Thank you for helping me fix my issue. The cmos battery had come loose so it kept throwing this issue even after replacing with new cmos battery. Following this has sorted my issue. Thanks.

I was trying to do a power reboot and it led me to this ,all I did was take out the battery and I got invalid partition error ... I'm gonna do what you said and hope it works
@J-KOB99 I'm sorry to hear about the issue you've experienced. From my experience, such settings can typically be reverted in the BIOS. I've never encountered this particular problem before, but adjusting the BIOS settings is often a reliable solution.
@@pkaycr well, im fighting with my laptop and all of the settings there for like 12h... its 2am and i am after a factory reset and well... lets say i tried for 40minutes to even get dell logo after that... i dont know what i did wrong yet, but i will find out
@@pkaycr well im still trying, after dmc commends to scan and fix files, booting forever nothing much changes, once it turn on 1st time, once after 5 times, sometimes after battery on/off and then booting again. running UEFI now, but issue occuring nonstop... im beginning to loose hope in this laptop

Replace your cmos battery. It may not be saving the settings because of this.
