Please, please make a bra-making video (series). Underwire bras are so hard to fit! I once was able to make my own bras. Somehow I stopped, so I know exactly how badly one needs inspiration to get started. Such a small garment with so many parts…
It can be very, very challenging. I studied for years, watched Monica Bravo's complete video instruction course many times, attended her 3-day, hands-on workshop in my area and spent a few private minutes with her in her booth at one of the SEW EXPOs in Puyallup, Washington. I was difficult to fit, because I have narrow shoulders but relatively large breasts. Finally made a few that fit...but then there was weight loss...and weight gain...and loss...and gain...sigh. If you're sort of "average" ratio-sized (narrow shoulders and small-breasted, for example) or just small-breasted, it's much easier. I have boxes of supplies and need to make more, but hesitate to try. Monica tells the amazing , amusing story of whipping out nursing bras while she's in labor, LOL! One of these days, I hope to be able to make my own again. I think it could be a matter of being ok with making mistakes and starting over.

Haha GoGo Boots! She is a rascal. She has her own basket in the loft the sleep in but occasionally I find her in my clothes baskets. Too cute to be mad 😻

Definitely interested in bra making and also altering patterns to one’s body type is always interesting to me! I’ve made clothing for the kids, but everything I’ve tried to make for myself has been wonky to say the least! 😂

Thanks for the kind words! I’ve been working on a bra video for…a long time now. At least when I finally get it done I can use a couple years of wash and wear research along with the sewing!!

My legs also rub together and cause holes in my pants, I'd love more information on the gusset you mentioned when you talked about your leggings! It makes me wonder if I could add gussets to any pants(like jeans) to help avoid that kind of rubbing...
Great suggestion! I can do a tutorial on this. I love really diving in on how you wear your clothes and really making them work for you. It’s not unlike adding elbow patches on a jacket. Or I just made a pair of jeans for my husband- he always tears thru the front pocket bags early so this time I doubled up on the fabric to see if that gives them longer life. New video idea formulating… thanks!
@@AnnTilleyHandmade that would be fantastic! I'd love to fix both my and my husband's clothes so they last longer. My husband has the same issue with the pockets in addition to the inner legs

Are the Sophie Hines materials sourced from Wazoodle? That’s where I source mine. I use the Zorb 3D fabrics in my everyday panty for minor leaks and light periods.
