Those are aftermarket kits that I don’t think are being made now. Strange looking switches. Lots of alternatives, but to convert back, you probably need to replace the fake Super-only wood panel. Might as well replace the cut door panels. Cheyenne is the only company that makes retro panels that let you replace the metal trim. I doubt you could get parts to fix these aftermarket mechanisms. I would go back to cranks and get new door panels since they have screw holes now. Or install a different electric window kit. Cheaper.
I think this is worth what you can get, but I just found my friend an 83 3+3 K30 Dually GMC in fabulous perfect condition, not a flaw, with an ultra fine motor and a manual gearbox. Belonged to a famous Pontiac racer and it was his personal show truck. It was 19k. I think you probably paid 5 or 6 for this off Craigslist and it should be worth maybe 10 since you are a dealer and you have gone through it. Needs a repaint and a correct interior. Corvette motor is out of place here. It’s nice, though. People want original motors, and usually the 400. Love your truck, including the grease pen marks, but I’m not the usual buyer. Hope you saved the hood. It’s probably something someone like me would want.
No I paid more than that. And no I'm not a dealer. Just love old stuff. And I've seen worse than this for sale for 20k and up, so I think my price is fair. Not many low mileage trucks around any more. And you can't compair an 83 dually to this. They are a completely different truck. Most 83s are junk and no desirable. This truck is. Corvette motor makes it badass. Different opinions, but to each his own.
@@WagsAutomotive First of all...you don’t have an ad or a price. Second, these trucks are a special market. The c10’s are hot. Not sure about the c20’s, and they usually have a bigger engine than a 350. The earlier ones had a 396 and this year had the 400. A collector wants a matching motor, at least of the same type. That’s a collector. If a rodder wants this...fine. You might be better off selling the Vette motor, as those are desirable. I would sell it and put a stock 350 or a 400 in this so it would run on lower octane gas, as it used to do.
@@johnhowardesq the earlier models had the big block in them. This one came with a 350, as indicated on the badging. And what's better than a Corvette 350? I wish it were a numbers matching truck but it's not. So at this point changing the engine would be a waste of time and money. I'm selling it as is. Again, a difference of opinion.
dude im fixing this truck right now mine has 70K original miles. any tips for the journey let me know. its not in TOO bad of shape honestly only a few things to do before it runs. should fire up this weekend if all goes right
One of my all-time favorite trucks.
Thanks! So tell me what you think it's worth?
15 k
@@raymondgross9167 I think a little more than that...
Hey ask for the most, settle somewhere in the middle
@@WagsAutomotive LOL $16,275 as it sits today. Bed needs painted, and the AC Refrigerant probably needs serviced.
Hi 👋 brother
Do you still have it ?
Nope I sold it not long after I made this video. 👍
I had one just like that best truck ever
You should buy this one! 😁
That is a sweet truck Dave..
Thank you! So what do you think it's worth?
I wouldn't have any idea.. what are you asking?
I'm not going to say. Just want to see what others opinions are first.
Never made that truck with power windows. Tailgate looks like it’s a 71 cause the disc brake sticker.
That's one opinion....
