i really like how non-modest he is. he's still humble but he's aware of how huge he has become and how much he's able to do. he's not toning it down or making it sound like less than it is. jimmy is so awesome

He could easily get an announcement exclusive basically anywhere (any show, outlet, podcast), but he sticks with the YT community ecosystem.

I'm late here but I'm not gonna lie i think his newest video (Ages 1 - 100 Decide Who Wins $250,000) was too slow. Every other "slow" video of his i loved but that one just felt too slow.

Honestly his singular vision of TH-cam is refreshing. So many youtubers want to be something else, to prove that they're more than just a "youtuber". The fact that Mr. Beast leans into it so heavily and has yet seen the highest level of success on the platform should be an inspiration to other content creators that you don't need the respect/recognition of people outside of your platform to have ultimate fulfillment.
Never seen a single mr beast episode but everytime I see this dude he just seems so wholesome. Never brags, always kind and all about the viewers. Love this dude.

The one thing that has stayed so consistent about this man is his dedication to the craft. He is truly a visionary whose only motivation is to keep reaching the next level. At any time this guy could just cash out, or keep milking the same video formats but he keeps pushing to raise the bar. Excited to see where this eventually lands.
The way he reaches unbelievable milestones between these (yearly) interviews and every time making the earlier ones seem smaller is the perfect example of always trying and being better than yesterday, better than the previous video... The most highlighted lesson for a creator.

i REALLY appreciate these interviews as a content creator for almost 10 years now, i'm not one to really prioritize much outside of making the thing that i'm making fun to watch all the way through. i'm also sort of self limited in scope in terms of content i want to make (gaming, entertainment, me) so seeing the biggest person on the platform talk about his processes and goals involved is incredibly insightful. I have the same mindset when it comes to creating content i have an interest in, fiscal mindset not so much LOL. The scope of what he's doing at any moment still feels baffling. Thanks for the vido 👍

Yeah actually... I get what they want to convey but MrBeast is alway evolving. And I think MrBeast is much more than just viral
his youtube videos have definately reached a saturation point. which is why its a good thing he's branching out into showrunning
I think something I've noticed is that Jimmy sometimes assumes things he did were always wrong, rather than the audiences and tastes develop. Almost not giving his past self enough credit.
For example, in my limited understanding/opinion, the "Open mouth thumbnails" were popular because people came to TH-cam for the stuff they couldn't see on TV and were expecting shocking or out of this world stuff and that expression is a picture form of it. However, as TH-cam has become more mainstream, people want reality. I think his past decision to use them wasn't a mistake, but a sign of the time.
Of course, I'm not claiming to know more than Jimmy, he is an absolute genius when it comes to his content and I'm subscribed and am in constant awe of his business decisions. 100% respect to him. Just surprised at how little credit he gives his past self.
I suspect that he's hard on himself like that on purpose I would imagine to keep himself in the game. He literally outdoes himself on almost every video which frankly I could never do. Cheers!

Sounds interesting what you said, he might use that mindset to push forward. If he constantly feels like he did not do good enough he will push himself to do better. Otherwise he would start to feel comfortable and not push as hard.

@thelifewithnate that's a fair point. I'm a designer, professionally, and I'm hard on my designs, too. Maybe I would sound the same. I just think it's important to also feel accomplished even if you want to do even better. But that's easier said than done.

The section of this on "slowing things down" and how his content has gotten a bit slower over time was very interesting. Would love to see his edit team take a run at one of his older videos and extend it from a 12 min runtime to a 22 min runtime and see the difference. I would think it would be a great way to actually feel what you are talking about; and would also be very educational.
I completely agree, since the algorithm on TH-cam is different than any other, now you see MrBeast who averages 100s of millions of viewers. He has been carrying for a while, but the real question can he still, *and* do it better??
Many of his earlier videos were kind of annoying for me, but still mostly fun. The latest ones have definitely been better and having him update one of those old ones would be really interesting.

Mr. Beast is probably one of my favourite youtubers - without me even watching more than one of his videos a month or less on average, and without being subscribed to him. Feels like many people would agree - just a great guy - and the world does indeed need more of people like him. However, there's not much "knowledge" or anything of value you gain from his videos - mostly pure excitement of "oh, a nail does not go through a concrete wall whereas a tank does" - but all is done to an extreme standard of quality. A month ago randomly found Feastables chocolate bars here in Latvia at a local grocery store (Maxima which is a lithuanian chain) - they were alright, nothing particularly incredible about them - the price seemed slightly increased to me, and almost the entire shop shelf was empty - but the chocolate itself didn't seem to be anything wildly special (this in contraversy (Edited: jesus contrary not contraversy) to Mr Beast's claims that his product is heads above anything produced by Pepsi (Mars etc.) or Hershey's). Also - anyone disputing his endeavours in helping people (regaining their eyesight etc, etc, etc) - just stop. Stop being idiots. Also - this comment is never going to be read (there are more than 2.5 thousand of them and counting). Also - best of luck to the podcast - and Mr. Beast himself - from Latvia.

Interviews with Jimmy are always a great watch but the most interesting part to me is how, even when off his channel and being long-form interviewed by C&S, he can never turn off his YT video checklist (thinking about creating hooks for them in the beginning, foreshadowing to create retention, explaining to the viewer what they're seeing, etc).

It's truly inspiring to witness the monumental success of MrBeast. As someone who has carved out my own path in the dorky acappella world, I deeply admire the way MrBeast has redefined what's possible.... this historic deal for a competition series on Amazon's Prime Video is freaking incredible and holy heck the Title Exploder AI tools look absolutely game-changing for content creators!!! This will empower creators like never before I've gotten a sneak peek myself and holy moly....
Yes and no. In theory mostly yes, but in practice it's mostly no. Anyone truly can achieve anything, but not everyone can achieve everything. There are tons of moving pieces here that all came together PERFECTLY for MrBeast: yes, his insane creativity and work ethic (nobody can deny that), but also perfect timing with/on TH-cam, crazy support from his mom (the fact he was able to live at home, for free, without holding a steady job while working on his videos: 99% of kids/families live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford that luxury), algorithm, the whole social media generation of people (let's be honest, without that and TH-cam he'd probably just have a regular job) etc. You can imagine there were millions of people just like him who were simply born decades before the internet and who would do amazing things online if there only were such a thing as "online". It's in a way like winning the lottery. Ask lots of those lottery winners about it and most of them will tell you they had dreams about the right numbers, they were manifesting it, blah, blah... Others will say it was just luck. It's probably both. Also, there are different levels to "winning the lottery" as someone wins $100k, someone else wins $10 million and someone wins over a $1 billion! So yeah, anyone can theoretically achieve the highest level of success, but not everyone can achieve the highest level of success. Someone will end up with 100k subscribers after 10 years and someone will have dozens of millions after just a single year.
Right! Not to mention his mindset. It is almost comical how incredible it is 😅

They have probably already been chosen a long time ago by MrBeast privately as with all other videos/challenges of his. There is no "signing up", you basically have to pray and hope he chooses you and invites you. But yeah, this show is already finalized in terms of who the contestants are if they are already doing it as far as the production goes etc.

Never watched this show but from this episode Samir carry’s the show
I really enjoy this interview, love seeing just a nice chat with famous faces and as a big fan of reality tv, I'm excited to see what's in store. I love Wipeout (alot alot), Survivor, Big Brother, the new Deal or No Deal Island, or most shows. I do hope the editing isn't so fast paced so I'm glad it's a bit of a hybrid but also I agree with what Jimmy said on how he doesn't like confessionals/thought cutaways during a challenge as it really breaks the mood especially during something that's so insane or intense. That's something I love Deal or No Deal Island/Survivor not doing. Something that makes me love reality competition shows is when you find someone you can root for, depending on what the show is (if its a social game or something like crazy/funny challenges) maybe you'd want a villain in there but regardless, a good show must have a great format/challenges/what the show is itself. Then the editing/execution has to be good too, one of the things the Wipeout revival has that I don't like is the pacing of how they don't even show a full run on all of the obstacles, however they fixed that in their newest season. Finally, depending on what the show is, good commentary/host. Jimmy has always been pretty good at his own videos though. Good luck to Jimmy and his show as I am excited to see it!!

Hey guys! Love your work. I'm a Spanish speaking subscriber and I want to give you feedback on your dubbing, it's literal word for word and many things are lost in translation. For example: "it's your second time in the chair" translates into something like "it's your second time in the sit".
I think they used ElevenLabs voice cloing and google translate? I don't think it's actually done by humans
@@basimbaig if that's the case, they should translate and then translate back to English so they can see the mistakes (at least in shorter videos)
