I love watching these videos but part of what these apartment tours helpful or entertaining is knowing the price and/or area of these apartments. That was the only thing I wish you added to the video.

Once you're moved, you may like Daiso for cheap, convenient organization solutions. Lynnwood location currently has the best overall stock but the one that opened near Shoreline is not bad either.

I don’t know if someone else said this already. When we asked about the price changes in the summer, one complex told us it is Amazon. They rent a ton of apartments for their summer interns, which leaves fewer units on the market, so they are more expensive.

Yes and medical school interns as well from my understanding. On top of that school is getting out, families have more free time (generally) people are graduating and moving away, people are moving in before the new school year, and it's just overall more pleasant to move when it's warm instead of lugging couches around in cold rain. Oh the joys of supply and demand.

You are correct about the pricing differences! I worked in a leasing office for a little bit in Redmond, WA. Nov-Feb had the best prices while May-Sept had some of the highest. Another factor that can impact your pricing is the number of available units and how long units have been on the market. I got a great deal on a move in February when three 2B1B units were all available for rent. Happy to chat sometime if you have any questions about the different areas or property managers. 👍

I don’t know how I stumbled across this video but I’m here and enjoyed watching this. But just as a little tip, gas stoves (the ones with the coils) are actually much cheaper than electric! A good way to save money.

We stayed in Seattle for 8 months after my husband had a kidney transplant. We stayed in several buildings. They all had their pros and cons. Plus we have an almost 2,000 sqf house, to apartments that were between 450-700 was pretty hard!!! lol Loved seeing all of the places you checked out!

The outdoors space…. A umbrella table and chairs it will make you feel better coffee on the patio. If you don’t like it in a year move , plus tip for remove and save the hardware and buy some black ones you love. Save the apartment make your place yours good luck

What neighborhoods and prices are these apartments? Are you renting or buying?

Hopefully in a few years you can buy something. I purchased a new condo about 23 years ago and it was the best thing I've ever done.

Great job but you gotta include prices, at a minimum, and locations to actually make this valuable for someone looking. Otherwise it's just entertainment which is fine and might be your objective.

I'm not sure this is still the case but the weirdest thing I learned at a leasing office in 2019 is that we actually use Craigslist and update regularly.

As a local, I recommend Zillow for transplants and Craigslist for locals.
Craigslist has amazing gems occasionally, but many many scams. If you don’t know every neighborhood or sketch area, then you may land yourself in a bad spot.

I feel like expectations must be low if having a window in the bedroom is a big plus 😅😅
I think you probably chose patio but I would choose cheap because you will only really wanna use a patio a few months out of the year in Seattle.

Hi Kyana, ive lived in Seattle all my life and AC units are not required in Seattle. Most apts do not have because it doesnt get hot enough. Its a gorgeous city. I know you will love it.
