, in the end, cost Gorr his new son, wife, and life.
Explain.
GORR realised how terrible life is, so he went phyco
"Every God Gorr The God Butcher Has Butchered" reading that title somehow rhymed in my head , LOL.
I saw Chernabog from BLOOD come up for half a second hahahahahahahaha 😈😎😇
Gorr is undoubtedly a HERO and not a villain ! At the very least an Anti-Hero.

Jack King Murphy's long dead, sadly. Who is this Awesome Artist for this GORR storyline???
I’m digging this new guy.
