    The Regera goes direct drive at 270 kmph. Till then the Torque converter allowed it to put down more wheel torque. But as you can see, Regera makes 1757 HP on E85, which compensates for it being 200 kg heavier than Jesko. It is still the most powerful Egg.

      Koenigsegg Regera is completely a luxury car having the quickest 0-400 km/h acceleration and best 400-0 km/h braking
      Straight line speed is the main thing about Regera
      And it's Faster than those fully blown track cars like McLaren Senna and GT3RS around a twisty tracks or turns

    The lack of aerodynamic braking in the Jesko Absolut is noticeable, hence the difference in braking time.

      we are comparing 0-400 km/h Acceleration here Regera is matching more aerodynamic Jesko Absolut acceleration
      We don't know how much power Regera makes
      That's what this video is all about
      Not the braking or deceleration
      Regera braked from 403 kph to 0
      Jesko Absolut braked from 413 km/h to Zero
      VBOX only measured the 0-400-0 on both cars

      @@Smzxe Even if Jesko were going faster when it start to brake (10km/h diff), at some point the braking difference is over 35km/h.
      Regera has 450kg of downforce at 250km/h (where 310kg are coming just from the rear dinamic spoiler) and Jesko 40kg at same speed.

    And also yes the regera does have 1.31mw on e85. This is confirmed by so many sources: dragtimes video, supercar blondie, multiple dealership websites, stradman, egg registry and the fact that the regera has a little badge in its engine bay where most regeras have 1.11mw but some 1.31mw aka the car has the e85 upgrade. I believe CVK himself slightly mentions it aswell in Jay Leno's video. Why did it run on petrol in the dyno? And why is koenigsegg kinda quiet and unclear about it? Marketing. It gives comparatively less power on the regera than other models bc of the ev motors, regera is not so much about the power, performance etc but about the KDD. Also the e85 upgrade hasn't been popular on the regera and lastly it would make the jesko for example not look so good bc it would have less power, and also regera isn't in production anymore so they probably don't care so much about starting to change everything we know about the car etc.

    The thing is. The regera in the video has the ghost package. Which increases downforce by like around 20% or something (roughly from like 370-380kg @250kmh to around 460-470kg @250kmh). he jesko absolut has like 150kg downforce at 250kmh or something like that. The regera would be even faster without the ghost package (probably not quite as fast as the jesko but still). Why does it have it? I'm think they just simply don't own a regera test car with e85 upgrade and without the ghost package (plus the ghost pakcage looks way cooler for marketing purposes etc). Also i'm a firm beliver in them being able to launch a bit quicker aswell than just like 3,2-3,3. The regera's "promised" 2,8 might be a bit of a utopia condition time but i defo think a 3second 100kmh is possible for both of them.

      Even with higher downforce package its beating Jesko to 250 km/h
      And keeping up the pace all the way too 400 km/h
      Only 10 km/h behind
      Surely if Regera had less drag it can beat Jesko absolut to at least 370 km/h and closer till 400 kph
      They said Regera was spinning wheels at 270 km/h
      But the Jesko absolut had faster 300-350 km/h where it gained most of the lead and the 350-400 kph is similar
      0-100 kph under 2.8 seconds not possible on this kind of surface
      Need a surface like roads on Autobahn etc with hot tires
      Not a concrete runway where traction coefficient is lesser than Normal roads

      @@Smzxe Not that Eggs have been known for great launching. Also 0-100 kmph is at least 0.12-0.15 sec faster than 0-60 mph, which is what most manufacturers quote.

      @@srinitaaigaura if you ask me Regera and Jesko got really good launch on this surface 0-100 km/h 2.9 seconds for Jesko and 0-100 kph 3.0 seconds for Regera according to VBOX verified readings
      On similar surface McLaren P1 and modern Ferrari 296 GTB does 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds on same surface
      So Jesko Absolut and Regera had much better launch than those cars which is extremely impressive
      If you missed a thing Jesko Absolut did 0-100 mph in 4.8 seconds on VBOX
      Which is again extremely fast quicker a AWD Porsche 992 Turbo S
      0-60 mph is only 0.08 sec quicker than 0-100 km/h
      60 mph is 97 km/h
      In RWD cars 0-60 mph difference could be 0.1 sec
      In AWD cars 0-60 mph and 0-100 km/h difference is only between 0.05 sec or 0.08 sec
      Matt Wattson did 0-60 mph in 2.30 seconds in Chiron SuperSport
      And the minibox showed 0-100 km/h 2.37 seconds
      Same thing with Porsche 911 Turbo S
      0-60 mph in 2.51 seconds
      And 0-100 km/h 2.55 seconds
      They are extremely quick
      Dragtimes actually got 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds in 2024 Turbo S
      0-100 km/h 2.45 seconds

    The reason why the koenigsegg Jesko absolut wasn’t able to go 1 second faster than regera because regera went 200km/h faster than Jesko absolut.(Slow motion replay)

    If this was done on a prepped surface the times are obviously going to be better

      Many AWD cars go left and right on prepped surface and some them crashed like the McLaren P1 or 765 or the GTRs swerwing left and right
      what about broken driveshaft spinning going sideways and crashing on prepped surface?
      Not suitable for 1600 HP RWD cars
      You will need to update the launch control of Jesko first
      Regera can do fine

    The regera on paper has 2100 horsepower but E-motors and ICE dont produce peak power at thesame time so it should have less than that but the question is what is that exact number? Personally i dont believe its 1500hp i think its more

      He says when torque converter locks up at 170 km/h that's when it reaches peek power mainly from 200-400 km/h and maximum power at 370+ km/h
      Still the the 0-200 km/h on Regera is extremely quick 6.1 seconds is quicker than a AWD Tesla Plaid
      Still no HP graph on Regera during the VBOX runs
      Like Rimac Nevera showed KW during its run 0-400 it peeked 1280 Kilowatts around 1840 HP only from 120-230 mph
      Power drops to 1100 KW after 230+ mph
      And it only used 1000 KW to avoid wheelspin from 0-115 mph
      This thing has over 2300 Nm if it used full power on the launch it will overwhelm the tires it will literally melt the rubbers on all 4 tires
      Bugatti literally shows 1615 HP on its gauge cluster
      It literally peeks 1600 HP and 1600 Nm in every gear 🤣🤣 this is scary Andy Wallace said Chiron SS has so much torque available even at lower RPMs in higher gears
      1st gear it showed 1580 HP
      2nd gear at 7000 RPM it shows 1605 HP
      3rd gear 7000 RPM still shows 1614 HP
      And till the 5th gear at 212 mph it showed 1615 HP
      6th gear goes till 415 km/h or 258 mph
      7th gear goes from 415-495+ km/h maybe 500 km/h nobody knows
      It didn't had enough runway reach that speed
      2021 to 2023 Chiron SuperSport have limited top speed at 273 mph just electrically limited because of tires limitations total 50-60 2021-23 Chiron SuperSports
      There are 30 production units 2020 Chiron SS 300+ they might reach 310+ mph
      They are lighter little bit
      Since the 2019 Chiron SS 300+ protoype had no passager seat but it had Rollcage computers cameras GPS equipments inside the car and the 80 kg of Fuel for top speed run
      So it was heavier than production models
      Still managed to hit 304.77 mph

      @@Smzxe Steve Hamilton was at the koenigsegg factory when they dyno'd a jesko and it made 1600 horsepower but no one has dyno'd a regera... I'd imagine crazy numbers from that honestly. The gemera is yet to do a run but I wonder how much it'll weigh with 4 seats and being a hybrid

      Where does this 2000 Nm comes from????

      Jesko Absolut 1600 HP 1500 Nm
      Regera has much higher torque surely Regera has over 1800+ HP

      @@lovelehstuff They did dyno a Regera, but they got 1564 HP. It wasn't running on E85 because it needs something called an environmental upgrade package which is a 6 figure option. Many customers didn't take it. A lot of people didn't get it when I pointed that out and they thought I was simply adding 1100+700 HP to get 1800 HP. Nope. The engine makes about 1400 on E85 apparently.

      But Regera definitely puts down between 1600-1700 HP on the ground
      Since it out 1564 HP on Dyno with 15% drivetrain loss
      Without drivetrain loss applied 1600+ HP easily
      Koenigsegg own Dyno shows power According to real world environment as they said similar power as real life as the Regera puts on the ground
      On different Dyno different HP

      Or it's the 2000 Nm of Torque which is helping Regera get this kind of acceleration

    The Regera can manage its power far better in the traction speeds simply because it has 800hp of electric motor power. Electric motors are far better than traction control…
    Add to that the Regera has far more power under the curve due to the combined electric and combustion power.
    At higher speeds a narrower power band does not hurt your acceleration as much as its always in the peak power area.

      Torque converter locks at up 170 km/h
      Regera doesn't have full power before the 170 kmph
      It still is able to match Jesko Absolut acceleration and beat it to 200 km/h and 250 km/h slightly
      Jesko has gear ratios which is totally made for maximum acceleration and longer last 2 gears made for top speed
      While it had only 10 km/h Faster 300-400 km/h than Regera only because of less aero drag coefficient
      Note Jesko Absolut gear ratios are too short
      1st 2nd 3rd 4th gear at 117 km/h gears are extremely short gears made for maximum acceleration
      5th gear of Jesko is also short it goes 140 km/h to 180 kph
      6th gear at 180 km/h to 240 kph
      Then Jesko clicks 7th gear gear at 240 km/h
      8th gear goes from 304 km/h to 415 km/h
      9th gear 415-520 km/h
      Whatever top speed this thing has
      While Regera is able to match the acceleration of Jesko absolut early shorter gears
      And even on top end Regera is similar only 10 kph behind
      Regera is just absolutely crazy

      @@Smzxe I just wanted to point out that koennigsegg's " light speed " gearbox is great in terms of volume, weight, speed o number of gears. But also have some drawbacks compared with a regular dual clutch gearbox. The engineers lose freedom to set the different gear ratios as they are related to each other.

      Still the Regera is able to match Jesko Absolut acceleration and keep up on top end as well
      7th gear goes from 240-300 kph
      8th 300-415 km/h
      9th 415-500+???
      Jesko clicks 4 gears just under 115 km/h
      Those gears are extremely short giving it maximum amount of acceleration
      5-6th gears are shorter as well giving it even better mid range acceleration
      And 7th 8th 9th gears are longer
