I like to show too and I was always hoping for a crossover to power rangers. Only thing I remember is the girl from VR troopers I believe her name was Caitlin or something she was on one of the power rangers seasons as pink ranger

With Kamen Rider Dragon Knight being a critical success. You would've thought that it would spark a new series of an American version of Kamen Rider. I do think it would've been successful. But the ratings say other wise. I think if they had gotten a better time slot. Kamen Rider would be a huge success in the west.
I honestly believe Kabuto would have succeeded as an adaptation. You could even link it to the Beetleborgs in some way if you wanted since the designs are similar.
I would love that. I was never really a fan of Big Bad Beetleborgs growing up, when I found out as I got older about the B-Fighter series, I wanted something similar to the source material. Maybe one day we get something similar.
I’m completely down for giving Kamen Rider another shot, Dragon Knight wasn’t that bad but it’s weird time slots killed it. I mean the show even won a Daytime Emmy for its stunts, give it another chance.
@@collegerebel Sorry bud don't get me wrong re-used footage used to be the main bases in PR. But once that first movie came out. They did start doing more stunts and re-shoots with the costumes here in America. Which was the actual agreement between Toei and Saban. So "few" doesn't really cut it.
Sadly the reason why Kamen rider Dragon Knight was pulled was b/c 4kids didn't want to air it anymore even though it was 2 episodes away from finishing
I feel like what Saban should have done back in the 90s was to make a Toku EU franchise. Power Rangers would be the family oriented show, something which both kids and adults can enjoy thanks to it having a mature style of storytelling that doesn't talk down to its audience, VR Troopers/Masked Rider would be primarily aimed at teens and Young Adults, while Beetleborgs would be the one strictly aimed at kids
I wished that all of the spin-off series like VR Troopers, Masked Riders and Beetleborgs are finally released on to complete DVD collection at last just like the Power Rangers Series.
We need more KR adaptations, ironic cause characters from Metal Heroes keep popping up in more recent seasons of PR and there's all this unused footage for Super Sentai/KR team ups
Ah Este, always such thorough and thought-provoking uploads. The only trouble with this one is that by going off the tokusatsu path and including shows that were all made in the USA means you should rally have included Saban's Los Luchadores in the list.
I genuinely think if Hasbro put in the effort to bring back Masked Rider for a new generation, I think it could be hugely successful. The diversity in designs and gimmicks of the post-Heisei era of Riders lend themselves well for merchandising.
Not gonna happen, Hasbro only has the rights to Super Sentai and Power Rangers. The rights to all the other Toku adaptations done by Saban and their Japanese sources reverted back to Toei during the Disney era. Saban tried to get a Power Rider trademark going, but that attempt died in the crib, and the trademark expired. Toei isn't interested in a new adaptation of Kamen Rider, and the majority of the Kamen Rider fanbase in the west doesn't want a new adaptation, they want the actual show.
I liked beetkeborgs and Mystic knights. Coming from a mostly Irish family I felt a strong connection to it. I always head cannoned mystic knights was connected to mystic force. That this magic war has been going on forever.
VR troopers was so bad I love it so much and Big Bad Beetleborgs actually felt like it took B-Fighter and actually made a unique spin on it that was actually pretty good. I wish it had a proper ending but at last it will never happen
I wouldn't mind seeing a reboot of both masked rider and the mystic knights, I strongly feel like due to far advanced technology and more experienced writers and producers they'd be in a much better position to make those shows work
Masked Rider could Worked but it needs to have the Same Darkter tones as the Kamen Rider shows were based on . The best for Adaptation would be Kamen Rider Ex-Aid the story is not to complex and not that dark compared to Gaim or Build
Never actually noticed the VR mode helmets were MMPR Red clones🤣I watched this when I was like 5 and I'm not 21 was born in 2001 and only just realised that. Maybe that's why I always preferred the VR mode scenes to the others
I vote for both types of shows. Give consumers variety and let them decide what they want. Maybe those other failed shows needed cartoon format verses a live action show.
E-Suad, I think VR Troopers would make for a nice reboot, seeing how VR is coming back in the mainstream. Personally, I would love for Boom Studios to make mini-series out of all of these, mostly Masked Rider.
The Shaider suit upgrade in VR Troopers "revealed the mask" for me in these American adaptations. Shaider was the shit back then even before VR Troopers aired locally.
I would really love to see a reboot of Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog . Even better, they could do a continuation; they did set up a second season in the last episode.
We need to get a BeetleBorg reboot. I live in the town it was filmed in so seeing them all here again will be like my childhood again. It was so cool and I'd love to see it come back and have a proper ending. Also the shows should be subbed and dubbed like Squid Games on Netflix. The sub can be all corny and have its own charm that way too.
As much as I love power growing up with mighty Morphin era. I had the pleasure of watching VR Troopers, Beetle Borg's, Masked Riders, and Mystic knights of Tir nog. Maybe if those shows had been animated like the Ninja turtles back then I feel it may have done better cause you can do so much with it before a live action run. Ninja turtles were way more established with their ark.
about which to bring back from the first 3: 1.beetleborgs (the only one I ever watched) 2. masked rider ( a direct power rangers crossover? and an attempt to bring kamen rider to the west? yes give it a shot) 3. VR troopers ( obviously). bringing back the Irish themed one sounds quite good too, would be 3rd or second choice overall. the Turtles one can stay gone, but wouldn't grumble if it got the modern reboot treatment, as nobody seemed to like it anyway
I can't remember if VR Troopers, Masked Rider or Mystic Knights ever aired here in the UK. But I loved Beetleborgs as a kid, even though I felt it was way more goofier than Power Rangers at times. I get that Saban were aiming for a younger audience, but even kid-me would have liked to have seen more of Shadowborg. I even had the action figures and had them standing beside my bed (no idea what happened to them). To be honest, I actually wouldn't mind seeing it rebooted, but with a storyline closer to that of B-Fighter.
superhuman samurai syber squad is different, Tsuburaya Productions actually helped produce the "adaptation" (I put it in air qouts because it was just english translation of gridman with some changes). Even today Tsuburaya Productions pays tribute to it with the gridman universe( gridman and dynazenon) both of the shows start with ssss
Este, you might be one of my favorite content creators. This video was really interesting! Your content is some of the most informative for Power Rangers, Sentai and everything between. I seriously love your stuff. Plus, you're fun to listen to. That Mystic Knights... I think I had a toy of the woman from a kid's meal. She had a shield n wore white armor. I have never known what that toy was from! The Power truly lies on your side ⚡️
Personally I was a fan of all the adaptations but if they ever were to reboot any I would want Beetleborgs or VR Troopers. I feel with modern tech VR would be very interesting visually and Beetleborgs was always just a fun show at the time
Where the characters teenagers on power rangers or where they young adults. Been awhile since i watched the show, can't remember if they were high school students.
I try to never miss an opportunity to defend Mystic Knights! The characters were well built up, the stories were really fun, They did a rarely good flashback story showing the heroes as little kids, They had some good lessons crammed in there, also they never went down the mind control route; While I do feel some of those stories are interesting, it definitely has become an overused trope. Going back to the show itself, it was fantastic for me, and someday I really want it to come back! Also I like the toys, that's fine you have your own opinion too but they're cool for me.
The problem with power ranger spin offs here in the u.s .is they were all made by Saban ie big bad beetle Borg's and be troopers and masked rider. I remember being in jr high and kids claimed all these shows were power ranger ripoffs not knowing Saban made all these shows lol
I would love to see more adaptations of these types of shows. But i think it has to be within the realm of power rangers. Just like they did in ninja steel and beast morphers with some of the metal heros.
I remember not being able to remember the name of the show masked rider was on. And it was so impossible to try to explain it to people 🤣 I thought his name was green wasp or green hornet
It just shows Saban's laziness. The company had all the costumes and could have created new monsters. But I guess they were like "Nah if we can't reuse footage to equal ridiculous toy sales there's no point"
I used to watch two of these shows when I couldn't watch power rangers and those shows were VR Troopers and Beetleborgs😄 for some reason the other shows never caught my attention🤨
I would love a Kamen Rider or Metal Hero Americanized show, I feel like there's lots of potential there. That or a comic..lol, having them cross over with the Boom Comic Rangers could be fun.
I really liked the Beetleborgs as a kid, and the Knights show. Honestly if I was given a choice back than I would watch the Knights over Power Rangers at one point.
Fun fact VR troopers was originally going to be called Cybertron with only the one hero ( played by Jason David Frank) but not as Tommy. You should be able to find some of the unaired pilot here on you tube
Yes I've seen it on TH-cam it was pretty good. It was just the fact that they offered Tommy to be on power rangers as the Green ranger at the time in which he eventually became the star. I believe he would have done just as well on VR troopers pilot
@@UrbanAlchemystic yep what makes things even more interesting is two of the three main characters done work on power rangers Brad Hawkins ( he played Ryan steel ) was the voice of the gold zep ranger before the powers transfered to Jason. The actress who played Kaitlyn played a ski instructor who had a crush on tommy. That was like right after the letter from Kim and master tao played Trini's instructor on power rangers for like one or two ep
I remember all of the shows that you mentioned, plus Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad. I watched all except the tatooed teenage heroes from Beverly Hills show. I really liked ALL of the adaptations but Mystic Knights and Ninja Turtles were my favorites because of the lore of the show. I feel like I could rewatch any of them at any time and would love to see new episodes.
E SQUAD! I loved the VR Troopers back in the day, was the only spin-off that hit like the classic MMPR. Masked Rider had potential, but wtf were the producers on when they came up with Ferbus?!
I think the thought process was "Toy sales! Toy sales! And more toy sales!" But they never stopped to think "Hey, what if nobody likes this character and putting him in there will only hurt ratings and sales?" (And if someone did say that, the response was "Nonsense! We'll put this stupid stuffed animal in the show and they'll love him, whether they like it or not.")
American adaptations of tokusatsu have little to no demand. Power Rangers continues today solely because of its brand, and even that struggles (the 2017 film is proof of that). And like you said, Mighty Morphin was a once in a lifetime moment and you had to be there. All the other toku adaptations were just store brand Power Rangers to non-fans. As for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, I think it was a one and done deal, so there likely wasn't gonna be anymore shows even if it had respectable ratings and toy sales. Steve and Mike Wang said they wanted to make a movie out of it, but of course that never came to fruition. That's all I know. I just wish the series got a DVD or Blu-ray release. That's the only thing that still bothers me today.
I actually have some of the toys from the Mystic Knights show and I really loved them. Especially the double axe knight. Also there's a lot of opportunity from the Kamen Rider series that have potential.
1. I hope they reboot VR Troopers. With CGI the way it is now, it can be done way better. 2. I had about four or five of the Tir Na Nog villain toys. I forget what the big guy was called, but I had The Ice Lord, the Fire Bat, the Sea Serpent and the Rock Wolf.
The Super Sentai footage Zyuranger, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, etc. have aged like fine when compared to the Metal Heroes footage VR TROOPERS was using at the time!
They can just bring the spin-off characters back for the new power rangers when they do legacy episodes. It would be pretty cool seeing Dex, or the Beetleborgs, fighting alongside the Rangers no matter which team fights
Fun Fact: Jason David Frank played the leader for a VR Troopers preview shown to audiences (back then called Cybertron). I'm guessing he may have played him in the actual show, had the Green Ranger not been so popular
There was only Cybertron when Jdf was involved. Brad Hawkins was originally cast for the new white ranger role. then they just switched the actors and added the 2 other heroes to form VR troopers. Brad Hawkins was supposed to be the Gold Ranger at one point. it's his voice you hear during this first appearance.
@@BalorShieldrad Hawkins did appear as the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers but his voice was uncredited. And Cybertron was actually the working title for VR Troopers.
@michaelodonnell9756 ... the Cybertron pilot JDF filmed featured him as a solo hero. only after JDF returned to mmpr, and Brad Hawkins took the Ryan Steele part it became VR troopers with the addition of the other 2 troopers.
Funny fact: on my country (Brazil), all the original shows that were adapted both in VR Troopers and Masked Rider where exhibited on our open TV: Metalder, Sharivan, Spielvan, Kamen Rider Black and Black RX. Worse: Masked Rider was exhibited ALONG with Kamen Rider Black RX, so no way it would make any success here, specially when Kamen Rider Black (affectionately called here "Mr. Black") was an already stablished character on our land. Funny Fact 2: on Brazil, Spielvan was exhibited as a sequel of "Jaspion", another tokusatsu show who was a great hit here.
Honestly I'm still down to see more american tokusatsu adaptations I don't know I'm a sucker for these types of shows and they actually did help bring the series over here in the west
Like Japanese footage with American actors, or completely original American show? Because I had this idea that can best be described as, "Home Improvement mix with Kappa Mikey." Like Kappa Mikey the show starts with the show within the show being filmed, and ends where the scene is being shot again but is improved upon with the lesson learned in the episode. The Home Improvement aspect comes in with it being a sitcom where the show within the show is locally sonicated with the budget to match, and is the brain child of the star and his childhood best friend, the director. I also thought about doing an April Fool's day episode where instead of a low budget American Tokusatsu show, we get a high budget Baseball Comedy movie. The main character is married to a popular singer, has a daughter, and his mom (who has been mentioned to have passed away several times at this point) has came over to visit. Towards the end of the episode, the mom asked the main character that he doesn't realize he's in a dream, to which he already knew. She asks if her being there is what gave it away, to which he reveals that it was actually the cookie jar turning from a white with orange polkadot duck to a white with orange polkadot cat, to a real white with orange polkadot cat (or something more elaborate). They hug, with the mom quiping that he can let go now, referring to the hug lastly a little too long, to which he responds that he doesn't want to, referring to letting go of her. The episode ends with the main character taking part in a local celebrity baseball game (tying in with the big budget Baseball movie from earlier), talking to his friend about the events that transpired. I'll admit that I probably put more thought into that episode alone, but that's pretty much what I have in mind.
@@evenhartwick4422 There was an adaptation of Ultraman. Two live action adaptations now that I recall. Tiga got an adaptation through 4-Kids. And Ultraman G got one called Ultraman Towards the Future.
As a kid I liked the Kamen rider suit but the story overall didn't interest me enough to watch the show at all however Beetleborgs I absolutely loved when it was airing and I was confused when it stopped because I was a child and had no idea about how the shows worked but I would choose Beetleborgs to come back hands down above all the rest.
After watching B-fighter I'm pretty that there was so much Shadowborg footage left unused. He was a major villain who stuck around and even had a human form with his own "bonder". The fight from the Beetleborgs show was actually the last episode of BFighter.
I wouldn’t want a full reboot for either show. I think this generation of viewers can handle a show that talks about multiple universes or characters and how they collide
Mystic Knights should get a reboot, or at least a remake. Imagine the show within a higher budget, and by extension more elaborate costumes. I say that because I thought about cosplaying as Angus, because he was my favorite growing up, but the photos that I was using for reference made me realize how cheap, and emersion breaking the armors are.
I actually liked Mystic Knights. I enjoyed having knight toys that would fight my dragon toys. I remember the action figures were awesome. Really detailed with a ton of weapons. But maybe this is just nostalgia lol
As I recall, part of the problem with VR troopers was that season 2 didn't air everywhere on standard network tv. Back then, each state/city had their own small broadcast channels with different line ups. VR troopers season 2 got moved to cable tv to recoup costs and ultimately lost viewership ratings. I remember season 2 premiered in my region after the show had been cancelled and reruns of season 1 had been gone for over a year. Mystic knights was a decent show but had a high cost. For one, they filmed on location and had to make all the sets and armors from scratch. The nail in the coffin for them was the heavy use of CGI vs. suit actors and practical effects. A year into the show, The Matrix came out and all the new technologies basically made anything released in the past year look cheap. Also, I'm not gonna lie - I was super hyped for Battle Fury as a child. Beetleborgs ran out of footage and had a sufficient ending but I also seem to recall that one of the main cast wanted to leave the show. They had already recast the Red Striker girl but there was a tv guide interview about one of them on the next project they were doing and how they felt about the previous show. And, the whole, we're gonna ignore power rangers with Masked Rider was super weird to me.
I think the biggest problem any tokusatsu adaptation would face in the west, is that it's not really that marketable. The niche of live-action superheroes fighting rubber suited monsters is already strongly filled by Power Rangers. Since the general population does not know of the Japanese roots of Power Rangers and tokusatsu as a genre itself, they would probably see any other toku adaptation as nothing more than a Power Rangers copycat. And people who do know of the tokusatsu genre probably rather watch the original Japanese shows. All in all, there is no real market for a toku adaption in the west. I did enjoy watching the western tokusatsu shows in the 90's as a kid, though. But that was because I was so addicted to Power Rangers, I would swallow any other show of that type. Especially because my home country of the Netherlands would sometimes air these shows INSTEAD of Power Rangers, rather than alongside it. Looking back at these shows as an old man of 34, I think Mystic Knights is the best of them, as it was its own thing, rather than an adaptation of an existing property. This made the show feel more genuine. Mystic Knights even started my love for the fantasy genre as a whole.
I'm actually intrigued by the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog!! I remember watching some episodes of it here in the Philippines when I was a kid and thought it had a lot of potential. Loved their costumes too!! But........I think you missed Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, and most importantly, the Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills!! HAHAHAHA.
Want to know something?: The rights to both Beetleborgs and VR Troopers are also purchased and owned by Hasbro when they claimed Power Rangers. Not sure about Mystic Knights or Masked Rider as it's either vague, or they're weren't included in the purchase deal umbrella.
Retcon Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog into a Power Rangers Mystic Force prequel. Those ancient knights the powers come from? That's them! Do that. Bring Masked Rider back in an episode of Power Rangers. Maybe involving Alpha 5. No need for a new spin-off, but let us check-in with ol' Dex. Is the actor even still about these days? Would love to see Count Dregon and Zedd's rivalry expanded upon. Zedd's back now, so here's the perfect opportunity. Somebody let the Cosmic Fury writers know, please.
I remember Mystic Knights of Tir(uh however you spell that) being good, but remember.....nothing else at all about it lol. Young Hercules came out about the same time and that was good too
Just learned something new. Was talking about the girl turtle the other day with my brother. Was wondering where she came from. Now I know it was Saban
VR Troopers was a great concept with a bit of a convoluted execution. It would have benefited greatly with some original footage shot in the Metal Heroes costumes to help mesh all the footage together. Beetleborgs, on the other hand, is the shit. I LOVE everything about Beetleborgs. Another full season could've wrapped it all up in a nice little bow.
I know this is being picky but only one of those is actually a “spin-off” to be a spin off it needs to be set in the same continuity. So Masked Rider WAS a spin-off because the character debuted in MMPR. But the others were completely separate. They used same format… but they weren’t spin-offs. Edit: ok, maybe Tutrles KINDA counts.
Also to offer a brief correction, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight was canceled because of low ratings. The last handful of episodes aired exclusively online. The company that did Dragon Knight had the rights to do additional seasons, but no one ever picked them up. There's also 1 series you failed to mention that 4Kids did for Fox that was also canceled due to low ratings because they tried just adapting it with English voice overs- Ultraman Tiga.
They really need to give Kamen Rider another shot. If they adapt it the correct way they could easily make another long running show from it. My nephews love it and constantly ask why there weren't more adaptations of it like Sentai has gotten.
It could be that everything lined up for Power Rangers, or just that with MMPR the higher ups didn't expect a hit. It would be just be a 40 episode show to fill the schedule and buy time for some later hits. Otherwise yeah they wouldn't have planned for Doomsday to be more conclusive. With VR Troopers and up, you could argue they raised their hopes for success. It's like with Nick and Spongebob. They will pull a show after it's clear that it doesn't measure up, but Spongebob Squarepants succeeded only cause it came from a time when Nick had more patience for their properties.
Since Stranger Things is out, I want BeetleBorgs with the kids learning on the work and continuously out of their element. Some Comedy and some serious moment in the show.
Kamen Rider had the issue of being adapted second so it always got compared to Power Rangers which took off in a massive boom during the early 90's. Kamen Rider came and went without much notice in the West but it's funny because that series is huge in Japan, much bigger than Super Sentai. I guess with the latter they keep making shows so it helped with always having new footage to adapt. I wish they would have another crack at it now. VR Troopers and Beetleborgs passed me by, I remember watching some of the first season of VR Troopers and finding it enjoyable but Beetleborgs got released around when I was 11/12 so I I'd pretty much grown out of Power Rangers by then.
VR Troopers Big Bad Beetleborgs and Kamen Rider were all really good and funny wish they would have gotten more episodes. I remember watching all these shows while I was growing up beside power rangers of course
The costumes in TMNT: Next Mutation, were leftover from the canceled TMNT 4 film. It was gonna be shot at a lower budget, and by a different studio (Trimark Pictures). That’s why the quality sucked so bad, because New Line Cinema, and Jim Henson Creature Shop wasn’t involved.
E-Squad, often imitated never duplicated.

I would really like to see them do a Beetleborgs reboot that's more like the original B-Fighter series.
I would love that. I was never really a fan of Big Bad Beetleborgs growing up, when I found out as I got older about the B-Fighter series, I wanted something similar to the source material. Maybe one day we get something similar.
I'm surprised they never tried to give us an American Power Rangers style adaptation of Ultraman.
I’m completely down for giving Kamen Rider another shot, Dragon Knight wasn’t that bad but it’s weird time slots killed it. I mean the show even won a Daytime Emmy for its stunts, give it another chance.
The stunts from the japanese footage or the few american ones?
Bro that show was my childhood use to watch it on the cw4kids around the late 2000s but yk at something I wanna do a rewatch of said show
@@collegerebel the American footage
Kamen Rider Dragon Knight was a pretty good show. Kamen Rider Kabuto, Gaim, and Zero-One should have been adapted for the United States.
We need more KR adaptations, ironic cause characters from Metal Heroes keep popping up in more recent seasons of PR and there's all this unused footage for Super Sentai/KR team ups
God I wanna see the Beetleborgs come back. I remember LOVING that show as a kid
VR Troopers could work if it gets rebooted.
I loved watching VR Troopers and Beetleborgs, I wished they kept continuing this Metal heroes shows adaption
run out of stock footage
Vr troopers was the gritty version of MMPR.
no it wasnt lol
I wouldn't mind seeing a reboot of both masked rider and the mystic knights, I strongly feel like due to far advanced technology and more experienced writers and producers they'd be in a much better position to make those shows work
Mystic Knights...D&D meets Power Rangers...
Masked Rider could Worked but it needs to have the Same Darkter tones as the Kamen Rider shows were based on . The best for Adaptation would be Kamen Rider Ex-Aid the story is not to complex and not that dark compared to Gaim or Build
I feel like I'm the only one who remembers TMNT The Next Mutation... and the mystic knights one!
Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog was my favorite show and it is sad that it will never have a Season 2.
Even better, they could do a continuation; they did set up a second season in the last episode.
unfortunately it was cancelled for the budget for lost galaxy
@@chrisclack4258
Yes, but I think the scripts for the second season still exist.
Ninja turtles were way more established with their ark.
about which to bring back from the first 3:
1.beetleborgs (the only one I ever watched)
2. masked rider ( a direct power rangers crossover? and an attempt to bring kamen rider to the west? yes give it a shot)
I feel with modern tech VR would be very interesting visually and Beetleborgs was always just a fun show at the time
I would love to see them all rebooted. Especially since VR has made a comeback in pop culture.
Where the characters teenagers on power rangers or where they young adults. Been awhile since i watched the show, can't remember if they were high school students.
@@KentPetersonmoney Jason was 18 billy was 23 when filming started
I try to never miss an opportunity to defend Mystic Knights! The characters were well built up, the stories were really fun, They did a rarely good flashback story showing the heroes as little kids, They had some good lessons crammed in there, also they never went down the mind control route; While I do feel some of those stories are interesting, it definitely has become an overused trope. Going back to the show itself, it was fantastic for me, and someday I really want it to come back! Also I like the toys, that's fine you have your own opinion too but they're cool for me.
Yūta Mochizuki who played Geki in zyuranger also portrayed Kouji Segawa in Kamen Rider J
This!
Awesome video 👍 Este thanks for the heads-up and Ranger update E-Squad I'm so glad that I can never miss an Este update thanks
goat behavior
@@UrbanAlchemystic yep what makes things even more interesting is two of the three main characters done work on power rangers
Brad Hawkins ( he played Ryan steel ) was the voice of the gold zep ranger before the powers transfered to Jason.
Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad was made by DiC in association with Tsuburaya.
Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog's medieval fantasy concept should be used for Power Rangers Dino Fury from the very start. That concept was rare.
Kamen rider definitely needs to come back to the states, either as an adaptation or just subbed and released.
Would be cool if they brought back mystic knights
That's the only thing that still bothers me today.
hi allie
There’s also Mini-Force. Season three is called Super Dino Power and it’s 100% Power Ranger themed.
For your question about a reboot, I'd love to see one of Beetleborgs.
@Zachle Mentor Come to think of it, yeah, that would be good! Well, maybe keep it that the powers come from a comic, but not the monsters.
VR Troopers was the Power Rangers we DESERVED... but not the Power Rangers we NEEDED at the time. 😏
Fun Fact: Jason David Frank played the leader for a VR Troopers preview shown to audiences (back then called Cybertron). I'm guessing he may have played him in the actual show, had the Green Ranger not been so popular
no his character of Tommy was popular
@michaelodonnell9756 here's the cybertron pilot with JDF th-cam.com/video/Px52AkqelEk/w-d-xo.html
I'm surprised they never tried to give us an americanized adaptation Ultraman.
@@evenhartwick4422 yeah all 4kids did was just dub it and look how far that went
@@evenhartwick4422
There was an adaptation of Ultraman. Two live action adaptations now that I recall. Tiga got an adaptation through 4-Kids. And Ultraman G got one called Ultraman Towards the Future.
I love big bad Beetleborgs and Mystic Knights .
Where is the best place to watch bfighter
@@shanedennis6407 I dont know. The placed I watched it on is unavailable. Also it wasn't subbed.
I wish Masked Rider would've appeared on MMPR to help them and vice versa. I needed to see Dex and Alpha interact.
I liked Beetleborgs and Masked Rider. I had Beetleborg action figures when I was a kid.
Saban wanted to conquer the world with Tokusatstu adapted shows.
VR Troopers is the most worthy of a reboot in my opinion
Thank you for this!! No one I know remembers Beetle Borgs or Mystic Knights!
I like to see VR Troppers revisioned.. however virtual reality doesn't really feature now. And Mystic Knights
I liked how the cast of VR Troopers voiced dubbed an episode and made a mature spoof.
HAHAHAHA.
He did mention those shows in the video, though.
@@VicenteTorresAliasVits Oh right that's true, would have wanted to see more though, but that's alrght. :D:D:D:D
Want to know something?:
The rights to both Beetleborgs and VR Troopers are also purchased and owned by Hasbro when they claimed Power Rangers.
There's also 1 series you failed to mention that 4Kids did for Fox that was also canceled due to low ratings because they tried just adapting it with English voice overs- Ultraman Tiga.
thx i didn’t kno that
They really need to give Kamen Rider another shot.
Beetleborgs would be cool to see again maybe a new approach like how they're trying with power rangers with adult and kid content
Esquad really do be the Kame - Masked Rider community I enjoy 6:20
I loved VR Troopers growing up I still have the videogame for the Genesis.
Mystic Knights was a great show. Wish it lasted longer or make a come back.
