Just a Lawn Mower :D Same. I've got characters that are somewhat(unintentionally)similar to canon characters, but they're very balanced out. I even made Spottedleaf a villain and gave her a very complex story. I'll give you a very short summary: I made her very different, she's a full-on stalker fascinated/aroused by the sight of blood, and she's very sensitive and gives into things very easily. She's constantly battling between her conscience and urges, she's lonely because she also sees herself as a threat and shuts herself out from the rest of the world. She just wants to be loved and accepted. That's why she ended up in the Dark Forest eventually. When Firestar turned her down, she got so upset and angry that she forced him to mate with her sometimes. She let the anger consume her and she wanted to kill Sandstorm and Firestar. Unfortunately, he always dodges death. She got kicked out of StarClan because of that and her secret. She joined the villains and starting training very quickly.

Each main arc is six books. There are five completed main arcs right now, plus one which has 4 books so far. That makes 40 books. That's not including the mangas, the novella collections , the Special Editions, the field guides or even the two play scripts.
There are over sixty published books in the series.
To all the people over reacting about the six or more books, he's technically not wrong
Insanitykit triggers me, in the series kits are normally named after object in nature (Ex. Bumblekit) or tbe color of their pelt (Ex. Graykit) I have not seen any example in any of the books where a kit is named from a freaking mental state or medical condition.
Also, cat in the blood is a charecter called scourge who slaughtered multiple cats. I know You dont care but I'm a nerd so..... Yeah I had to say it.

Manga and comics are literally the same thing. "Manga" is just the Japanese word for comic.
Takumi Did Nothing Wrong there's a few differences between manga and comics though.
The reason why Japanese comics are different from western comics is because they're made in a completely different country with a completely different culture. They still have all of the basic qualities for comics ("sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes...word balloons"--Wikipedia). Of course, using the word "manga" when talking about Japanese comics is okay, but saying they aren't comics is simply incorrect.

I will say this, a lot of the people drawing this art are only about 11-14 years old. That's the general age range of people who are really into Warriors, and a lot of this art is the first art they've made in their lives. Especially the digital stuff is going to look a little rough, because this is people's first few attempts at doing art at all, and they're drawing things that are interesting to them, which, when you're twelve, tends to be stuff like Naruto or Warriors or Minecraft or Pokemon. It's goofy, but it's really mostly coming from kids

Her name was Roseclaw. She was a pink cat with that weird emo hair and blue eyes. She had really long claws and, guess what, SHE HAD A “DARK/INSANE SIDE.” Her dark side was triggered by getting a deep wound in on her chest. When in her dark form she was practically invincible and would kill as she pleased. Somehow she still had a mate and a kit. Got she was an awful character. I have art of her on my old DA account.

One sentence will explain much of these art problems, (dang spell check is annoying) . Cats are very, very, very hard to draw, simply because of how they are built .
Alright, let me break it down for ya.
I've been a fan of the Warriors series ever since I was in elementary school, it's been almost a decade. I own every book, every guide, every super edition, almost every Warriors book you can own. I always always recommend giving them a read. They're short and easy, but the love and care put in the books is so prevalent. Erin Hunter (Who, fun fact, is actually not one person) really did a fantastic job at creating a world that could realistically fit inside ours. These books hold a special place in my heart.
I'm an older fan and have long outgrown the target demographic, so I'm also looking at this from a bit of an outsider's perspective. The Warriors fan base is generally split into two. First we have the older fans, like me, who genuinely like the books and either read them growing up or read them with their children. We respect the books and enjoy reading them. And then we have the pre-teens who want to seem edgy and cool and "different".
This video (and all the content you make) is wonderful. You really made good objective statements and you always say ways you personally think the artist can improve. I respect that. I was worried when I clicked on this video because the series means so much to me, worried that I would be angry or hurt. But as I watched, I was reminded that you are very respectful in all your videos. You do your best to speak from at least a somewhat informed stance.
This comment is a hot mess. Onto the points you made about the series itself in the video:
1) The Naming System:
This you got fairly correct, but you looked a bit too far into it. There's not much to the prefixes of the names, but they do follow the patterns you pointed out. Well done, I failed to notice that before.
2) "Warriors Is My Favourite Manga"
...There actually is a manga adaptation. I did not enjoy it. I do not recommend it.
Other than those two you got everything generally correct. Of course, I recommend reading at least the first two books of the first saga; Into the Wild and Fire and Ice. They're very quick reads but they're pretty fantastic.

Started reading it in elementary and middleschool, dropped it by 8th grade because it got so fucking repetitive. The fandom is just cringe as shit. Plus lots of the characters were irrational af or just plain stupid and the Erin's CANT AGREE ON ANYTHING, NOT EVEN THE EYE COLOR OF A CAT

Olivia Woloshyn actually, in terms of the most seen part of the fandom, it isn’t. the book deals with pretty dark themes, and it has pretty gruesome deaths. although there are some kids you can find online and drawing edgy OCs, the more active part of the fandom is actually more of older tweens, teens and occasionally adults.
Olivia Woloshyn It's really no wonder that there are so many edgy OC's in the fandom-the series deals with infanticide, a child/preteen being mauled by a dog and scarred for life, postpartum depression, murder, mass killings, corrupted leaders, massive constructed lies, gruesome details of infected wounds, descriptions of after-battle scenes that leave nothing to the imagination-I could go on for days. But it's still a very well thought out series that I like to think taught me and shared me into the person I am today. I might be biased.
Warrior Cats: That one book series where cats die gruesome deaths and also have drama and a religion :D

While I understand where you are coming from, I have to disagree. The definition of Anime is Japanese animation so if you make an animation of the same style but it’s made by a non-Japanese company, than it is not anime. With manga it is similar but not the same case. Manga is written in Japanese and is read in the traditional Japanese way which is right to left. When manga is being translated into English it’s done by a non-Japanese company. The English versions, even though they are made by a non-Japanese company, remain to be read from right to left just like the originals. This is still called manga because of its origins and it’s still seen as a Japanese graphic novel because of this. If the original graphic novel with the same style originated from a non-Japanese company than it’s hard to consider it as manga.
Therefore, any animation or graphic novel made by a non-Japanese company (even if styles are similar) can’t be considered anime or manga.
