wow awesome collection! As a German living in Austria I can definitely say that you won't see that stuff even in museums here, at least not all of it at once! Great video, thanks for sharing
I was shocked to see the Azad Hind honours. I was surprised to see the insignia on the table since I recognised the ribbon colours at first sight ! Really good ones though. 2:51 for anyone wondering.
Thats one hell of a lot of extremely valuable and interesting items, i wonder why the collector couldnt find a knights cross of the iron cross since there was a document to one? Or maybe there were so many fakes on the market that it wasnt worth the effort perhaps. Nowadays its more easier to find reliable and known dealers with completely genuine items but the prices have gone through the roof.
Great video - On your travels, keep an eye out for anything "1st Polish Armoured Division" related, my grandfathers' tunic etc sadly succumbed to moths...
Wow what a fantastic collection 👍 good idea with the facetime, it would certainly interest myself. Cant please everyone, I am sure a number of people will still want the email/photo route.
There is a flood of counterfeit stuff out there some obvious and other stuff not so obvious. Alot of real stuff has the pins ripped off cause GIs didn't have the time usually to unfasten and unhook the merit badges, they usually got yanked off very quick.
You definitely need to do your homework if you want to get into collecting German badges. There’s so many really good reproductions out there. You have to know what you’re looking at. If I can’t hold it and examine it, I won’t buy it. Period. This looks like an impressive collection. I truly hope it is.
I would recommend not cleaning metals or anything else like that (aside from dirt or corrosion of course)as the patina is a huge part of the value and depending upon it determines what it's worth, and once gone ...
Kicker is the gentleman collected most of it in the80's and prior so you know he purchased most of it for a fraction of what the value is now. The original collector that you purchased it from ,that is. Wow that is some collection.
Omg ! I love this collection ! Nazi knifes wow i wish I had them all lols ! Nazi means natural order , not an racial stuff ! Greetings from Sacramento California !
Less talking, more showing the things. Please learn how to film in the right way. I dont see anything clear. Very sad, you can do 3-4 GOOD Videos of this- and the collectors are very thankful about that in my opinion Best regards

How much does a German cross first and second class cost in US dollars?
Smash ok thanks for letting me know
@Smash not really. I've seen decent ek2s go for around 175-250 USD. I've seen ek1s go for around 300-500 and beyond USD.
Congrats on your baby

Some say that you need to be very careful buying from these guys.

Anyone, what is the best way to clean medals ie infantry assault badge general assault badge ect...?
I recommend you don’t clean your badges if it an original.
