This song means a lot of things for me. It is honest and deep, we're not always okay and sometimes we try to hide our problem and our feelings, but when we scream and accept that the things aren't alright and we had problems, is the first step to be fine again. That's why I always scream with all my heart "Damage". Amazing....

I think it's genius, really, that Joe wrote a song about personal struggle and suffering to almost a waltz; it's beautiful and aggressive; you actually feel it live (was so thankful to see 'em this past year perform this one in their set in Newport, KY). I love that 'damage' is at the top of his register; sometimes he cant hit the note, but honestly, that's when the song really resonates; there's literal damage being done in order for him to convey the want to be and do better and to love himself so he can love others. Maddeningly heavy and complex stuff! That's incredibly brilliant song writing.

This song is so fucking ruthless yet gentle
I remember hearing this song for the first time LIVE at their show in Portland on November '21 just days before Crawler was released. I was so mesmerized cause I've never heard this kind of sound from IDLES before, I absolutely teared up. This song will always hold that memory
I read all the comments mentioning a Girl and I was like "Where is She?" I got so used to Bowen using dress and then realized that it was Tina and not Bowen... Also Dev is looking so healthy, everyone is looking so good mentally and healthy but Dev made the biggest change and I am so happy for him...
As someone who is tomorrow morning getting dropped off at a recovery centre this band are my mantra. Joe, Bowen, Lee, Adam and Jon thank you for the soul you put into this music I’ll forever be indebted and I’ll see you on the other side.

Saw Idles at Connect Festival at Edinburgh end of August was Tina's first gig standing in for Bowen who's partner had just had a baby.
Tina was great and Idles were amazing, best live band I've seen in a long time.

Seen Idles live a couple of times. My favorite show ever was when they performed live in San Antonio. However they absolutely killed NFAMWAP in Dallas. The extended version with the guitar solo was bonkers.
