I'm a super noob, can someone explain why the transducer mounted below the kayak then also a 'livescope' transducer pole? Do they do different things? Is there an all in one transducer option?
How long is your paddle? I’m 5’9 tall and also have the Old Town Sportsman PDL 120 (has Navarre seat riser). Trying to figure the right size length paddle for me.
I wonder if I can get a captains bridge/crossbar for the Catch PWR? 🤔 You and Lucas make me want to get one. I think it would be nice. Keel Guard is a great price because even DIY ones are expensive. Great video, Jay.
Can I ask what kayak would you recommend for a first timer, that is a bigger guy my weight is 265-270 I’m 6’2”. I’m not looking to spend a a bunch of money just incase I don’t like fishing from the kayak or like being in the water. The lakes where I like always have big boats on them flying around. So I am not sure I I will like kayaking or not. I do see people in them in the water but I also see them get out of the water and soon as the big boats start moving around. So I am looking for something that I will be happy with for a few years and that will be fun to upgrade. Thanks for all the great dad jokes.

Appreciate you bro! Setting it up on the Mk is the same as setting it up on the AP or PDL. Check out my recent livescope install and let me know what you think.
So, I pulled from a couple of you videos to install my livescope. I used the Navarre handle for the ram mount, and then I used the Summit pole mount for the transducer. That sniper pole is Sweet, but a lil more than I'd like to spend right now. Lol I also grabbed that transducer mount as well. Salute to you for these videos bro. You’ve had the most informative videos I've come across on here, and it's helped me tremendously. Keep applying pressure out here with these videos bro. ✊🏿✊🏿

Livescope is a directional live sonar that needs to be pointed and therefore needs to be on a pole that spins.
Had a question about the magnetic Killswitch have you had any problems out of it or is there a way to improve it?
I haven’t had any issues. But I bought a few backups to keep around in case I lose it.

Mine is 230cm but I need a longer one. It’s be easier to use since the AP sits so high.
Does the Transducer mount you mentioned inhibit side imaging since the transducer is closer to the hull ?
