You should definitely try and make it to Homesteaders of America next year. It's in Virginia, Front Royal. I went for the first time this year and they have wonderful topics. It's geared specifically towards homesteading.
When you say farming do you mean Homesteading? I actually don't have any experience farming but I do love to garden. Nothing better than trial and era.

Hello from Oregon it's cold and snowing all around burr. Were going over what we need next year growing but remember when I said learn to make and enjoy pineapple zucchini I tell you it's so good. On pizza, stir fry, upsidedown pineapple cake, ect but I dehydrate yes I so do can't make things in a freeze dry ya . So I opened a jar saved the juice for Jell-O and placed pieces on plastic mesh down on my tray's I then set 130' degrees for 18 hour's once dried to flexible might have some stick when you pull off but take a baggie put one tablespoon of powdered sugar and one tablespoon of corn starch mix and add dried pineapple zucchini shake up and enjoy candy. Yep candy oh smake my hand it's so good not kidding.
