You can’t fake being such a good person, your whole life. I’ve never ever heard a bad word about him. And I don’t think money means too much to him or that having a lot of it means that you are better than others. I hope he has a long and happy fulfilling life.

Keanu Reeves is one of those guys who seems as genuine and caring as one could ever hope for. He’s had quite a bit of sadness and pain in his life, but he does what he can to keep going as you can’t let all the unfortunate things keep you down forever. Keanu is a shiny example of "don't do to others what you wouldn't want to experience yourself", with a great deal of introspection, sense of the big picture and auto-correction. He has experienced fragility of life himself and wants to be as kind as possible, as kindness returns to the owner as much as it's good to the outside world. I do think he's an introvert overall.

One of the nicest things I remember about him is when he answered the question "what do you think happens to us when we die?" on a talk show and Keanu said "I know that the ones who love us will miss us." and the crowd went nuts. There are so many nice stories about Keanu - you would need another 2 hours. I think his acting and selection of roles is also outstanding for the most part. I am sad that his girlfriend that was pregnant with their child died in a car accident in the early 2000s. I wish Keanu all the best and hope he finds happiness for the rest of his life!

Keanu may not be the best at acting, but I have never seen any actor try so hard to do a good job. Check out the behind the scenes where he tries to perfect everything he is doing to get it right, and is pretty hard on himself when he misses. He seems like a very good and generous person overall, and it's shocking that a person like him could survive in the existing corrupt Hollywood system. My opinion of him has only grown more positive over the years, the more I see, unlike nearly every single other actor in Hollywood. There should be a rule at the Academy awards, that any time an actor assaults anybody else, that all their awards automatically gets transfered to Keannu instead, no matter what they are or when they got them, just to make a point.

    My favorite Keanu Reeves story:
In New York in 2014 Keanu Reeves was going to a wrap party for one of his films. Upon arriving at the club the bouncers didn’t recognize him. He stood out in the rain for 20 minutes waiting to get into HIS party and didn’t say anything like “Do you know who I am?”, or make a big scene. Instead he went to the back of the line and patiently waited until someone finally recognized him and let him in to his own party.
If this doesn’t sum up his integrity and lack of ego idk what does. I don’t think any celebrity alive currently would have done what he did in this instance. It is simply impossible to not love Keanu Reeves both as an actor and a human being

I did that also, it isn't fun, but it does have weird benefits of being hyper-present in the moment. You don't know the social hierarchy of any class or group, so you become almost incandescently amiable. When I looked back over my yearbooks, I was stunned how many wrote how kind I was. I didn't remember a single kind act, but realized that deliberately choosing NOT to give offense, to refrain from gossip and bullying, I did come across as gentle.

So, he focuses on it's positives - getting to meet new people & fans from all walks of life & opportunity to help others on a larger scale than most could w/out the means or platform he's been blessed with.
I also think the tragic losses & heartache he unfortunately had to endure fairly early in life, caused him to mature earlier than he otherwise might have. He learned about strength of character, how to persevere, what truly matters in life & not to take people or time for granted. To live now bc it's the only thing we're guaranteed. Keanu is just a kind, down to earth, likable, sweet guy. How can anyone not like him? I suppose certain movies he's been in are very memorable to someone my age because we're from the same generation. I absolutely love "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and even it's sequel! "The Matrix" trilogy is quite memorable as well. I've seen a LOT of movies starring Keanu and I can't help but just love him! He never caves to Hollywood demands of dating a young, blonde bimbos, but instead shares his time and love of creativity with a normal, sweet, very intelligent woman named Alexandra. She's an artist and they create wonderful art and other amazing projects together. He follows his heart, not his fellow actors model of stupidity and selfishness. He is without a doubt the nicest man in Hollywood, if not one of the nicest human beings on earth. I think he's a wonderful actor who is perfect for the roles that made him iconic (even if some are a bit silly! 😉) I'd love to sit and have a coffee with him and just talk about his life and what his perception of the world is. I think I'd learn a lot and I bet I'd learn a lot about humility and what being a decent human being is truly about. I really loved and enjoyed this video, so thanks Dr. Grande! (I'm sorry if my wording and syntax was a bit jittery here, but sometimes it's difficult for me to express my thoughts in a coherent and understandable way. 🙃)

After she only made one sale in Marfa, Texas, she lashed back in her next interview (in Germany) sayin, “You don’t want to sound like a Southener”. She also contradicts herself constantly. She’s a grifter and a con-artist who targeted Keanu through their mutual friend Janey. (His prior assistant.) Her own sister doesn’t talk to her anymore after she conned her, her own sister, and Jessica Fleishman. Be wary of Grant. She’s bad news and will try to destroy Keanu if he stops funding her.

I love that movie! He is so pure and real in his role. It’s the perfect role for him. I loved the message and the overall beauty of the film. I’ve watched the movie as often as I come across it. So many, many times. It does my heart good to watch it.
Keanu Reeves is a sweetheart, a darling man, a tender heart, a truly kind gentleman who is gracious and generous with his time and his money. He’s a humble man with a servants heart. I know he’s not perfect, but he certainly hasn’t missed the mark by much.

About 15 years ago, my friends and I ran into him in Hong Kong. He was standing in front of me waiting for the lift. I was shy to ask him for an autograph, but I whispered to my friend that it would be nice to have his autograph. He herd me, and turned to me, opening his hands toward me as if he was asking me, where I would like him to sign. So, I pulled out a diary from my handbag for him to sign. (This was before the iPhone era.) He was absolutely very kind. 😊

I don't know if this is urban legend, but I heard once that Keanu was known for showing up to auditions with basically the entire scripts memorized, including the other actors' parts. Say what you want about his acting, but the guy is committed. Also, Speed is very entertaining despite is flaws in logic!
Keanu is a refreshing personality. Hollywood culture is so fake, it's nice to seem someone genuine.

Being a good person is far more important than being a good actor. I've always thought Keanu was good at acting. When he's given a good script and a good director. He's proven that with the Matrix and John Wick films. That's true for anyone in Hollywood.

Another factor that makes him very likeable is that he is dating someone actually close to his age (57), his partner is artist Alexandra Grant (46). That is somewhat rare in Hollywood with middle-aged men often chasing after 22 year olds.

He also dates women who are at his age and age appropriate, which is refreshing. He’s also incredibly gorgeous. He was amazing in “The devil’s advocate “, “Constantine” and “Rivers Edge”.

I loved him in Johnny Mnemonic, and enjoyed Sweet November. Some of the actors you listed as good in every type of role are actors I think are the same person in every role, just in different situations. Specifically Harrison Ford: put him in a plain shirt and jeans and have him act lines from any of his movies to someone who is unfamiliar with him, and they'd be hard pressed to tell which ones were from different movies. I think it speaks well of him that he has chosen a career path so perfectly suited to his abilities.

Hello Dr. Grande, could you please analyze Yaser Abdel Said? He is the so-called father who fatally shot his teen daughters Amina and Sarah in the back of his taxi in 2008, and was just tried and convicted a few days ago and will now spend the rest of his life in prison. Originally from Egypt, he took a 15-year-old American girl, Patricia Owens, as his wife when he was 30. He abused her, and he also emotionally, physically, and sexually abused his daughters. I believe that he is a malignant narcissist. I also think that it's worthwhile to cover some of Patricia's behaviour, as many blame her for her part in returning the girls to Yaser after they attempted to flee his abuse, with Amina having already been subjected to serious death threats by her father.

Definitely approach him and say hello if you ever see him in public... the picture hangs on my office wall with pride and it is also true he doesn't touch anybody when you do a photo-- hands in pockets... I worked in the film industry for 20 years and have first hand knowledge of what a little money and fame can do to a person. They can turn into self absorbed, narcissistic jerks. It's easy to slip into being that sort of person when people are constantly asking for photographs and autographs and generally treating you like royalty. I feel sorry for people like that because fame and money can disappear just as easily as it appeared and then they're left with nothing. Keanu Reeves has his priorities straight. He's so rich and famous that he could easily become one of the aforementioned jerks. He has a great heart and is compassionate about his fellow man. I have respect for anyone that is like that. I think he hasn't forgotten about where he started and is appreciative of everything he's got. He's know to be kind and generous. We could all learn a lesson about being a generally kind person from him.

While gunplay is often unrealistic in films, Keanu trained uspsa with taran butler, a controversial but respected as one of the most well known uspsa firearm trainers in the US. While it may be true John wick has hyperbolic action scenes, the gun play is legit and often based more in reality than 99% of Hollywood movies involving firearms. Just one more thing to respect Keanu for, it is hard work and 100s hours of training to get where he is. Perhaps Alec Baldwin should have had a fraction of his training, at least the handling and safety components.

Not just that time either. When he said "I know kung-fu!" in The Matrix he was telling the truth. He went out of his way to spend months training, continued to hone his skills after the films release, and by the time filming for Reloaded began he was significantly more confident, something which shows in the movie. Where others may fake it or do the bare minimum he goes the extra mile. It seems that he applies the "be excellent" part to all aspects of his life, not just other people.
