I saw an interview with the soldier in the last clip. the reason he was alone is that the team was on the bottom floor and got engaged by grenades and small arms, amidst the chaos he pushed to the top floor not noticing he was alone, and got in a fight without a chance to pull back to his team fighting on the bottom floor. the grenade blew up exactly at the doorway, he received a lot of shrapnel in his legs. and some to the upper body. he recalls after the grenade went off he thought that he was toast if he didn't get up and continue the fight since the backup wasn't close. adrenaline was pumping he got up and got rid of therat, later medevaced to an Israeli hospital. Just for clarification, at 6:30 he says “don’t fire on the truck over there [around the corner]. If I tell you to retreat, pass me and we cover each other” Also, the smoke can come from either smoke grenades or a nearby tank that has been outfitted with smokescreen covers. The soldiers are shooting a lot as a form of suppressive fire, so every time you have an encounter it’s much better to shoot at any opening or walls and corners where they might be hidden behind, and move forward to close quarters contact. The video at 9:00 is the Yahalom elite combat engineering unit. They are on the same levels of combat training as Matkal, Shaldag, Duvdevan etc and regularly operate inside tunnels, deep insertion missions and highly sensitive explosive ordinance operations. So in terms of CQB they are definitely up there. He calls out “tango down!”
My CQB training was very different. The best way I could describe it was "cautious violence of action". Our instructors would put tripwires and booby traps connected to training grenades (the ones that just make a little puff of smoke for the non-military people) and I remember being so frustrated when you had the building almost completely clear, there was 1 room left and suddenly "puff", 1 simulated dead and 3 simulated wounded on a 6 man stack. Yeah you could say "but just toss a frag and be done with it", but you have to consider it's an urban center, there's a probability of civilians inside being used as human shields. Unless the intel told you "there's no civilians here, only enemies", some of the more creative recruits would just call anything with a .50 and tell the gunner "light that building up, just don't melt the barrel", same with a Mk19. Edit: Something I forgot. A group of us were sent to the US and train with the 82nd airborne and we practiced CQC, and noticed some of your guys had extremely potent flashlights, even during the day. I think I asked a staff sergeant or sergeant 1st class as to why and he told me "shine that in the face of the enemy" and me, being the dumbass I am, asked him if he would do it to me. Needless to say, it felt like trying to win a staring contest against the sun and when he turned it off, I couldn't see anything for a couple of seconds. I bought the same flashlight he had that same day.
You sound like a 14 year old that plays too much airsoft. Recruits calling in gunners with .50 cals and Mk19s in CQB training?? Wtf are you even talking about
This scenario of urban warfare fought in street and alleys narrow, reminds me of the videos I usually see of the military police of the State of RJ (Rio de Janeiro), here in Brazil. I remember about 10 years ago all of the war colleges and military think tanks were discussing how future warfare would move into the megacities. Now we're primarily seeing a lot of combat taking place in large dense urban environments. The discussions were interesting when it came to cyber warfare and drones. We're seeing new domains being integrated into the battlespace. It does make one wonder if near future warfare will involve mostly digital and cyber engagements with small units. Who knows but it's interesting to observe in it's development.

When Israel’s critics try and portray this as something we want, it’s like they don’t understand what war is at all. Who in their right mind wants their child to have to do this. Our IDF are exceptional, truly.
First, i am an Israeli reserve fighter . The soldiers in the second video are combat engineering fighters. The armored combat vehicle you are talking about is a vehicle built on the structure of the Chariot tank and its role is to carry soldiers and equipment from place to place, and in the specific structure you see, it has been built relevant to the Combat Engineering Corps.
First video is the LOTAR unit (707) Second video is a combat engineering battalion (601) Third video are the commando units - MAGLAN, DUVDEVAN and EGOZ Fourth one is the YAHALOM unit On the 4th video he screams “terrorist down”
Two points: The second movie is not SOF but Combat Engineering Infantry Regiment 601. The last movie is an IDF SOF. He takes down the first terrorist (the frame stops, and there is a circle of terrorists on the ground) Then, a second terrorist throws a grenade and gets killed.
What is even more difficult in this war is that there are Israeli hostages in the homes of Hamas members and also Palestinians who are hiding in them and the IDF has to fight carefully
I fought in Gaza for 3 months (reserve duty), the biggest difficulty was fighting in neighborhoods that are built but also destroyed. I think that this kind of fighting is insanely dangerous and requires a lot of effort, certainly because of the fact that Hamas also operates underground and knows the terrain much better, which is sometimes worth more than advanced technology or skilled fighters like the Israeli army has.
Gaza is a cemetery for Israeli soldiers. The Palestinian Strip is known as the owners of the land who will prevail despite the circumstances. Support me Palestine.
If you want to see real fighting you should see the video footage from 7th of october when random police officers, civilians and former soldiers all got together to defend civilian area's called "kibbutz" which is like a small neighborhood of families that got infiltrated by hamas militants that day,
I know that was bad what happend at the 7th of oktober. but if we look at the numbers and get down the facts the IDF is killing 1000X more people than how much hamas has killed at 7th of october. its the same thing what happend with 911. thousends of civilians got injured and killed but 100 thousands of civillians got injured and killed in their own country aswell, again this 911 and these acts from palestine doesnt just come from nowhere. its the opressor who started it and why they are fighting back
Having 2 lights is probably much better considering it’s super easy to identify when you’re being peaked with a weapon light. The second light on the helmet makes that much harder to predict exactly where the barrel is pointed

This soldier was amazing. He continued fighting even though he got injured from the Hand grenade that was drawn towards him.

I bought the same flashlight he had that same day.
thanks for that story that was very interesting!
Those lights are popular on the civilian market in the US too I have one for my rifle and one on my pistol

@@BlackMamba-nd3hj Radical far left/ right armed gangster or militant organizations which motivated by religious, political, or ideological beliefs and committed in the pursuit of goals that are usually political.
Some militant organization may overthrow an internationally recognized government body as a de facto ruler. It may be designated as terrorist group due to number of criteria such as
1. No diplomatic relation
2. Not maintained/authorized by head of sovereign state
3. Forcefully overthrowing a legitimate government
4. Funded by a country that is sanctioned
5. Any country that is affiliated with terrorist groups may face blockade by its allies

2. Muslim Brotherhood - qatar. (Qatar allegedly sponsored MB n faced blockade by its muslim neighboring countries for several years) this happened back in 2019

I fought in Gaza for 3 months (reserve duty), the biggest difficulty was fighting in neighborhoods that are built but also destroyed. It's unjust for Arabs to occupy so many lands and destroy civilization they should have stayed at arab peninsula
I cannot imagine trying to walk in all of that rubble, especially while watching for combatants from 20 feet up. Thats insane
The IDF have an intense job. God bless the IDF!
Gaza is a cemetery for Israeli soldiers. The Palestinian Strip is known as the owners of the land who will prevail despite the circumstances. Support me Palestine.
If you want to see real fighting you should see the video footage from 7th of october when random police officers, civilians and former soldiers all got together to defend civilian area's called "kibbutz" which is like a small neighborhood of families that got infiltrated by hamas militants that day,
I know that was bad what happend at the 7th of oktober. but if we look at the numbers and get down the facts the IDF is killing 1000X more people than how much hamas has killed at 7th of october. its the same thing what happend with 911. thousends of civilians got injured and killed but 100 thousands of civillians got injured and killed in their own country aswell, again this 911 and these acts from palestine doesnt just come from nowhere. its the opressor who started it and why they are fighting back
Wow that last one was crazy
The soldiers of the IDF are so good and brave
Pfffff

War tunnels in schools 🤯
Having 2 lights is probably much better considering it’s super easy to identify when you’re being peaked with a weapon light. The second light on the helmet makes that much harder to predict exactly where the barrel is pointed
Id have to hear it from the prespective of sombody who has faced that exact situation i could potentially see it not being that hard to destinguish by looking at the pattern of how the lights move
IDF is one of the MOST skilled and experienced armies in the world! No doubt
Why if they don't liberate the hostages, the war has been long.((o( ̄ー ̄)o))
@@HUNTER10388they are also dealing with the most difficult combat which is a huge reason why they became such a good army
One of the least skilled and experienced armies in the world, everyone agrees IDF = Israel Diapers Forces. They can't stand 1 day against a regular army, and btw this is not my words these are words from real experts from France and the US ... Propaganda says the opposit ... criingeeee
