The control arm bushings are installed incorrectly into the carriers. There is an alignment mark on the carrier and on the bushing. Yours are off by almost 90 degrees. Time stamp 4:41.
I'm going to have to take a look at that! Thanks for the catch, luckily the car isn't being driven. Just .5 a mile to my house to my buddy's house. But we will be sure to address that!
Stay tuned we made changes to the suspension! And I think everything should be perfectly installed. Spoiler alert we didn’t use that bushing after some fitment issues haha.
Greg Banek 🙏🏾 really appreciate the love! Trying my hardest to put my twist on it, without completely transforming the car. Thanks for watching and stay tuned 🙌🏾
I know brotha life got the best of me. Two kids so young it’s hard to a balance time. No excuse, your comment literally motivated me to stop being lazy 🙌🏾👊🏾🙏🏾
Your tire was hitting the front of the bumper? My caster is so much closer than that and no rubbing. And ride height is just 2 fingers between tire and fender.
Which setup were you using before this new bushing? I currently have 95 arms with the Garagistic offset treehouse FCAB’s and it is way too far forward. Do you think if I did the centered solid treehouse style it would move it back enough? Or should I just go back to lollipops
Hmm I would have to see the fitment, but it comes down to wheel and tire specs as well. But the lollipop is what I recommend to get max clearance. My tires were very meaty and I was lowered significantly, so I needed all the clearance I could get.
@@PorscheParadise then def go with the lollipop to save time from my headaches lol. And ultimately it’ll allow for a better alignment once fully set up 🙌🏾
With obd2 m3’s you do not need offset fcab bushings the lca’s were made with more forward caster, I learned this the hard way tire was sitting in the bumper 🤣
Yeah basically they did the offset LCAB on the 95 M3 (with a slightly modified top mount) and that increased caster a bit. The 96+ M3 control arms are different and the caster extension is built in so you can use regular LCABs. So that’s like the mod for non-Ms is to use the offset LCAB. I did it on my 318 and it def increased caster but now the coil overs are real close to my 17s. May need a 5mm spacer lol
I’m currently running -2.5 camber front and rear. But that is only because i haven’t made time to get an alignment. I had a bunch of other projects pop up. I just need to release a lot fo videos haha. I’ll keep you posted!
besides negative camber, did you have to run spacers in the front or rear to get these to fit proper? about to order the same wheels, i run kwv1, curious if the wheel will rub on the springs..
@@Genesislights lmao I’m not going to disagree. Anyone donating a barn 🤣🙏🏾?! But stay tuned I got another car to share, and a new one on the way. But I’m so slow at sharing 😩

Well I got the ride height now where I want it, and let me see what the alignment shop will do for fitment.

@@AutoAddict one last question are you using the 96+ arms or the 95 m3/non-m arms?

hi do you remember wheel specs and what tires you have ??
Apex ARC8 Hyper Silver 17x9 et30. And I ran 245/40/17 square tire setup.
@@AutoAddict okay thanx for help. are those fender rolled ??
@@Noweks yes front and rear 👍🏾
What size spacers do you have ?
It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure I am running a 10mm spacer up front to clear my KW coilovers.
So how many degrees do you run front and back?
I’m currently running -2.5 camber front and rear. But that is only because i haven’t made time to get an alignment. I had a bunch of other projects pop up. I just need to release a lot fo videos haha. I’ll keep you posted!

Rear no spacers and front I did run a spacer the exact size escapes my memory.
what tire size is that?
245/40/17 🤙🏾, I love meaty tire fitment haha
What’s the wheel spec? And rolling?
17x9 et30
Fenders are rolled my later video shows it getting done 🤙🏾
Don’t forget to ahha robe the E36 is nearing completion and she is lookin 🔥
@@AutoAddict Dang, That is pretty aggressive rolled on the back. You need a barn to store 3 M3s!
@@Genesislights lmao I’m not going to disagree. Anyone donating a barn 🤣🙏🏾?! But stay tuned I got another car to share, and a new one on the way. But I’m so slow at sharing 😩
@@Genesislights and honestly the roll required all depends on how aggressive you want to do your camber haha. I just want a clean stance 🙌🏾
