Keep your wrist straight and strong. Once your boxing power gets strong enough, a pro-length hand wrap is a must if you don’t want to break your wrist. It’s not even possible to bend your wrist like that when properly wrapped.
You can throw the punch from a down to up position too. Instead of a up to down position. Not everyone is tall. Also crossing the line back to the original vision isn’t a good idea, you might as well throw a left hook if that’s the case.
Love this channel! Keep it up man, this is quickly becoming my go to for boxing technique content 🔥😎. If you are planning on doing fighter breakdowns in the future I'm looking forward to Juan Manuel Marquez and Finito López breakdowns 👌.
When you throw the cross with the head off the center line like in example 1, does your weight still needs to be on the back foot or should you feel the weight on the front foot?
It should start at the back and end on the front. Then when your arm goes back so should your weight. If you trying to push off your back leg for more power
Solid techniques tips for the cross variants. Very helpful. Thanks a million!!
"In this video I'm going to teach you how..."
