I just booked my hotel at citizen m in ny. Thanks for sharing this video! Really helped with my decision. This seems like a great choice for my first time traveling solo. I really like the small space, makes me feel like im being hugged

I recently stayed at Citizen M in Seattle earlier this month. I watched your video first and afterward decided it was the right type of hotel for me. How much are the rooms like a single ?
@@livanlaynez1238 I stayed at Citizen M in Seattle in January for 5 nights. My total was $543. I think all the rooms are the same but you may want to call to verify. I hope this helps.

Anyone have an idea on the list of breakfast options at this location? I've never paid for a per night breakfast rate at a hotel, but im considering it since its a nice place
Hey just wanted to say I watched your video before booking at this hotel. Ended up really loving it, though as a solo traveler, the tight quarters were less of an issue.

@@GreyEyesReviews Thanks. Definitely one of the more memorable (in a good way) hotels I've stayed at. The staff were really good and the location was perfect for me, as I was attending an anime convention at Washington State Convention Center.

It would depend on the location :) For example this Seattle location doesn't have much of an option for views (if you're low enough, you may see the garden in between the building (I believe). While in NYC, you can pay an extra fee to get a "premium room". That would be available for applicable locations on the booking page :) I hope this helps!
Adding a tablet and color changing lights to a shower doesn’t change the fact their hotels are lousy.
If you’re traveling alone, have a small enough suitcase, and don’t mind the toilet in the shower; your expectations will probably be met at any hotel.
That's totally understandable. :) I'd say this hotel isn't for everyone. We certainly enjoyed it due to the ambiance that the entire property had. The rooms were really just for sleeping. I do appreciate your comment tho! :) Good to hear more opinions!
Can you tell me how safe you felt walking in area? I’m deciding between the pioneer square location and south lake union.
We had absolutely zero issue. Mind you, I was with my husband the entire time, but I never felt uncomfortable and we were out walking pretty late. Just like any city, stuck to main streets and studied our paths without stopping often to look at maps. (: I don’t think we ubered much after checking in to citizen m. We walked the majority of the time.
Now, if you’re out late, then there may be some folks who can get rowdy but that’s just about any city you visit. If you’re out pretty late and unsure, never hurts to call a ride share. But again-in all the days we were out, I never felt uncomfortable. The streets are pretty well lit too (: which I LOVED.

Do you know what the cost of adding the breakfast is?
Yes, the breakfast is $18.95 per person, per night. We did not end up getting it since we had so many spots planned around Seattle, but from the looks of it, it was a nice spread that was available each morning! If you don't add it on while you're booking online...you can still add it on while you're there :). They make this super simple, which is AWESOME!
Did you have movies available in the room? I stayed with citizenM a couple of days ago and there was no entertainment in the room and my chromecast didn't work :( Previously, the rooms had an amazing movie selection included in the price.
They did have some movies available during one stay, however we mostly stuck to the general channels that were available after a long day of exploring. I will mention that I could not connect my iPhone to control the tv. Thanks so much for bringing that up!! And thank you for your view and comment (:
