i actually love how the transformers adapt their movements depending of what they need in a fight, they don't come with their jiu jitsu, karate or tae kwondo fight style, they just fight in a way it suits them, and that's why sometimes their movements looks stupid and simple, but are actually brutal if a hit or shoot lands on the enemy, and they also don't go for weak points to weak their enemy, they always go for the kill, so a punch through the chest, a face cut in half, losing arms, your head being blown, losing a leg like ratchet, you not gonna find that amount of brutality in a movie with humans, maybe some scenes with arms and leg cuts but they just show a lot of blood and nothing else.
It's kill or be killed in Trasformers...cause also the good guys die brutally...
That's what I love about transformers, their brutality kills are epic!

Let's just stop and think for a few seconds. Is there actually anyone better for directing Transformers? No. Sure the stories aren't that great, and no we don't care about the human side of things. But when it comes to the robot action, nobody can top Michael Bay. With all that he does in the action scenes, he is the best choice for directing these movies. Hate on it if you want, that's just my opinion.
Edit: This comment I made 8 years ago when I was 15 for some reason is getting so much attention. I was really defending my favorite film franchise without accepting its flaws. "Hate on it if you want, that's just my opinion" I would punch 15 year old me if I could.
I don't think people want Bay gone. It's just that if he's gonna try to do a human story and comedy, he should co-direct with someone more experienced in that field. He does CGI and action scenes, someone else does story, characters, and comedy. Win-Win.

I completely agree, there could have been far worse attempts and adaptations into making a Transformers movie, and although Michael Bay isn't the ideal director for any type of film with substance, he does what the franchise is supposed to be about, robots fighting robots. People go into certain films expecting way too much, I mean do you really go into films like these expecting an emotional pull from the Autobots? or be moved by Megatron's actions into controlling the human race? No. Stop complaining for films that are giving you as much as they're advertising, and enjoy the film.
Let's be honest here, the sound design team all need a raise.

I wanna see a prequel film about the war on Cybertron. No humans, just Transformers fighting the war that devastated Cybertron.
People keep saying this, but a movie like that would require a huge budget. CGI is expensive. I would friggin love a movie on Cybertron, but it just can't happen. But the Cybertron video games are very fulfilling.
PFM719 an all CGI is possible. Look at all the stupid movies like "Walking With Dinosaurs." Sure it'd be expensive to make but they'd make a lot of money off of it. Look at how bad these Transformers films are, but in spite of that they still make a ton of money.

They got bad reviews because the story is atrocious and a lot of consistency and narrative is sacrificed for the sake of cool. The actual quality of the animation and cgi is incredible though

Its amazing how people don't get why optimus struggled at first. They were in a city n so none of them was able to go all out due to the pedestrians being all around them. Other words in the first movie n age of extinction. The decepticons had the advantage n edge over the autobots. But when it came to areas that weren't full of civilians the autobots were the ones who thoroughly kicked ass especially optimus

If you pay attention his combat style it was like a wrestler and his weakness was swords he specialize in distance and in wrestling, in the 4 movie you can see that he created a mechanism to make up his weakneses, literally destroyed optimus sword at the start of the figth, thats why he maked the thing in his chest to compensate his weakness for swords.

What the others said , Megatron lost some part of his body and got replaced by weak ones , that is the reason why he was weaker after the first movie , but the real reason is that they made every decepticon weak after the first movie , look how Starscream literally destroys in the first movie then he is a little nobody in the next 2 , the director took a different direction and after the first movie in every transformers movie the autobots had the upper hand , even in Transformers Prime the decepticon won more than they lose 1on1 fights which is the accurate representation knowing that they won the war at Cybertron....But somehow they always lose in transformers 2,3,4 and 5 😂 Megatron was the best fighter on Cybertron so him beating Optimus eventho he is a prime makes perfect sense , Sentinel also beat Optimus eventho he didn't have the matrix of leadership anymore so a prime doesn't automatically become a good fighter

stella park yeah he does. In Transformers 2, during the battle of Egypt, one of the Arcee's sister, an Autobot who finds Sam and Mikaela and says to them that they will carry them to Optimus, who dies because a shoot. That shoot was of Starscream.
That's the thing, the characters who the writers class as 'unimportant' the characters like Jazz, Starscream and the other background Autobots and Decepticons are given barely any lines, barely any screen time and are killed of without any chance at character development.
If someone says sideswipe was there favourite I don't get how, I mean his design was cool but he got given barely any screen time.
If I were making these movies then I would forget the humans and give the transformers actual character

Well marvel doesn't have that much of great fighting scenes yes it has moments but not fighting sequences where is intense that are memorable.. To me is just winter soldier's freeway fight and civil war's airport fight/black panther's moments.

People say he's out of character yet it's a freaking war would you rather he sit around and Jack off while the cons turn everything to shit around him like think reasonably.
Naruto Gamer take the original Optimus. Sure he wouldn’t sit around and let the cons destroy everything. But he would also try to reason with them. Optimus uses violence as a last resort. This prime doesn’t even try to talk. He just goes out on a rampage. Which makes the line: “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings” seem less like a part of his character, and more a quote he heard of and thought it was cool, so he repeats it all the time

He's not a killer he just fought for what he believed in and for the safety of his planet and after ages of war even a passive person like prime would get tired of the constant battle and death.

Robert Delaney ikr, he ripped shockwaves throat out, he ripped a decepticons face in half with hooks, he stabbed another decepticon in the throat, he ripped out and crushed the fallens spark, he yelled "YOU DIE" and "I'LL KILL YOU" at decepticons, stabbed lockdown through the chest and sliced his face in half from there and ripped megatrons head off.
Lol and he ripped off starscream's arm and beat him with it haha.

Sam I understand, but I liked the first movie because of the 'immortal' fight between these powerful robots, it took effort to kill one.
The first film was definitley the best of them, it still looks incredibly realistic to this day and had a decent plot. the character designs were amazing but it lacked in character development yet it was still the best of them
I still like Dark of the Moon because there was alot of secrets going on and the battle of Chicago was definitely the best in the entire movie, but the first movie is pretty good too
