i was with someone for just over 4 years and i ended things because i wasn’t happy and it was not a healthy relationship. i ended up dating someone new with a month. many thought i moved on toooo fast but now that new guy and me have been together for 4.5 years already and everything is still sooo good. i feel like my ex and i were broken up before i even ended it just because of how unhealthy the relationship was and they him and i just slowly were separating before i finally called it quits. people may think it’s weird that you’re moving on already but they have no idea what goes on behind the camera every single day. and to the comments saying “she used to say how happy she was and now she says she’s the happiest she’s ever been it’s confusing and makes no sense” she THOUGHT she was happy. but now that she is living her life differently and with different people she is realizing a new happy, and it’s the happiest she’s ever been so far in her life... and she has many years left so she could find a happier time down the road too. it’s called growing!

Exactly! They say when a woman ends the relationship, most of the time she was already gone emotionally for at least a year! So I totally get what you mean. People need to let others live their lives, we only have one life and I’m glad she’s making the most of hers!
I love this! When my first marriage broke down everyone was shocked but it was a unhealthy relationship but nobody knew because I was to scared to tell them the truth. And I still am tbh, my mum occasionally talks about my ex like the sun shines out of his ass but I feel like I cannot tell her the truth now after so many years! I’m glad she’s living her best life now and she’s got good people around her

I can relate! Except it wasn’t 4 years mine was only 2. Met a really good guy pretty soon after my last one ended. People thought I moved on too fast. But honestly, things go as they should, and everything happens for a reason.

I spent 5 years with someone feeling the same way.. when we broke up I felt like my world was crashing down even though I was miserable. Short time later I met my current boyfriend.. and we celebrate 9 years together tomorrow :). We just got a new home.. and we are so happy! It never would’ve happened if I hadn’t split with my ex.. if I hadn’t gone through those tough times. If you aren’t happy, make that change. You deserve it!
You have the power to change your life to whatever you want. We get this one life and we deserve to be happy and live how we want. You can’t be afraid of change because it can turn out to be the best decision you’ve ever done for yourself. I was afraid to leave my husband because I wasn’t working and he was fully supporting me financially but not emotionally so I decided that I didn’t want to live like that anymore and only I could do something about it, so I did. It was the best decision I could have ever made and the feeling of being free and finally happy was completely worth it. Like I said we have this one life, make it beautiful.

this happened with my ex, i was so scared to walk away from that relationship because of the history and emotional investment but once i followed my heart and ended the relationship, my life fell together on its own. ofcourse i was scared as heck and very sad at first, but every single time i think back to the breakup now, i am filled with gratitude because i am 10000x's happier!
If youre not happy in your relationship, either work on it or WALK AWAY. relationships arent meant to fill you with anxiety and doubt, you should feel at ease, and happy most of the time. BE BRAVE AND LEAVE if you know its the right thing to do.

I was in a relationship and he went away to New Zealand to play football for 6 months and we decided when he came back home we would move to Australia so he could go to a better team (I live in Scotland btw) for him the day he came back to tell me he didn’t want to be in a relationship anymore! I left my job and everything to move away for him! I just turned 27 this past May 14th, I cant honestly say that it has been hard for me accepting it. I had a vision of what my life was supposed to be and the reality is so different. I don't know. This might get deleted, but I think a main reason why they ended was because Brett wasn't really doing much in terms of his career. He was just piggy-backing off of her fame and using that to get more views on his own TH-cam channel
He probably relied on her financially - not that he doesn't have a steady income - but you could tell he doesn't try as hard as she does to make a successful career out of TH-cam (in which he doesn't post as frequently as Carli)
He was becoming lazy and too dependent and I'm sure Carli - being a smart, business-savvy woman - started figuring that out after a while which ended in their breakup (amongst other things, I'm sure)

Carli i am so freaking proud of you. You have no idea how much I relate to everything you've gone through and how it feels to breakup with someone you felt could have been your forever. I went through my breakup in 2015 and the process took up until 2017. I too, was scared of the unknown and the effects it would have on my life in the beginning months. I cried so much, I was so depressed - i went through therapy and it was truly the hardest thing I have ever done. But the thing that really pushed me to find happiness was YOU. You have preached since day one that us girls should never settle. I would watch you inner beauty channel videos and videos on this channel where you would give relationship advice and Im telling you - YOU are what gave me the courage to be free and find my happiness. I watched your videos over and over and over until I had enough power in me to find my happiness and put ME first for once in my life. Carli you have no idea how much you have helped me and how much you inspire me. I love you so so much. You gave me the advice I needed to hear when I was scared out of my mind to make a change. I am still improving myself but I can tell you here I am a year after so much happened and I can truly say I AM HAPPY. I know that I still have things to work on and I know there are many things that I want to do and watching you gives me the spark I need to go and chase my dreams. Carli this video seriously fell from the sky for me Im currently 30 weeks pregnant contemplating on ending things with my boyfriend (baby’s dad) he’s currently on vacation right now.. by himself.. And it might not seem like a big deal to most i feel so heartbroken my heart is literally hurting right now because I’ve never felt so alone I work full time 12 hour shifts and it’s killing me and I have to keep on working to pay my pregnancy hospital bills I’m exhausted I’m tired I’m fat I’m swollen and it’s just unfair to me I’ve been nothing but good to him I’m expecting HIS baby and he hasn’t called not once to see how my appointments have been, if I have money to eat ,or just to see how we are doing. I’m also planning my baby shower right now And I’m basically paying for everything I wish he could understand that he left in the least appropriate time I wish he could know how tired I am and how hard this pregnancy has been for me since the beginning. I already know he’s going to come back and try to act like everything is okay but it’s not because he can take weeks off of work to enjoy to himself and I can’t even enjoy my last two months of pregnancy at home resting I feel terrible and I just know I have to end things with him because I don’t deserve to feel like this I’m creating life inside me and no woman should ever have to feel like this I’m scared I’m going to miss him I’m scared it’s going to be harder for me but I just can’t let him treat me like that I needed this So much I’m in tears because you’re giving me strength god bless you for using your platform in the correct way and I’m sorry this was so long I just have no one to vent to and I’m literally hurting thank you Carli for your wise words thank you
Endearing W First of all let me tell you that you are not alone! You will soon discover what true unconditional love is when you hold your baby. Follow your heart and sometimes it's better to be alone than being with someone expecting something they will never be or give us. Being a mom it's one of the hardest roles in life but I guarantee you it's also the most rewarding and so worth it. Stay strong, keep working hard and take all negativity our of your life. Hey love, 🙋🏾💛I really enjoyed the chit chat, I’m sooooooooooo happy for you and I completely understand where you’re coming from, I went through a really bad and abusive very toxic relationship, he cheated on me throughout the whole marriage and abandoned us, it was my first marriage it was a horrible 13years with Freddie Kroger, 😡and trust me when I say, the nightmares are over and I will never have them again, thanks to my Heavenly Father. 💓I was so blessed that The Most High made a way of escape with my 4 children to get somewhere safe and begin to heal. 🦋During the time I was married I was losing me more and more and by the time I was able to get free, I really realized that I lost so much of myself, I didn’t feel good about me, I was going through in my mind, I had low self esteem, my X made me feel that it was my fault, but it wasn’t, but I was just so focus on my children, I just wanted to make sure they were good to go in every area. So fast forward to 9 and half years ago I am remarried and he’s is my King and I’m his Queen and my children love him and he loves them, we are so happy and I never thought I can be soooooo happy and in love like this, Carli you hold your head up high and don’t ever allow anyone to make you feel bad about you being happier than you ever been now, it’s a incredible feeling that someone could love you for you and it’s real. But one of the most important things I received is that I LOVE MYSELF AND IT FEELS AMAZING. Love you sweetie pie, be encouraged, enjoy the journey, because the best is yet to come.🙋🏾💚💋💜💛🦋

Definitely he was such an ass to her ! I always thought it was just me over analyzing but I’m glad you thought so too. He was often belittling her and disrespecting her in the vlogs. I’m glad she got rid of him. Looks aren’t everything, character and morals are the most important. 💁🏻♀️ i hope this man will treat her right. omg carli, I just got out of a 3 year relationship.... I was so comfortable and I struggled for 3 months feeling so unhappy before I finally did the craziest thing I could have ever imagined and ended it. It was soooo scary and so hard. But it has been three weeks and I get happier and happier everyday. Everything you said about taking a risk because you are never guaranteed tomorrow really resonates with me! I thought the same exact thing. Even if we regret it later on, we owe it to ourselves to try and to be happy! I love you girl and totally relate with what you said! Trust me it's the best decision I ever made. And if you have kids, don't think that they don't know how unhappy you are. Set a good example for them by getting out of that situation and striving for more. You got this girl! And I'm 31. You're never too old and it's never too late to do you.

I got married right out of college to my first serious boyfriend. I didn't know better. it was never "right" and it definitely went on longer than it should have. I was miserable everyday, thinking the problem was with me? I was scared of change too. Of being alone. But I also wasn't happy... SO.. I finally decided (before my 30th birthday) to do what was right for me. We ended things. I went off on my own for a while and then I met someone new. And 2 years later we wed. He was/is definitely the one! And I appreciate him so much more because of my past situations... :)

I respect your strength so much in this transition process. Change is never easy, especially when you have been conditioned to something for so long. Breakups and moves are some of the things in life that can send us in a temporary downward spiral but Carli you have the best demeanor and attitude during this process! i’m so proud of you carli! i know how hard it is. i left my child’s father after a year of abuse and although it was only a year it still felt like an eternity. it’s never easy at first but almost a year later and my daughter and i are happier than ever 💞 love you!!!
Life always throws at you unexpected situations.
Change is scary. My husband lost his job at the end of 2016. We had to our sell our dream house that we built in 2014.
Now we are renting and it has been an eye opening experience for us.
Now we hope to rebuild again by next year.
My point to the story is that when things get hard, don't give up hope. Best wishes to you for the next chapter in your life.
