Decluttering my wardrobe, (clothes/bags/shoes/scarves)

In the 3rd of this round of videos dedicated to decluttering, I am focusing on my wardrobe. I'm working in real time so you can work alongside me. I've thrown a few tips in for good measure.
I'm due to move house (and country!) in a couple of weeks and I don't want to bring unnecessary things that I have accumulated over the years so what better time to declutter than this!

I couldn’t wear heels much before the pandemic but now that skill is totally annihilated in me 🤣 👠
To maintain a number of wardrobe items I’m comfortable with, I’m starting to implement the 1 in 1 out rule! So that I keep the same number of items and ovoid my wardrobe from becoming overwhelming! I fluctuate in size quite a bit, so there are a LOT of clothes that don’t fit under my bed 😅 But I’d rather this than keep buying entire new wardrobes!

Yes! I love the 1 in 1 out, I use it for lots of things around the house. I'm very pleased you liked it, I will do more like this soon once I'm settled after the move.

👠 I've stopped around 2018 or something and only kept a black pair with a moderate heel, that go with almost anything (jeans, dresses etc), and one summery shoe with a wedge heel

Yes, I have a simple black pair now for nights out that require a heel, a beige pair for weddings etc, and one leopard print pair for if I want to jazz it up a bit but as they die out I won't be buying more...

Because there are little girls out there who would appreciate it much more than me. Don't worry, I'm sure I'll grow it again one day but for now it's all gone!
