Lol...my first time seeing IDLES was when I clicked on their NPR tiny desk concert and I have been hooked ever since! Each musician has their own "personality" and together they are unstoppable! I've watched all their videos, concerts and interviews. They are all sincere people with a great sense of humor. I get a joy when they bust out into an 80's song in between songs! Great bunch of guys, I would totally have them over for some beers! Next video after this should be a faster paced song showing them shopping in the store picking up various items! 🤟🤟🤟
Yeah same here!! Onxe I saw that and the KEXP performance I was hooked!!! I absolutely love their authenticity and passion for the music they make. They see the human inside everybody and they understand the true value of life. It's truly beautiful

I love the originality of this video. It’s so simple yet deep. It’s not like your average rock video where all four members are around the camera on some strange set.

Past year I had no job and spent most of my time in home due to quarantine. The only days I used to left my house were when I went with my parents to the supermarket. When this video came out it resonated with me a lot. I was quite depressed, but I began to appreciate these little trips to the market with mom or dad.
This year I got a job and I'm doing better, but sometimes I miss the calm of the past year, and this video works as a refuge to remember that feeling.

Feels like 26/27, or Mayday or Thieves. Funny how these guys are great at doing hard hitting, soul crushing music like Brutalism, but they are also amazing at making peaceful, introspective cuts like these. Thank you Joe, Mark, Lee, Adam, Jon. You guys are the most important band right now.

I love this video. Seeing the lads with their parents, doing everyday things, and just how similar they look is really moving.

...so I assume as of yesterday (July 24th) they're wearing face masks in enclosed public spaces but not including pubs as of course scientists have probably concluded that in these particular venues air molecules circulate in such a way that such facial coverings are not necessary by order of Boris and his goons!

I wish you could tell me why I am so very emotionally attached to your music. I find myself consistently moved to tears, no matter how many times I have listened. There is a sense of being seen through music and lyrics that I just have never really experienced before. This coming from a 50+ year old queer man from the US who's first musical awakening was a Pink Floyd eight track in the 70's.

This is not their most beautiful song, and yet it's the only one that moves me everytime I listen to it. Every time.
It pushes my emotions so high, that ending with “Shame” made me crie, Joe’s voice is fucking perfect on this one! Once again, tremendous job, hope to see you guys in Portugal soon!

Listened to Ultra Mono last night and it blew my mind. It usually take me three solid albums to decide if a band is one of my favorites of all time. I’m happy to say that Idles have now successfully entered that exclusive club. When Covid clears up, they better come back to the U.S. so I can rage like there’s no tomorrow.
