I'm so happy you've finally brought in Seether. Now you must go down the rabbit hole. "Rise above this", "Fine again", "The gift", and "The Truth" are all songs you should do... among many others. This band got me through some of the darkest times of my life.
Absolutely love seether , rise above this is my favourite song. Singing about his brother who jumped off a roof and how it affected the family. Powerful stuff.
Linkin Park - Given Up. You won't find a more emotionally intense song. As someone who has struggled with suicidal thoughts for 20+ years (despite many successes) this song always hits so damn hard.
@@DragonTigerBoss yeah I know, I graduated high-school in 2004 and that song was super popular. I actually met the lead singer Jacoby, nice dude. His kid took swim lessons at the pool I worked at.
I feel bad that I missed this Seether and a bunch of others I hold deeply in my heart for the way I've lived Seether and others keep me going every day through my sobriety and keep me overcoming my depression most people don't listen to them like I do they remind me everyday who I am now and who I could have been then stay healthy and stay happy
If you want another great emotional female singer look into early flyleaf if you have not already. She sings a lot about her struggles. Loving what you do, it really helps. Keep well and thank you. I would choose "arise" but there are many great songs.

Wow. I own one Seether album...which is common with my AuDHD. I tend to only listen to ONE record by an artist over and over again. Usually. It's just how it usually is. I have Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces and I LOVE IT! It has a nice amount of anger. I prefer music with laughter or anger. I contain sadness already. If I need to release it I prefer scripted content like Field of Dreams. A beautiful film about regret and healing. Kevin Costner says, "Dad?" and the floods begin. I can barely even THINK about that scene and I tear-up.
Please explore seethers discography, I've been a fan of the band since they were unknown playing in pubs and clubs here in south africa. Shaun Morgan's writing is the reason I'm still on here. I relate to all his lyrics and I'm the same age of him. So yeah, seether don't know it but they are the reason I never went full suicide.
3:33 Sh!t, this hit so close to home. I’m living this RIGHT NOW, as I’m going through a divorce and my daughter is going back to our home country with her mom in a couple of days. I need to process this pain, to find my resolution in this journey. I know this is going to be the best for her, but it doesn’t make it any easier… Thank you for this video, I really needed this.

So, i used to listen to this song all the time.. and i always thought of my DAD, who committed suicide when i was 21. I never looked up the meaning because i assumed it was a relationship breakup song, but i always felt this in my bones when i went through this loss. So thank you for actually looking up the meaning because now, i literally feel like this is a song about dad and me. Talking to each other even though we cant hear each other anymore
A great song with a follow up from the end of Amy and Shauns relationships with Call Me When Your Sober by Evanescence. It ls like two songs, covering the two sides of a relationship.

This is one of those songs that when it came out I played on repeat 2 to 3 times a day. The Gift was a heartbreaker if you understand what’s the song is about. Pass Slowly as a father brought me to tears cause is the reality of parents on modern times. Seether really touched some nerves on me on the 2ks. Of course my playlist is incomplete if I don’t include Seether, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Steelheart She’s Gone song, my favorite new generation metal, and independent cover band called Liliac. So much more since I’m a big fan of musical diversity. I can hear anything as long as is not reggaeton, hip hop, or most rap songs. Classical is the heavy Metal of refined people 😂. That’s why when is mixed with metal it completes each other.
This is my and my husbands wedding song. Everyone said we were nuts for choosing a song that was sad (bc Shawn and Amy had broken up) but we thought it fit beautifully. We had both experienced parental loss early in life and this song feels like it acknowledges pain and personal weakness while realizing that together you are stronger. Maybe I’m just an optimistic person but this song shows hope for the future.

Nightwish. Most people start with Ghost Love Score (most reacted video in TH-cam history), however The Poet and The Pendulum fits this channel perfectly
I used to listen to this song all the time when I was deployed with the US Military .... we kinda choose to go away in support of our country in order to support our families .... and we say goodbye never really knowing...
I love this song, great harmonies of Shaun and Amy, and n interesting backstory to the song, right? You wouldn’t think of it when you listen to it and / or watch the video. Seether have another great one, an amazing cover of “Careless Whisper” from George Michael with an interesting story as well why Shaun covered it 😊
I'm glad that you reviewed Seether's song Broken. It's one of my favorite Seether songs. Please, can you do a review of Seether's new album The Surface Seems So Far? To me, as a long time Seether fan(since2005), this is the most emotionally deep album Seether ever did. Keep rockin' 🤘🏻 ❤️ 🤘🏻
Gotta love TH-cam! Stumbled on this series of videos and am hooked! Can i make a suggestion for a future analysis? Love the song 'Release' by Pearl Jam and in particular this live version - "Pearl Jam Live from Rome, Italy June 26th 2018". This song hits home because my father passed 12 years ago now.... "i'll wait up in the dark for you to speak to me. I'll open up, Release me..." The yearning in Eddie's voice is so poignant. Thanks and keep up the work you are doing!!!
That's another reason that music is so much more than just that because it allows and helps to channel so much people may otherwise not know how to express... they can hear a song that resonates and be like yes that's it that's exactly how that feels how could I not find the words to explain..and writing likewise is the same when you can't get the words out in conversation for fear of being judged or not understood freeform writing just channeling thoughts.
Didnt know thats what this song is actually about.. reminds me of when I had to leave my 2yr old daughter to join the military to better our lives financially and her mom and I were just fighting way too often. I got out of all my training to find out she lost my apartment with all my belongings out of spite.
Have you ever reviewed within Temptation- somewhere. That song always made me emotional. Every since I lost my dad this year I haven't been able to listen to it. It's a beautiful song and I recommend giving a listen
Oh my dear, you have to do Halestorm featuring Amy Lee - Break In. Not sure if you have done Halestorm but Lzzy Hale is fire. Check out I Am The Fire and I miss the misery.
I know this video is a month old now.. but this song "Broken" is actually part of a series of back and forth songs between Sether's main singer and Amy Lee from Evanescence (as the two were in a really rocky relationship at the time) Broken, Call me when you're Sober, and Breakdown, are the 3 songs i know.... i think there is a 4th one as well with "Fine Again", but not sure if its actually from that back and forth or not....
I always say its a shame Seether is mostly known for having made a song with Amy Lee. Don't get me wrong, Amy Lee is amazing, and so is this song. ( Even to a point, where every time you are at a Seether Concert, and they do play this song, people will shout, " Where is Amy " , must sting a bit also for them, having made so much amazing music, and the fact they where together and had a hard break up ) But Seether have made so many amazing songs, there lyrics are deep, and meaningful. The front singer can sing, his voice is insane. This band deserve to be more known, But most people just listen to this one song, and then move on from them. Or as part as learning about Amy Lee. And that to me is a shame. To name a few songs to do by Seether that will show a bit of everything, because they have emotional down to earth songs, rock, heavy rock and metal songs. One of the down to earth emotional ones could be : Tied my hands live. th-cam.com/video/pULe7-6yRo4/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO Another could be there cover of Careless Whisper. th-cam.com/video/I7imqO-OBVk/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherRarities Or just an overall amazing song in : Fine Again th-cam.com/video/oUP6gnO6FV8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Seether-Topic Or a song about a loss he had because of suicide, something that made him donate and do a lot to help with that issue. ( He lost his brother, part of why he had a drinking problem, but also why he got sober. And started singing and donating for mental health ) th-cam.com/video/qP6JDLQF23g/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO Or one of there harder songs : Gasoline th-cam.com/video/mF53On_P7qI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO One of the newer ones could be : Forsaken th-cam.com/video/nBkns12to18/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=bcpop1997 Or one of my favorites : The Gift th-cam.com/video/vJUuzAnaWp0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO Even if you do not react to them, they are all worth listening to.
Shaun ( born Welgemoed and Original band Saron Gas) is proudly Born South African. I love this song as their voices are so good together. I love Amy. Fun Fact: he changed his surname cause Americans ,mostly, could pronounce the "G" sound in his surname which is uniquely South African
This song hits home because Amy reminds me of a woman that I dated right after college and I was obsessed with Thomas Jane’s Punisher. I should have married her but 20 years later she has a family and I am single. Funny how life works out.
Maaan this song was a classic the day it rolled out already ♥ A bit unrelated, but could you do something on abuse, something like "LOTTE - So wie Ich". Not sure if it's that interesting, but I find the very simple lyrics cover the whole range of fear, guilt and helpless anger one feels after being abused.

Nightwish. Most people start with Ghost Love Score (most reacted video in TH-cam history), however The Poet and The Pendulum fits this channel perfectly
Really enjoying the reactions, great work.
While She Sleeps - To The Flowers, would be a great one to have a look at
Seether is my favorite band. Like the original better but that's just me. Shawn used to do this song acoustic during concerts.
Seether have another great one, an amazing cover of “Careless Whisper” from George Michael with an interesting story as well why Shaun covered it 😊
Fine again by seether. So. So good
Wished their relationship would've made it. They were primed to make a lot more beautiful music together.
beautiful song.
I'm glad that you reviewed Seether's song Broken. It's one of my favorite Seether songs.
Please, can you do a review of Seether's new album The Surface Seems So Far?
To me, as a long time Seether fan(since2005), this is the most emotionally deep album Seether ever did. Keep rockin' 🤘🏻 ❤️ 🤘🏻
you give the exact type of feedback I hope for when I share poetry with certain people… makes me want to write again lol
Esta canción siempre a sido es fija en mi Playlist!!
Love this song. If only i had a partner to share it with 😢❤
Most people don’t realize he is the high voice on the chorse and Amy Lee is definitely the queen
you inspired me to make my own channel doing the Catholic reaction, seether is my favorite band
That's another reason that music is so much more than just that because it allows and helps to channel so much people may otherwise not know how to express... they can hear a song that resonates and be like yes that's it that's exactly how that feels how could I not find the words to explain..and writing likewise is the same when you can't get the words out in conversation for fear of being judged or not understood freeform writing just channeling thoughts.
amy's voice is goddess tier
now... call when you're sober by evanescence
One of the best duets ever
I love love Seether!!!
I remember when I used to cover seether. I always wanted to find someone to do amy's parts. Or...just have Amy do it with me. ;)
You should really add Breakdown by Seether to your list, one of my faves from a long time fan!
You should do some more seether
Oh my dear, you have to do Halestorm featuring Amy Lee - Break In. Not sure if you have done Halestorm but Lzzy Hale is fire. Check out I Am The Fire and I miss the misery.
I always thought this was about their breakup. Well that's my new thing I learned for today.
Great song. Love the series. Would love to see you react to some ADTR, especially something like 2nd Sucks.
I know this video is a month old now.. but this song "Broken" is actually part of a series of back and forth songs between Sether's main singer and Amy Lee from Evanescence (as the two were in a really rocky relationship at the time)
Broken, Call me when you're Sober, and Breakdown, are the 3 songs i know.... i think there is a 4th one as well with "Fine Again", but not sure if its actually from that back and forth or not....
Hey u
_You know me from another place, but i’m here just to say_
*CAN’T WAIT TO SEE TYPE O NEGATIVE* 🧛🏽♂️
Other great female vocalists from bands I've listened to are Flyleaf, Icon For Hire, Evanescence (obviously) Halestorm and In This Moment.
Amy Lee, the voice of an angel
Seether's cover of "Careless Whisper" is sooo goood
Gotta do the Saron Gas (Seether before they changed their name) version of Tied My Hands. That shit hurts
Amy Lee is an actual queen.
Peak early 2000s. Ahhh, memories!
I always say its a shame Seether is mostly known for having made a song with Amy Lee.
Don't get me wrong, Amy Lee is amazing, and so is this song. ( Even to a point, where every time you are at a Seether Concert, and they do play this song, people will shout, " Where is Amy " , must sting a bit also for them, having made so much amazing music, and the fact they where together and had a hard break up )
But Seether have made so many amazing songs, there lyrics are deep, and meaningful.
One of the down to earth emotional ones could be : Tied my hands live.
th-cam.com/video/pULe7-6yRo4/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO
Another could be there cover of Careless Whisper.
th-cam.com/video/I7imqO-OBVk/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherRarities
Or just an overall amazing song in : Fine Again
th-cam.com/video/oUP6gnO6FV8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Seether-Topic
Or a song about a loss he had because of suicide, something that made him donate and do a lot to help with that issue.
( He lost his brother, part of why he had a drinking problem, but also why he got sober. And started singing and donating for mental health )
th-cam.com/video/qP6JDLQF23g/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO
Or one of there harder songs : Gasoline
th-cam.com/video/mF53On_P7qI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO
One of the newer ones could be : Forsaken
th-cam.com/video/nBkns12to18/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=bcpop1997
Or one of my favorites : The Gift
th-cam.com/video/vJUuzAnaWp0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SeetherVEVO
Even if you do not react to them, they are all worth listening to.
Shaun ( born Welgemoed and Original band Saron Gas) is proudly Born South African. I love this song as their voices are so good together. I love Amy. Fun Fact: he changed his surname cause Americans ,mostly, could pronounce the "G" sound in his surname which is uniquely South African
Amy Lee the goat of female artist what a voice
This song hits home because Amy reminds me of a woman that I dated right after college and I was obsessed with Thomas Jane’s Punisher. I should have married her but 20 years later she has a family and I am single. Funny how life works out.
Maaan this song was a classic the day it rolled out already ♥
A bit unrelated, but could you do something on abuse, something like "LOTTE - So wie Ich". Not sure if it's that interesting, but I find the very simple lyrics cover the whole range of fear, guilt and helpless anger one feels after being abused.
