What David Jason is saying in the beginning, is so true!! you have to have a laugh in order to deal with what you have to deal with, but still showing respect to the Dead and the living, at the same time, however how can you not love A Touch of Frost David Jason such an amazing actor. ❤

Best British drama ever, with the best of Britain's 'finest' actors! Sir David Jason is just brilliant in this!. as for the whole cast, but he definitely brings it together combining fine acting and his black humour to it all to make it even more enjoyable for viewers!. He is a true legend and i think best actor that Britain's seen but that just my opinion. Thank you R.D Wingfield.
We have a national treasure in David Jason, the whole cast of ATOF are fantastic. Believable, entertaining and engaging. One of the best tv shows ever imo.
I love this show, I bought the dvd boxset of every episode and even though I know who the murderer is every time I put an episode on I've seen them so much, it's still a fantastic ride to the reveal.

I bumped into John Lyons in Leeds train station and had a chat with him,it was when they had filmed the final endings of the show, but he didn't know which one they were going to use. He was a really nice guy, he was meeting his wife there,and when she turned up i left as i didn't want to intrude anymore on his privacy DS Toolan is John Lyons - great guy

Just binged the series, and will do again soon :) As a huge fan of "Only fools and horses", I really expected nothing short of brilliant from Sir David Jason, but the rest of the crew was awesome as well. Very well directed, great scripts, well worth watching it again. Love from Serbia!
Just finished watching a 2020 John Lyons interview, so naturally..... This was adorable fun to watch! Poor John, l can relate.-l could probably get that jar filled faster than a sailor on shore leave!!🤭🤫🌈🇨🇦☘️⚜️
it's nice to see a genuine fun-loving smile on David Jason's face. I completely buy into his gruff but clever and lovable old sod character ... BUTT, at the beginning of so many episodes when he walks up to the bars and then "breaks the 4th wall" as he cracks a sort of knowing/endearing smile, it feels rather forced, even as he "invites us" into the joke with him.
Brilliant David Jason is a fantastic actor loved everything he's been in. Touch of frost is defo one of the top ones in my opinion. Lovely to see David's and his brother Arthur act together just like they did in the Darling buds of May. x
I have been hooked since I first watched Only fools and Horses back in the 80's and Sir David Jason has always been a favorite of mine. I was totally blown away from the first episode of "A touch of Frost." His character Jack Frost is the complete opposite of his loveable character Del boy. I lost count because of how many times I have watched the whole series. I actually just finished watching Season 11 and now on season 12. Sir David Jason thank you for your contribution to entertainment.

Well it wasn't the only reason, but it is true, the characters less of a dirty old man in the adaption, but then again david Jason's Frost is much more....softer, if that's the right word, but both versions of the character are pretty good
I only recently discovered the series, and I absolutely love David Jason. I haven't read the books, so I don't know how close his portrayal of the character is, but I couldn't imagine any other actor playing the part. In fact, I think I wouldn't enjoy the series as much if Frost wasn't played by David Jason.

I enjoyed the series and the great police characters, but I think David Jason was grossly miscast as Frost. His best work was in "Open All Hours".
