Omg, this video saved me. I’m a mechanical engineering student at UPRM and for some reason, my laptop’s battery fell off while I was carrying it to a printer. I don’t even know how that happened, but since the laptop was on when that happened, I knew it was going to need a reboot. I spent like an hour trying to fix that invalid partition table problem. Still valid to this day - october 2023. Thanks a lot for pointing out how to fix this problem. According to Dell website - it is sufficient to update to latest BIOS - but that didn't do jack... (and I was already on latest BIOS anyway) Switching to UEFI boot in BIOS was the actual fix!
It worked for me too! the problem appeared after a short circuit on the motherboard, after I repaired the motherboard I came across this error and I didn't realize what it is, with your help I solved it, thank you very much!

This finally solved my issue My issue was that laptop didn't showed wifi. Tried to system restore to a previous point, it failed, and laptop won't start. Tried everything, then installed windows from a new flash drive. Tried to keep my data didn't work. Then tried with erasing all my data. After that this same error came, which was finally solved

I got my latitude E7240 wet, couldn't get it going, but had the same model that I had wanted to use for school- this model was just sitting around because it needed a new windows license- bought it a while back on Ebay. So I switched hard drives but got the Invalid Partition table error. This helped me work around it and use my computer.

My son gaming all the time slowed down my computer so I cloned another operating system which worked well but got PARTITION TABLE ERROR....you saved me so much time not having to do a clean windows install and install all of my programs again. Can I buy you an ice cream? I had MORE luck...why? My laptop is EXACTLY the same as yours-Dell Latitude. Maybe this only happens to Dells? Shouldn't boot ALWAYS be UEFI instead of legacy? What if it’s a desktop, and your bios doesn’t have UEFI because it’s old AF
When i select uefi and apply then uefi option automatically unselect and legacy selected, please solve my issue
