Perhaps the greatest female standup comedienne and comedy actress of all. RIP Victoria Wood, the Pride of Prestwich. Gone too soon but not to be forgotten.
What a brilliant comedienne she was there was no one else like her, a good actress as well I remember seeing her in a drama on T. V. What a special person.
Her comment about the council demolishing the street made me laugh. Ironic that British councils have destroyed more neighborhoohs than the Luftwaffe ever did.
never do guilt, but always feel special :-) I'm always happy to be corrected if I've made a mistake. Plus, it's added more words to the search - I'm sure we all know how difficult some clips are to find so the more keywords, the better. Hope you're having a great weekend.
Fantastic writing, as always from VW, but I really do think Julie Walters would have given a better rendition. Probably just committed heresy, but that's my opinion.

A great dramatic actress as well, "Housewife, 49", and a marvelous writer.
One of the great comedians of all time, female or not. She and Sean Lock are my personal top two.
"Every gusset a memory!" Pure class!
This Lady was a joy to watch. Such a great comedien.
I can’t believe how long Victoria is gone now... RIP 💐💝
I hope she knew how much we loved her. RIP Victoria
The stage direction for this reads "An old bag is folding laundry". Even the parts of her scripts that the viewer never knew about are hilarious.
21 year old Spaniard so I won't pretend to understand all the references but I do find Victoria Wood completely hilarious
it is amazing how much victoria wood did, always more pops up. i left britain in '86, so i bet there are tons of stuff i havent seen

And thanks too for the Celia Imrie/Duncan Preston anti-mugging sketch: had forgotten that completely.

Just so clever xx

TAAAAAA for posting this Trevor lad. Love your comments Johnpaul Dixon!
RIP. :( The world's a little bit less funny today.
It's so sad, she was still very young in reality but cancer took her. A long fight and that's how it ended 😓
Her comment about the council demolishing the street made me laugh. Ironic that British councils have destroyed more neighborhoohs than the Luftwaffe ever did.
Such a loss.😣
every word genius.

@CodyKunLvsGackt - no problem - most of the others had titles on screen but this didn't... I'll change it for you now :-)

I think you might be right. I did find her marginally funnier but they were both streets ahead of anyone else.
i like the fake documentary where the girl goes to university
