For the price(2/$3) at my local grocery, it is my go to ice beer if I’m trying to have a cheap buzz! I prefer my Founders Porter /Bell’s 2 hearted but in between paychecks icehouse is there for ya! Haha great review, Brad!
@@BeerReview im a fan of dark beers...amber bock is good...i cant think of the others i like but murrays which looks black with the co2 cartridge in it is something else to say the least.
Hey, I'm a porter fan too. I have the package store order me Anchor Steam Porter...but, wow the pandemic aftermath is a ridiculous price increase. They charge me about $45 for a case now. Ouch. I might have to learn to love Yuengling's Black and Tan (wish they had Ying-Yang Porter instead of B&T in my market). But I digress, the topic is Icehouse. Right now I think it's about the best cheap beer for hot weather. That's a few caveats, but, for me, that's where this beer lives. It is smooth without any edges (that includes hops for the most part) and finishes clean.
I just had this and it's better than you explained imo, could be th3 batch. I got a wonderful wheat finished. I put it right up there with every other adjunct lager. Not the best but the negatives don't stand out at all for me. Good beer. I paid 1.30 for a 24 oz at dollar general.
drinkin one now.quality for a buck. MBI seems a weaker in quality than this.. i like good beers but i dont mind a good cheap quality beer.. taste better than bud ice to me. great review. subbed
Red Dog went away and came back again. I haven't seen it in a while now so it probably didnt last unfortunately. My dad drank Rrd Dog growing up all the time.
I've been drinking that classic since 1996, and I just drank one (12-oz. bottle).
Nice. Cheers
Old school favorite from the ice craze...now it's a memory 💎 and tasty...although it's only available in 24oz cans here now
Ron your the man .... I just drank a 24oz and it’s good as in top 4 for ice beer for me definitely
