I’m 45 years old and just got out of hospital having had a triple bypass. I feel like I’ve been run over by a bus and I can just about walk 100 yards before I’m exhausted but this song makes me want to continue the fight, thanks boys.

Joe sounded good on their first tunes, Thieves, Two Tone, Meydei, he had more range than he shows now, the guys can play decent enough, they could do a whole album like this easy. Don’t know if they would want to.

I don’t find the need to post on videos often, but this isn’t just music, this is art, and like any masterpiece, it has moved me. The pain in the lyrics and the way Joe sings them match the pain that’s been inside me since I lost my wife two years ago. I am not an angry man, but I am a broken one, and this isn’t something that you either get or you don’t, this song gets me. Thank you, boys, for giving a 35-year-old widower with barely little will to live a bit of catharsis. My pain will come back-it always does-but for the moment, listening to this on repeat, I feel lighter.
Also, if you’ve gotten this far, please do not check out my music. I don’t want any self promotion out of this. I just want to sincerely thank a band I don’t know if I could survive without.

cant stop watch his expressions, the look and anger in his face and voice speaks for itself. i love how they did this. there can always be this invisible force at anytime that drags you down on your knees, and you have to fight to stand up and work yourself forward. fucking love you guys!

Might be my favorite IDLES song now.
This Is a song i will never get tired of. I used to play this song when I started to feel sad or depressed and unfortunately I have been finding myself here more frequently as of late. There are no emotional pain killers but every time I hear the DAMAGE it comes pretty close. I think everyone can conjured up a certain memory with the lyrics and for me these memories just keep coming. Hopefully one day I will look back on this comment and say to my past self that I am finally over this.

The band everyone should be talking about in 2022! If “CRAWL” does not get nominated for the best rock album of the year like EVERYWHERE music as an art form is truly lost for this generation! Heart and soul! This is where it’s at! And people say there’s no good music being made today. This is FIRE and Joe is an incredible singer who understands what makes a great singer! Masterpiece indeed!

This song hits me hard. It's amazing how deep it gets especially when the final verse comes, it's like a fucking overwhelming hurricane ... This band just never ceases to amaze me. This is a beautiful and exciting Punk Ballad down to the core.
I just recently lost my grandmother, who was like a second mother to me. I felt like giving up, I lost someone close to me.
Hearing this. It makes me wanna continue life and learn to love my self and keep pushing forward. It’s something my grandma would of wanted too. Thanks IDLE. You’re music continues to get me through life struggles. You and NIN are my hero’s.

my first listen to this song was on the tv from glastonbury 22 and that performance was insanely genuine.... this song and IDLES have helped me to make breakthroughs in mental health recovery, and this all in the last couple of weeks. incredible how many can relate to the message of IDLES. genius they can represent the feelings of most of the human race at this time. "if you see me down on my knees" and we all have been there to varying degrees. theres also a verse in colossus that has given me a suit of armour to go forward with.

Idles is perhaps the greatest band in the world. Their sound is so unique and their lyrics hit home with such power and purpose. You cannot put them into any musical categories or label them. Thank God we have this band in a world full of just pure bullsh*t.
