There is a great hack I’ve been doing with the Flex. You can use 4 long implements if you put the tools in the right order. Mine right now is have the large diamond file on the outside and scissors next to it. The scissors you have to file down handle to fit but works great. On the left I have the saw then the knife.
Leatherman warranty replaced my broken PST with a new Bond. I have been carrying it for a week now. Got to say the Bond is an excellent choice for an entry level Leatherman multi tool. The Core is still my favorite follow by my Gerber MP600.
Ordered a SQT2048 on black friday sale. Can’t wait for my first multitool. I looked at leathermans for over a month and none of the models were good enough to justify the price. I’m praying the QC guy in the Chinese SQT factory gives me a good quality 2048 😭
I’m fascinated by the Roxon flex potential for upgrading as new parts become available, maintaining it if something breaks and the company even supplies blueprints for whoever needs to make their own add ons. (I’ve already been looking on how to make some implements, I’ll try to share that soon)
Love all these wave clones that due to having a 1/4 bit driver are arguably better than the real thing. Same can be said about the surge clones. The true utility I've looked at and nearly hit the go button but I generally want a decent pair of scissors and screwdrivers and blade. It only ticks two. And well done to Roxon, they're killing it with their awesome tools in Australia I haven't been able to get the m1 but the flex just became available I'd already have ordered it but I just spent bit ordering the gerber strata while I can and the nextorch pioneer that I only saw last night so immediately ordered 😂 but the flex and all the bits is on the shopping list. Just depends on if keep finding discontinued models as theyre in limited supply when found. I wish I could find a nextool green hornet or any of the balance copies. Great video
G'day mate. We feel that a regular long term use update will be welcome on the Tube especially with a following like yours including a quick fix/mod vid. Do you have any idea who makes Roxon? Cheers from Australia.
I actually at the time didn't think about sending it back unfortunately before Amazon's return windows expired. I guess I could look into warranty from the company.
Sorry any kind of replaceable wire cutter is crap that's the main feature of an electricianal tool cutting wires we are just now replacing them in 2024 give me a break will you obviously it means that they were working the whole time😢
The first 2 tools he has shown in the video have a better set of wire cutters than any Victorinox multitool. They cut copper stranded wire like butter. I also feel confident when it comes to cutting something harder since I have a replacement set. I still have memories of sending my Swisstool and waiting for months for them to fix it and paying for shipment because I cut something the tool clearly should have been able to cut, but that plier head is softer than cottage cheese and is a horrible stranded copper wire cutter. A cutter should cut, no? I call them wire chewers.

Nice!
Very happy with the flex so far. Love the scalpel blade. Just waiting for the bit driver!
You have just demonstrated that LTG is no longer invincible....Good job!😊

Nice!
I saw that the Decamping DL7 went on sale for $40, at the usual place. At that price it is a great deal.
Definitely!!
I bought a couple, because I was inspired by that orange one you built. So many cool Charge cover plates out there.
@@morte2195 Definitely! Let me know how the build goes!
Great video!!
Thanks!
Is that a 1/4" bit driver on the sqt2048? If it is then that's a buy for me
It is!

just got the SQT 2048A myself
Very cool! How do you like it?
@@hvacbudget8600 its not bad so far i needed something a bit smaller then my mossy oak and i like the micro driver just in case i need to fix glasses.
👍🏼good vid. I almost like the little roxon. 🙂
What are the dimensions of the flex? I've seen people talk about the weight, but can't find the thickness anywhere
Just put out a short video answering your questions, hope it helps. 5/8" or 1 1/2 centimeters wide.
Hi, love your video reviews. Can you tell whcih ones of these budget brands is better? Namely SQT2048-A; Dokoyu DK1; Daicamping DL7; Bibury KT2048?
I think basically they are the same tool with different names from the same factory.

Robin Sun is the owner of this company. He and his team have been doing a great job lately!
With the True, did they warranty replace it for you?

@hvacbudget8600 lol I have a ton of broken stuff too.
